The entire hotel area smells like marijuana and cigarettes and if thats not appealing enough for you they try to add on charges for OTHER people smoking in their NON SMOKING rooms because they rarely check the rooms and there is little to no accountability when it comes to the staff. They will profile and treat their customers like criminals even if you are staying at the hotel. Instead of taking the time to see if there is a misunderstanding they will acuse you of being a drunk, a drug user, anything under the sun to cover their ass. Customer service is awful and will give you the run around unless you take legal action. Good luck trying to talk to someone who can do ANYTHING for you but give you vague dimsissive responses until you give up, im sure theyll reply to this with an automated answer asking me to contact them but not do a damn thing when i call but blame me, the construction, their lunch break, literally anything but them not doing their part to ensure their guests are treated fairly. We will NEVER set foot on this property again and if I were you I would do the same. This area of las vegas is nothing but disgusting dive bars and junkies. Just save yourself the headache and stay on the strip.

Hotel's Favourite
I live in Vegas but don't get to leave my house very often so I needed a change of scenery, and to be somewhere where I can actually walk around, people watch and enjoy the nightlight. When choosing a place to stay, I picked the Oasis because the Poolside King Suite was a really good price and for the aesthetic. Sadly, it was very windy during my stay, so I didn't get to enjoy the pool, but it looked really inviting. Front desk staff is really friendly and helpful and yes, it does get a bit loud by the pool but the hotel provides ear plugs. I mean, it's right in the middle of then hustle and bustle of Downtown Las Vegas. The room was as clean as any other hotel room, it was pretty standard in that aspect. It's a nice alternative to the casinos nearby, and I definitely enjoyed the somewhat retro vibe.

Brandy really helps us out everytime we stay there! Some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever met, and have amazing music everytime we check-in. Super convenient location, right of Fremont street and easy access.

Great stay! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Brandy was very accommodating throughout my 4 days here. Location was great and the club is also very fun. The parking was free and the location of the parking lot made it easy for delivery (doordash) to find me. 10/10

So my personal experience wasn't bad but I feel like I should mention some things people should know before booking. The Hotel: First of all, this is not a normal hotel, it is a room to stay in above a night club, from what I was aware of, there was no on site food (except a small snack fridge in the check in area) so you will be eating out every day if you stay here. Checking in was fine, they will ask you to pay the room tax and deposit upfront and you must use a bank card with your name on it and signed on the back. (you will get the deposit back roughly 12/24 hours after you check out if you didn't damage the room) If you can't handle noise do not stay here, the air-conditioning unit is extremely loud and is set on a timer, you can switch it off but then unfortunately you well get extremely hot in your room. Also as you are above a nightclub you will hear loud music and lots of people talking all hours of the night. (wasn't an issue for me as I prefer noise when I sleep) The bed was comfy and clean, so no issues there. The shower was kinda janky, it worked but wasn't very strong and water was coming out of the tap underneath. The bathtub had no plug so it wasn't possible to have a bath if you wanted one. Before I travelled to my hotel I saw reviews mentioning issues entering the hotel room through the club. I can confirm part of this is true, you do have to go through the club entrance to get to your room, during the day there is no issue, just show them your room card and they are fine, but if you want to go to your room at night when the club is open you will have to wait at the entrance for the security to let you in, I once again had no personal issues with this as it was never busy when I got back, so they just waved me on. One small frustration was the hotel has 2 lifts(elevators) but only 1 was working, so I ended up having to wait a long time to actually use it. The hotel has a no smoking/vaping policy but unfortunately it did smell like stale smoke/weed (I don't blame the hotel for this as it is hard to police this) but it can be an issue to people when a sensitive nose. My room only had 1 usable outlet/plug socket in the room and 1 in the bathroom so don't expect to be able to plug in multiple things whilst you are there. The TV worked fine. I didn't use it, but the pool looked fine, wasn't overcrowded and looked clean. House keeping only showed up once during my 10 day trip, I think you need to request it yourself which at the time I didn't know. I am pretty sure there was No room service too as I saw no way of contacting the front desk from your room. The surrounding area: So non of this section is any fault of the hotel but it is worth mentioning before you book. The hotel is in a convenient spot as it is only a 3-5 minuet walk from Fremont street, plenty of stuff to do there, but you will find alot of homeless people and "escorts" hanging around the area so be aware you may get approached especially if you are on your own. There is a 7/11 around the corner from the hotel but it is a pretty rundown 7/11 with not alot of selection, also once again you may get approached by the locals asking for money. Be cautious of the street performers/Pretty girls with feathers attached to them, they will attempt to get a photo with you then charge you alot of money afterwards. Cabs/Ubers are extremely expensive, you are close to Freemont street but roughly a 20 minuet drive to the main strip. it cost me $70 for a 20min cab ride as an example. Closing statement: My stay in the hotel was pretty average, I was in Vegas for a convention, it was a roof over my head, a place to shower and sleep so it served its purpose. Perfect location if you just wanna go out get drunk and gamble, Not so good if you are there for anything else.

Bait and switch. I reserved two queen beds and when I got here they gave me a single queen bed, the remote doesn’t work and the front desk person acted as if I was a bother to her. Horrible customer service, and the front desk people need to work on their people skills. Don’t stay here, they lie to you and overcharge you

When I went to Gold Spike as a Vegas native I felt like they decided that their presidency was way to obnoxious for me to want to come back for a staycation. I literally was unable to go downstairs due to the fact that I do not wear jeans I wear comfy clothes and do not like the idea of having to wear slacks, jeans, or kaky shorts. I was unable to wear my joggers sweats or even my basketball shorts. I'm saying that I literally have been to almost every club in Vegas and I have never been treated like I didn't belong due to my outfit. I wore my joggers Hollister shirt and had very "neat" high top vans and they told me I was not allowed in. If you ever feel like you want to be allowed and welcomed anywhere in Vegas don't go here.

Great place to stay! The hotel is in a great location and there are a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. Fremont street is just around the corner. There is no casino, which I love because I don't gamble. They have giant games instead, like Jenga, checkers and tic tac toe. The staff is extremely friendly. Brandy was so sweet and extremely helpful. She answered all our questions and made sure our stay was great.

The location and the price of the hotel is amazing for being so close to Fremont. The game area outside is an awesome way to kill some time or just hang out. Checking in early and checking out late fees are way cheaper then expected which helps a lot when you can’t check in till 3pm and check out is 11am everywhere
