I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during Halloween weekend. Now that I’ve found it, I will not be staying anywhere else. Pros: - private. There is no reason for non-guests to be in the hotel - not a casino - smoke-free - smells so good like all other Waldorf-Astorias - spacious rooms with high-quality details and amenities - pool actually gets full sun exposure (unlike the Wynn where my friend stayed. We barely got any sun there and became so cold in late afternoon)
This place had some issues, both Covid and non-Covid related. But overall, it was definitely a 5 star experience. The location is what makes this place for me. Right in the middle of the strip, but the hotel is hidden in a bit of a bowl. It is like being on the Strip without dealing with all the people. Nice and quiet. No casino, but very easy to get to Aria and Cosmopolitan, among others. The common areas are pretty typical of Waldorf, lots of dark wood and marble. You have to go up to the reception area from valet, separate elevators for room and hotel entrance. Always weird having to switch elevators. Nice area for afternoon tea and a bar with a legit view of the Strip. We liked the spa, but no hot tub or sauna, etc due to Covid. Pool looked nice and was pretty empty. As with the areas, the room is typical Waldorf, 5 star quality. Super comfortable bed. Good size, all the amenities. Service was very good, from reception to bar to spa. The valet was a man from NY and he was incredibly helpful with the family. For value, Waldorf ain't cheap, in either dollars or points. I think it's worth it, and I am a bit of a Hilton guy, but there are so many options in Vegas that are pretty close in quality but much lower prices that its hard to recommend. That, and I don't want anyone else ruining it.…
I came here to go to a music festival and didn't want to be also surrounded by crowds during the daytime. Also wanted to be away from the smoke and the casinos. This hotel had it all. Also loved their contactless vault to give me all the things I needed like extra towels, and the speed of delivery was super fast. Loved it and will definitely come back again.
Came for one night while in Vegas. Came as a Hilton Diamond. Received bottled water and $25 per person in food and beverage. Rooms were very adequate and comfortable bed. Decent bathroom with glass walls. 2 pools but surprised pool attendant was not able to accommodate the 3 of us with chairs. The $50 covered 2 drinks at the pool. Hotel is walking distance to the Aria if you want to gamble. $35 valet parking. Check in experience was very good.
Having read some of the reviews I was concerned about our stay but was very pleasantly surprised. Amongst the craziness of The Strip this hotel was a very pleasant and peaceful surprise. Love the closeness of everything but feeling like this is a quiet oasis in a great location. Check in was good if a little confused about our benefits. We were staying on an American Express FHR package but also as a Hilton Honors Diamond Member. Loved our large refurbished room. Other than the overly complicated lighting the room was very comfortable, especially the large tub. Also loved the entry way and closet area. Breakfast was excellent and service was professional and attentive. We loved the bar and a great place for a cocktail. The bar tenders seemed a little over whelmed. Pool area was great and an oasis in the middle of Vegas. Service was a little inconsistent and servers seemed overwhelmed, even though they weren’t that busy. We are returning to Vegas in July and had booked this hotel and the Aria..,.,we have now cancelled the Aria. Overall a great choice,…
