This trip was our third stay from the Uk and we loved it, great resort and strip location, we will be back. Between the palazzo and the Venetian we fully committed to the slot machines and found the choice of slot machines amazing, now we wait to see what comps we are offered so we can plan our next trip. Even though we have been before this was the first trip my wife and I registered for a Grazie card. By the end of our trip I had qualified for the second level so I do hope some free nights are coming my way !!! Amazing holiday we will be back.
My wife and I checked into the Palazzo after staying at Trump, Aria and Vdara. I chose Palazzo because my wife was turning 50 and I wanted something special for her. I spoke with the woman at check-in and quietly explained the significance of the day and also provided a tip. When we eventually were allowed to go to our room we were impressed with the room, a suite - but the view was the worst we had experienced while in Vegas this trip. The soured things for me as I really wanted my wife to benefit from a good view - but at least the room itself was top class. I couldnt believe the size, the quality of the furniture and the comfort of the bed. A beautiful hotel whioch deserves 10 out of 10.
There is a lack of communication with this hotel and a general unwillingness to help. Upon arrival we gave our card as a hold and asked if there would be any additional fees, we were told no yet our card was charged an extra $450. This is a hidden but apparently mandatory service fee for services you will most probably not use during your stay. Next was the room. We booked a room for 3 people but it was set up for 2, when we called for extra towels and robes we were told there was an extra fee, calling anyone in the hotel will mean you're left on hold for ages and just in general the vibe of the hotel is very dated so of your young and looking for a good time, definitely stay anywhere else.
We stayed in a beautiful suite with our 8 year old and our 21 year old met us from Salt Lake City. We spent time with family in the LV suburbs for Thanksgiving. This hotel was clean, comfortable and felt very luxurious. We have stayed at the Bellagio, Cosmo, and Red Rocks. All great, but my wife and I agreed this was a step up. The Lux Cafe had great food and reasonably priced! Had 3 meals there and cannot say anything bad about it. Extensive menu with average of 18-30 per plate. Beef wellington blew me away for $23.
We stayed here for a conference and added on one extra day for relaxing. The rooms look like they were redone somewhat since we were here for the same conference pre-Covid. However, there were not enough towels and washcloths in the room, the robes/slippers were missing, the bathroom amenity box was empty (should have had the standard Q-tips, etc), and they no longer provide evening turndown with room refreshing, which is standard for all other luxury hotels. We usually stay at Wynn and Encore, and they make this happen with zero problems. Our coworker said there were popped balloons in her room, and I met a gentleman on the elevator who was on his way down to try to be moved a third time - the first room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time with food in the room, and the second one had blood in the sink. Looks like the rooms aren’t really being inspected by a supervisor before being released to a guest. The next time we have a conference here at this hotel, we will stay here again because it’s convenient and worked well for easy access to our room, restaurants, etc. Just don’t expect the extras. We also went to Tao for a brief afternoon. Very packed. The check-in ladies who take your money were very haughty and rude. The gentlemen who do the bag checks and move you along to the pool area were very nice and friendly.…
