Unpleasant staff, poor service, overcharged and incorrect charges. That’s my lasting memory of this hotel. We arrived the day before the cyber attack. The room allocated was an accessible room which was dirty. We requested a move the next morning but was told there were some ‘technical issues’. Later that day all the slot machines went down. We spent the evening in one of the bars and next morning I had a notification from my bank that money had been taken out from this bar, these were not the payments we had made the night before, they were additional. We spoke to reception who told us there was nothing they could do as the systems were down so we should wait until later and then speak with the staff at the bar. When we checked out we were asked to give our room number and email address to a lady with a clip board as the system was still down and we would be sent an invoice and our deposit would be refunded. Over two weeks have passed now and we have had neither, and to add insult to injury Mandalay Bay have tried to take an additional amount of 711 USD out of my bank account. I have emailed querying why and again requesting our deposit be returned but haven’t had a reply yet. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, but if you do use cash, its much safer.

Amazing mini family vacation! This review is geared towards parents with toddlers. If you’re worried about taking kids to Vegas, don’t be! We took both our toddler kids and Mandalay Bay is the perfect spot for families. Family friendly and has an amazing pool. I’ll start with the following: MGM APP. We downloaded the app, super easy to use and convenient. Don’t waste your time at the front desk checking in, you can do that on the app and use your phone to unlock room door and parking. Each purchase you make is also uploaded quickly on the app so you can track all your purchases during your stay. You can check out with a breeze on it too. I don’t know why people don’t use this and avoid the long check in/out lines. Pool: amazing pool! The wave/beach pool is for kids 48 inches and taller BUT to the left of that is a kiddie pool and the smaller waves go towards that side so you can just relax on the beach with your kids if they’re still under 48 inches. The lazy river is awesome. TIP – bring your own tubes as they do not rent them. They sell them for $30 each but you can bring in your own and they have an inflation station. If you don’t care for them, you’re allowed to go in without them but when it’s crowded, you might get bumped. The bigger pool is also nice, tons of families go there. I think the deepest was 4 feet. There’s another pool geared towards adults when you first walk in. FYI, a 32 oz Miami vice will run you about $30 but so good when it’s hot LOL. Parking: $18 a night BUT you can park at any of the MGM hotels so it’s kind of nice if you don’t feel like walking strip but want to get closer to another hotel, just use the app to open gates at one of the MGM hotels. Tram: It’s FREE! Kids loved this. It goes from Mandalay Bay to Luxor and then Excalibur and back every 10-15 minutes I believe. We hoped on it a few times to check out Luxor and Excalibur. I will say though, Mandalay Bay seemed to have “fresher” air inside. Luxor is nice but you could smell the cigarette smoke more for some reason. Maybe there was a lot more smokers at the hotel, not sure. Room: Clean, big and has a huge bath tub the kids loved to go in there. They also have a walk in shower. We stayed in a 2 queen bedroom. Tons of room if you wanted to bring in a twin air mattress or cot for little ones. We took kids to M&M World, Coca Cola Store which is right next to M&M. Hershey store, drove to the “welcome to fabulous las Vegas sign” which is just a couple of miles away from hotel. We walked around and took pics at New York, New York. Didn’t get a chance to check out the fountains at Bellagio or the free circus act at Circus Circus Hotel but we figured we’d do that next time. Overall, amazing stay and won’t stay at any other hotel from now on. 2 nights went by quick and wish we stayed a 3rd because of pool. It was about 105 degrees (August) when we were there but didn’t feel like it in the pool.

We enjoyed our stay at Mandalay Bay while attending a get together with friends and party. Very nice spacious hotel room overlooking the pool area, tons of shops, restaurants and bars in the hotel area and beautiful pool with lazy river and cabanas. We very much enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Large resort with enormous wave pool as key attraction. Smoke free casino still had random smokers unfortunately. Interior hallways and room furnishings need updating but they are still ok and not unattractive. Double sinks and separate shower and nice tub in my double queen room was awesome and the beds were comfortable. The AC worked well enough and my room on the 9th floor with a pool view was quiet enough at night to sleep. No free coffee in room was a bummer. Check in was a wait of about 20 minutes. Multiple restaurants within the hotel resort and connecting interior mall to the Luxor with various operating times which was inconsistent. Recommend Dellas at the Delano for breakfast and the Border Grill at the MB. Room price was slightly above expected price and there’s a $43 per night resort fee not sure what it was for.

First let me say the room was fine great view. The people smoking dope next door was terrible and the hotel staff did nothing about it . The food in the hotel, not worth the money. Be prepared to pay $150 to $700 for any shade at the pools. Monday morning they close all the pools except the wave pool. I have been to many resorts in Vegas this was the most expensive and the worst experience. I found the majority of the staff, just don’t care.

Staying here now and I have to vent about the Uber situation at this hotel, There are signs all through the casino directing to the Uber pickup area, in the parking garage (out back). Then an official looking ride share area Uber, Lyft in the garage. Even an enclosed waiting area. I had two different Ubers cancel on me because they went to the front of the hotel. One I texted after the app said he’d arrived and he was nowhere to be found, he said there’s no parking garage at Mandalay. REALLY?!?! Then where am I standing? So today I found out there’s actually a SECOND Uber area in the front of the hotel, down one level from registration, far away from the Uber area in the garage. Mandalay, if you are going to have two separate Uber pickup areas, how is the driver to know which one to go to? So irritating.

I have been to Vegas over 100 times and have never experienced what I experienced last weeked. Not only was half the casino not working, slot machines down, sportsbook down, no TV in the room, limited internet, no upgrades available, etc....The customer service could give 2 craps about it. I was repeatedly told there was nothing that could be done about like it WAS MY FAULT. The workers attitude towards these issue was appalling. For example If I played a slot machine and wanted to cash out I had to wait almost 30 minutes to get my cash AND THEY PERSON WHO CASHED IT WAS PISSED OFF AT ME after I complained. Is this real life? I will never ever return to this joke of a hotel for as long as human days are possible. All my sports bet that I won I have to now mail in could theycould not pay me my cash. Hey MGM here is an idea...pay the ransom. You are going to lose customers by they thousands on a daily basis so at this point pay the cyber ransom and move on. The way they do not value their customers makes me believe that they deserve what they are getting. Bottom Line: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

24.00 for Fiji Water; 14.00 for Peanut M$Ms; 12.00 for Pringles. This is ridiculously outrages! People from all walks come to this facility and not just the rich and wealthy. Overpricing leaves a bad taste in the mouths of people that work hard and save to travel on vacation.

I had a great time at this hotel. It is easily my favorite hotel on the strip. Really great atmosphere and great vibe. I really enjoyed the gambling experience and loved the food and beverage outlets that I visited. Room was clean and I had a great Strip view. I also like the walkway though the shops to the Luxor. I can't wait to come back.
