We stayed Tuesday-Friday in March 2020. Our first impression was the room was clean and quite nice for the cost. The casino is an average casino, but the food court is actually really good.

On our first night we went to bed with an early conference in the morning. The room was super hot because even though the AC ran all afternoon, they really are not meant to cool much. Right as we start to try to fall asleep the wall behind our bed is shaking every few minutes with loud rattling. We kept hoping it would stop, but we quickly realized it was the elevator. At 1 AM it was clear this was going to happen all night. I packed up the room as my husband went down to the lobby to get a new one. They handled it very quick with no argument. However no apology or how can we make the rest of your stay more pleasant and we were now not rested for the early morning alarm.

Second issue we experienced, as we had checked in they asked us to consider not using a maid during our stay. They would provide us with a $10 food credit in exchange. We agreed to do this. What we didn’t understand at the time is that if you opt out of maid service this hotel still wants in your room every single day. Rather than waiting for you to leave your room, they are going to “safety check” when you are in your room. Now think that through. It’s a hotel room. What are you doing in there? Sleeping, showering, changing, etc. I happened to be napping when the incessant pounding on the door started. I did have the “occupied” sign up because they don’t do “do not disturb” for this very reason. I truly thought my husband must have left his key the way the pounding continued until I opened the door. With no proof of who she was or what she was doing there a hotel staff member said “safety check” and pushed past me into my room. I said “ma’am I am sleeping!!” She responded with “it will be quick.” She proceeded to check our room for who knows what. Including messing around with my white noise sound machine. Then she attempted to make a call. Because she couldn’t make the phone work, she turned on all the lights and started pushing everything on the night stand out of the way. All in all it took about 5 minutes of my time, not a huge deal, unless you are in the middle of something private or it just destroyed your chances of sleeping.

I would not recommend this hotel for these reasons. If you do stay here, make sure to not opt out of house keeping so at least you can actually determine when they check out your room and your privacy can stay yours.

This hotel was clean and tidy. Disappointed that I was staying in a deluxe queen and there was no bath. The room was large, but there was no coffee maker or kettle. Once in the room it was quiet. I asked about bath and they wanted to charge me $50 a day extra for the privilege, this I declined. It was b&b but it was a credit system so you had $9 per person for breakfast. But you are talking Las Vegas nothing is cheap. A small tub of oatmeal and a slice of cake was $8.13. You then Credit to room. I opted out of house keeping so was given $10 to spend in the hotel which could be used in Starbucks. I asked about the pool and it was closed. On returning I could have used the Internet but they didn’t say this was included I asked about the gym and she gave me a long list, not written, of how to get to it. A folder in the room with these details would have been nice. The concierge desk didn’t open till 10am if you asked someone in uniform near reception they would say you need to speak to them, not helpful. I felt as if I was pestering when asking questions about things. When checking in they didn’t even tell you when check out was. The best thing about this hotel was it was central to most things and it was clean and tidy and the breakfast could have been better.

I booked a room at Harrah's because of its central location on the strip and because they had a monorail station because my husband is disabled and walking too much can be very painful. When we arrived we found out their monorail station was closed due to construction and we would have to catch it on the fourth floor of the garage at the hotel next door (20 minute walk) We were charged $30 to check in 4 hours early. We went up to our room only to find that there was no fridge, no microwave, and no coffee pot. This meant we had to get dressed and go downstairs and pay $5 every morning for a cup of coffee and with it costing us an average of $50 per meal, were not able to keep and prep some snacks/meals in our room. Also, construction woke us up every morning. We brought these issues up with desk staff and were dismissed. I will never stay at Harrah's ever again. and would seriously consider not staying at any other Caesar properties either.

The new management of the Caesar's Entertainment properties (of which Harrah's is one) is wasting no time demonstrating that their lowest priority is their customers. What used to be a comfortable, cozy casino with friendly staff and a welcoming environment is being sacrificed for every dime management can squeeze out of the place. The casino looks like a war zone with large sections curtained off to guests. Long time staff such as cocktail servers and slot staff are being replaced by new, cheaper staff who appear to have received little or no training. They implement policies that make no sense. For example, they removed glassware from the guest rooms and subsitute paper and plastic disposable cups. they claim it is part of their "green' policy. So while the rest of the world is trying to eliminate single use plastic containers, these geniuses think causing thousands of plastic cups to be disposed of each week is "going green."
By the way, the taxi commission just found a new way to fleece visitors. Taxis are still metered in town. However, a new rule establishes a flat fee to go from a strip hotel to the airport (or from the airport to the hotel). From Harrah's the fee is $27, which is almost double the metered rate.

Admirably Harrahs has a program where to save the environment they will give you a $10 voucher for food at the casino if you opt out of daily housekeeping. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us their policy is you have to phone the main desk and schedule a housekeeping appointment. Putting the sign on the door "please service room" does nothing. Then we had a hotel "ambassador" barge into our room at 2:30 in the afternoon while we were resting to do a "safety inspection" and fart around on our room phone. This happened twice and they still didn't tell us to call the desk for a housekeeping appointment. Then we found out that even though we are guests of the hotel parking is still $15 PER DAY. We were told that is policy now but we could park at Treasure Island or the Palazzo for free. WTF? The last wonderful thing was the extra $277 dollars ($39.98 PER DAY) in "resort fees" that was not told to us at check-in and was a surprise at check-out. Apparently "everyone is doing that now" according to the desk staff. Well....that doesn't make it right.

Nice renovated room in the Mountain Tower that exceeded my expectations. Lots of lights and plugs and marble floors when you walk in that made it feel nice. I really didn’t appreciate the thermostat in the room as it said the room was at 68 but really wasn’t lower than 72. I lowered it to 66 and it still never clicked on. I suppose this is a way for Harrahs to save a little money during the summers. The unit also made a noise that sounded like water running down a drain throughout the night (nothing that $15 earplugs from the lobby gift shop couldn’t help!)

The shower was clean and nice looking but the shower head was placed at right about 6 feet and would only shoot down so i had to duck under the water for every shower which made for a horrible shower every day. It’s also worth mentioning that the water pressure is a mere trickle as it comes out (at least it was hot!) but this is a common problem in other Vegas resorts on the strip so I wasn’t too surprised.

This is my second time staying at this property. We mainly stay here for the comp rooms that we are able to get and for the location. We got to the hotel at 2:00pm on a Tuesday and was told by the front desk that if I wanted to check in right now, that they would charge me an extra $10 per room for checking in early since check-in was not until 4:00 (we had two rooms). I felt like we were being penny pinched! We check in early all the time at the Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City, and we are never asked to pay an early check in fee. We were tired from our long trip so we just paid the early check in fee.

Our room was a valley non-smoking king. Large comfortable room that did not smell like smoke. No refrigerator in the room but it had a very nice vanity area with a lighted mirror. Whoever designed this room did not clearly think it through. There is a large glass door that slides between the bathroom and the closet. In order to access the closet, the bathroom door must be closed. Doesn't seem like a big deal but it is when you're constantly sliding this heavy glass door back and forth. Because it's a glass door, there is no lock on the inside of the bathroom. The open shower concept was not a good design either. Shower water gets all over the floor.

Dealers in this casino are fun and friendly. Enjoyed playing craps and blackjack here but the drinks they serve while gambling are terrible! You're better off drinking bottled beer. The piano bar is fun and entertaining and a nice break from gambling.

There is some construction going on in the hotel but it really didn't interfere with anything. I don't appreciate being harassed by vendors inside the hotel who want to give me samples of soap or hand cream and time share vendors asking me if I'm going to be in town for long. This happens every day, several times a day and is extremely annoying!

Pool area doesn't get much sun during the day. You'll find yourself chasing the sun to different lounge chairs over the course of the day. Main pool is large and nicely heated. On our second day we decided to go to Caesars Palace and pay $50 to rent a queen size daybed at their beautiful Venus pool. It was worth every penny and full sun the entire day.

Ate at the oyster bar one night, was not impressed and would not go back. Do not wait on line at Starbucks in the morning with 30 other people to get your coffee. Walk over to the food court there is another coffee area that sells delicious LaVazza coffee and all kinds of specialty coffee drinks. Prices are pretty much the same and there's never more than three people waiting.

Harrah's is a good property to stay at if you can get comp rooms. I wouldn't spend too much time or money during your stay here because you have so many other Caesar properties to explore in Vegas.

New rooms are truly beautiful however Party town Vegas and loud music can be heard in my room in the Mountain tower till early morning. Just know resort fees have doubled to 39.99 a night, parking is no longer free.. it is $15. a night despite all the construction. Guessing they are trying to make improvements but they don't compensate their guests in anyway... but they are sorry. I am sure once all the construction inside and outside is done it will be lovey. Over the years I have stayed at Harrah's Las Vegas at least three times a year and I have always liked the location on the strip and because it was easy to get in and out of and guessing eventually it will be that way again.

The check in was very simple and easy at the kiosk. I only had one issue when it came to cleanness and the way the hotel handed it was not feasible or acceptable. The supervisor that took the call initially did not apologize and offered no real solutions. I would recommend you arrive to the hotel early enough to check the room out or call in advance and ask for the manager for housekeeping to ensure all your needs are met. We discovered human feces on the toilet and blood stains on the ceiling.

Without knowing the exact context of where you've seen this: a quick search around implies that is "Section A"? You didn't typo with two A's did you? I also found another events sales page that lists Section AA as the "orchestra right" area (stage left)

There are only a few hotels/casinos that do not allow guests under 21. Harrah's is not one of them. The only problem comes in when walking through the property. You must be 21 to walk through any area that contains gaming. That includes slots, tables, or the sportsbook. Other than that, you are fine.
