Dated, smells terrible, not clean. This was a work trip and they paid for this stay or I would have left. Staff did move us to another room to get away from the awful smell, but it still lingered. The furniture is old and it's not clean. I hated going places with our group because I was afraid our clothes smelled musty from the hotel.
had a bungalow suite on main floor - beautiful room and very close to casino and pool. Our casino host, Gina, helped with reservations and amenities. Our room had coffee pot and refrigerator. We saw 3 shows - comedy shop, legends, and 3 Redneck Tenors. The 3 Redneck Tenor show was amazing! It was good to see that some of our favorite cocktail waitresses (Tracy is our favorite but all are very dedicated and cordial) are back at work and that more restaurant options are available since our April visit. Our room was cleaned perfectly daily. We have been coming to Tropicana for many years and only gamble there using the player's club cards. Gina makes us feel like valued customers and we are very thankful for her! We visited the pool daily and made reservations for pool chairs ahead of time. Very relaxing visit!…
Check in staff was not nice. Shower pressure was harsh. Lihhting was dim in rooms and ice machine leaked into carpet of hallway near my door. I wouldn't recommend this place to a person i hated. Subpar accomodations. Plus elevator was consistantly out.
My dad was here for a pool tournament and I got to spend it with him for 5 days since my mom passed away over a year ago. This has been an awesome trip for lots of fun and healing as he has gone anywhere since she passed. We have got to spend a lot of time together.
We stayed at this hotel with family on the way back from Grand Canyon, as we had tickets to a couple of shows at the Luxor and Mandalay Bay, and the price was cheaper. Cross the bridge over the boulevard and you are at the Excalibur and the tram plus close to other strip hotels. The rooms were good sized and clean, but the furniture was old, and a serious update is needed. To my surprise, there was no fridge, microwave or coffee maker or hand towels (the latter appeared the second night). We were given a confusing description regarding where to park and ended up in lot 3, a long walk to the entrance with luggage. From there to the Club Tower, where our rooms were, there must have been a 3/4-mile walk. If we were in Vegas again, I'd pay a little more and stay at one of the more modern hotels on the boulevard or at one of the suites motels a mile away.…
