This was a trip for my mom and myself. We had two rooms. One booked AMEX PLAT and the other comped. The first was reserved as ADA. This wasn’t available at checkin. After an hour of waiting in lobby; my mom tried the regular room. However she got stuck in it with her mobility scooter - my husband has to assist her out of the room. . I eventually was in contact with Marcel (Operations Front desk manager) and he accommodated us into appropriate rooms and made our stay go from a potential nightmare to a fabulous experience. He truly went above and beyond and personally assisted my husband in retrieving our luggageand then moving into our new rooms. The remainder of our stay was superb. Service. Rooms. Cleanliness. Dining. Anything I could think of was perfect.
The NoMad in the Park MGM is a stunner, especially considering both hotels were made over from the comparatively staid-but-desperate-to-be-hip Monte Carlo. This place takes its luxury stamp seriously - I mean where else would the key card holder be in deep red velvet? Fancy. If it's your first stay, a personalized letter of greeting awaits on the desk, along with NoMad-branded playing cards. 'cuz you're still in Vegas. The staff were superb, very helpful and professional but accessibly nice. The front deskperson Rebecca was very helpful in sorting out a reservation problem, and the bellmen were gratifyingly prompt whether picking up or bringing up luggage. The Atelier room was restful, with solid dark furnishings and charming decorative touches, very comfortable bed with plump pillows, and a huge tub right next to it. The WC, complete with sink, had its own room away from the shower (which had a glass door that helpfully swung in both directions). The for-pay refrigerator was discretely concealed in a large steamer trunk. And the closet contained a more useful steamer, along with thick robes and slippers. Now, there were some design quirks to the room - a make-up mirror was missed; the shower could have used a separate water wand; while the analog clock did keep to the room's theme, even a version which lit up, or had a larger face, to see the time from further than a few inches away would have been nice; and the tub, while definitely enjoyed, was most certainly not designed for shorties. These were minor demerits but listed for thoroughness. The NoMad overall set the bar quite high and was the perfect way to end my trip.…
I enjoyed the room and the non smoking atmosphere. Hotel roomed was comped and a food credit. Didn’t mind dishing out some cash to the casino and letting the money go round. I’ll be back! I also like that the Nomad is only select amount of floors.
Had another incredible stay at Nomad for my birthday. The rooms are amazing and comfortable super quiet never heard anyone in the halls or in the rooms next to us. The room decor is done very tastefully and has that high end feel to it. Nomad makes you feel welcomed from the time you walk in the door. Nomad made my birthday extra special and I will never forget it. Candace made this an unforgettable celebration trip and thank you for the extra touches you added to our room.
Great service from the moment you step onto the property right up until you leave. The door/bell men were always friendly and knowledgeable as were the front desk and housekeeping staff. Everyone made us feel special.
I love the NoMad love the Park I away stay at one of them. It's always clean friendly staff. Easy to get around restaurants are close. Seen to be secure a few street people issues but security was present
How do you charge a $40 resort fee and then have the pool closed the entire visit? Don't leave your clothes lying around because they disappear when they take the towels and sheets when cleaning the room. Don't expect to ever see them again because there is no follow up. Front desk is the most unprofessional people i have come across as everything for them is an effort including the simple printing of my bill or asking twice to then email it to me. Avoid and go somewhere else.
Haven’t been to Vegas since 2019. We used to split our stays between Aria and Cosmopolitan. We decided to check the Nomad out because it was a boutique hotel located on the top 4 floors of the Park MGM and non smoking. We weren’t disappointed. As soon as you come in you have a private check in area away from the Park MGM. The only thing I found is it’s very dark and it takes a bit for your eyes to adjust from the bright sunshine outside to inside. There are separate elevator banks separated by floors that you share with the Park MGM guests. We got a classic king. It was pretty spacious and bright. Our room didn’t have the claw tub. We had the shower and bathroom in one room. Basic room but all you do is sleep. Beds are very comfortable. Not a lot of storage space. My daughter came and was able to get the Atelier Suite, which would be the next level up from us and is about 100 sq ft larger. That room had a separate toilet at the entrance, you walk in a hallway then shower/sink is in another area. The claw bath tub is right beside your bed. What was not great is the lack of space to hang/store your clothing. We had to store a lot of clothes in the luggage. We just had an armour. On one side it had the safe at the bottom and the robes hanging. Not much room to hang or put clothes away. If you had a long dress, it wouldn’t hang properly because of the safe. The other side of the armour had the mini fridge/bar that has “the regular censored items that get charged to your room” if you use them at the bottom and a shelf with the usual ice bucket/glasses. Perhaps another shelf or strategically placed hooks to hang some things would’ve been helpful. Housekeeping was great. Employees are super friendly. The casino floor is small compared to other properties but it’s non smoking and it’s literally a breath of fresh air. My husband is a smoker and he didn’t mind at all that he couldn’t smoke. We found there was a lack of servers for drinks. However, we went to a few other properties and it was the same. Nomad is going to be our new Vegas destination.…
