I am beside my self on how poorly this location in run by management. How can a business be able to operate in the state with such poor standards. My wife and I booked a trip from PA to NJ for a two day festival in Asbury Park this weekend. We paid top dollar to stay at this place due to the event. We tried to cancel one night 48 hours before checkin (“company policy”) but the manager was no where to be found to approve the request. When we arrived at the property we went to the front desk and dealt with a gentleman who had obviously no training or filter. He told us with a grin that the manger would not approve our request because it was a real money making week for the hotel. He proceeded to call Dave (Manager) who said “I’m off today and I’m not dealing with this” and hung up. At this point we had a really good idea of the establishment we just forked $680.00 of our hard earned money too. Very unfortunate. We didn’t get anywhere at the front desk and it was getting late so we went up to the room to drop our things and head to the show. When we opened the door the first thing I did was go to the bed to make sure the place was at the very least clean to sleep. Well long story short and some photos to back up my review we checked out 10 mins after check in. If your okay with an inexperienced staff, piss poor management and dirty sheets this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would highly recommend making other plans for lodging.

At the time of booking the Wyndham La Quinta site I booked through said was dog friendly hotel. I have always stayed in a La Quinta with my small dog. Desk check in was not helpful or nice about it, I was asked to leave even though hotel was empty. The website has since changed to say no pets. hallways dark, room not fresh smelling and oddly empty when all other hotels were booked.

Checked in and discovered the bed linens were stained and dirty. When we went to the front desk to ask for clean linens, the man there told us there weren’t any and a maid would clean the room the next morning (which would be after we checked out). When this was explained, he finally gave us two sheets and two pillow cases and we did our best to cover the dirty fitted sheet for the night. Awful service and rooms not worth the price. Would not recommend or ever go back.

Train their staff better. The front desk was very rude. For $240/night in not a great area of the Jersey shore the bathroom tub was glazed and really nasty looking, mold between the tiles. The lighting in the bathroom was horrible. A motel would have been a better choice than this hotel.

very neat & clean hotel. Would stay there again. Quick check-in & check-out. convenient to places to eat & shopping areas. comfortable beds. No problem with noise. Great weekend without any problems. Very pleased.
