We stayed at this Inn June 20. It had only been open a couple of weeks due to COVID 19, but they seemed on top of everything. Lots of hand sanitizer in lobby and rooms, staff wearing masks, great options for dinning including a specious dining room, outdoor panting and in room service. Everyone in the building that we saw, was wearing a mask. We ate outside for both dinner and breakfast. It felt perfectly safe and clean. The service was friendly and helpful, most especially the front desk staff. I noticed them wipe down menus when I went down to pick up something for our room, so they really seemed on top of that, though cheap throw always may have been better, though I get the waste issue! I look forward to returning with some planned local tourist spots.

We had a relaxing and wonderful 2 nights at the inn with our dogs. They enjoyed the spacious room, fireplace and walking around the property. We dined at the restaurant both nights and loved the maple creme brûlée, as well as breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Thank you for a great stay and lovely service!

This out-of-the-way inn was exactly as I hoped, and more. The decor was lovely, just what you’d expect in a country inn, and exceeded my expectations. Judy and Phil and April and the team were utterly gracious every step of the way, and delightful. The food was outstanding, and that’s coming from an NYC foodie. Dinner is as advertised, not to be missed. Rack of lamb and brussels sprouts and dessert superb. “Breakfast included” meant a full menu, full service. Tables were expanded to multiple beautiful rooms to allow for space between tables. I had a great time, and would go again.

We took a few days before New Years to get away. I had been meaning to try the Chestrfield Inn for some time and finally got the chance. We are very happy we chose the Chesterfield Inn in West Chesterfield, NH (near Keene, NH and Brattleboro, VT). We had a lovely 2 days there. First, with all the concerns about Covid-19, I have to say that they did a commendable job to keep everyone safe. Dining tables were spread out among the dining rooms and living room so that there was always at least 10 yards between any set of diners. They have an excellent menu for a modest-sized inn, both for dinner and breakfast. Second, we found all of the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful.
