When my friend and I arrived to the hotel there was a 30min wait just to check in and it was so incredibly frustrating because we just wanted to go to sleep but there were only 3 workers and everyone in front of us were having issues. There was no breakfast but the $10 pancakes from the cafe were really good. The room itself is decent and pretty clean with comfortable beds. It was a 30~ min walk to the Strip in a bad neighborhood so would not recommend walking. It’s safe if you stay inside the hotel but I would not stay there again.

Hotel's Favourite
I stayed at this property this past weekend for the first time. I did choose this location for the much lower pricing that was available so I did not have much expectations. I had just recently stayed downtown (Fremont street), so I was not expecting a lot. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Checking was outstanding and the the property is really nice. The room is, well, it’s a room, not why I was going. The casino floor and everyone employed at the Strat are the reason to come. Every, and I mean every, dealer, waitstaff, bartender and floor manager were completely AWESOME! Tip: get a players card (takes about a minute) and start to experience the true feeling of the what Vegas is suppose to be. I spent many hours on the casino floor, they had plenty of table options, very knowledgeable staff to assist and it was a great time. I wish I could remember each persons name to recognize, but alas I can’t. I highly recommend staying or playing at the Strat! I ate at the 24 hour diner both days for breakfast. Elliot at the bar near the table games is awesome! I even forgot my room key a couple of times and never had any issues getting them replaced. If you take a ride share from the airport you do dropped off in the back of the hotel so it is a walk to checkin. I would definitely come back!

Room is very dirty when we arrived. It obviously was not vacuum properly. We booked a non-smoking room but the room smelled like cigarettes. Even the towels and bed sheets smelled like smoke. We even saw pizza flyers in the hallway. We stayed there for a couple of nights and pizza flyers was still there when we checked out.

In general, we liked the new look of the STRAT. Modern, clean, and good customer service. Our experience at the Top of the World was amazing. Celebrated our anniversary and the quality of food and service were 5 stars. Views were breathtaking and reminded me of our time at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Upgraded my room and it was nicely renovated. I would suggest to add a small sofa for the room. The only thing that disappointed me was the smell of weed at the lobby, front entrance and parking structure. There were many young crowds scattered in the front and probably that’s the reason for that. I hope that would change because I really like to go back to visit. However, with the kind of crowds it kind of made me uncomfortable. Parking structure was dirty and stinky. I saw many people holding bottles of hard liquor walking around the parking structure. Overall, I would give my experience a 4 stars out of 5. The entire 4 stars was given towards my experience at the Top of the World!!!!!

We love staying here in Las Vegas, but the Strat continues to perplex me. The rooms are pretty nice and the adult pool bar is fantastic, but the service is the casino bars is truly terrible. At Remix and View Lounge you get treated like you're nobody. The bars were not even half full and yet 2 and 3 people behind it cannot manage to serve you. Lots of chatting among co-workers, arranging booze, etc., but not much in the way of taking care of your customers. We sat at the bar, played video poker, and nobody even acknowledged us. After 10 minutes we left and walked to the Sahara Casbar and they were great. I suggest the Strat staff take a field trip to the Sahara and take some notes on how to take care of customers.
