Quieter than other hotels. Perfect if there for a convention at the Mandalay bay. It's a bit remote from the rest of the strip but there is a free tram that connects you to NyNy and the park / stadium area.
The room was extremely nice ......on the inside. I was informed by the front desk that they put me on the 5th floor so I could get a good view. When I arrived at the room I pulled back the curtains and found a large wall in front of all the windows. A big disappointment I can assure you. Next, to pay a $30.00 resort fee per day on a $300 dollar a day room and not even offer a single coffee or water in the room comes across as just plain cheap. So these things really influenced my decision.
Delano Suites were perfect. We had 2 king suites and all of us were more than happy. Quiet, clean, great customer service, beautiful, comfortable beds, etc. The corner view was amazing. We will be back!!
I usually don’t do this but I’m mad. Today is our last day here and I’m ready to leave. Our room was on the 36th floor. It was extremely noisy. I could hear street noise even this high up. Motorcycles racing up and down the street. Recycling trucks crushing & smashing bottles. There was a bad “valve” located in the wall that slams close every so often. It sounds like a heavy metal door being slammed. The last thing is housekeeping. They don’t show up, even if you leave the housekeeping light on. My poor husband tried to make this week so special. I don’t blame him for this fiasco. He said we will not be back and that’s a promise!!
Great hospitality…great restaurants…great rooms…great atmosphere. We will definitely be staying at the Delano from now on. The suite had two bathrooms which you never get in most hotels. So convenient with 4 girls getting ready at the same time.
