The RI allows you to stay near the Strip, and close to attractions thanks to the monorail, without being right in the middle of the action. Breakfast was good and the rooms are clean and spacious. The monorail is a short walk from the property so getting around is not a problem- you can park your car near your room and get around without worries about parking and traffic. The rooms are located in separate buildings which allows you to avoid often noisy interior hallways and rooms near elevators. However, you do have some noise from the parking lot as people come and go. If you are lucky, this will be brief and minimal, however, if guests and their friends spend a lengthy time around their vehicles, you will have your sleep disturbed if you are a light sleeper. Definitely pack ear plugs if this is a concern. As always, call the front desk and let them know that there are loud guests around who are less than considerate and give them a chance to resolve the issue. There is a pool and spa to use, along with a very nice outdoor seating area to enjoy. While eating breakfast outside, I watched a homeless man jump the fence and walk into the spa after first testing the temperate of the pool and not finding it to his liking. He swished around in the spa a few minutes (fully clothed) before opening the gate and walking through it, allowing him to clean himself and his clothes at the same time. I decided not to partake of the pool facilities after witnessing this. Stay again? Perhaps. …
We were supposed to stay in this property 3 nights, 2 rooms from December 26-29 2021 but on the first night someone tried to steal our car and even though they did not succeed they stole valuables from the car. they have no cameras, not enough security and in the back of the property they have a big fence with a broken lock and on the wall there's this fence with a big gap that is supposed to protect the guests, a big chunk of this metal fence that has been cut from a long time ago. (see photos) The response from the Marriott was horrible, they didn't care at all about this, they blamed us for this, because they said they have security runs trough the property at night. (I did't see anyone) If you stay here, be VERY CAREFUL, because you are at your own, I just hope they fix this because someone can get hurt. I will never stayed at any Marriott hotel at all, they sucked.…
I know you get what you pay for. This hotel was not cheap - It was cheap-er. My expectations for the Marriot brand was crushed after experiencing 2 nights at this hotel. Walkways were reeking of marijuana smoke. Entrance and exit from the lobby to your hotel room is funky. If you think it is convenient for you to take the monorail from this hotel like mentioned in many posts, think again! It was the only reason why we booked at this hotel. Navigating the monorail was a nightmare! Not the hotel’s fault, I know. I digress. The front desk staff was the best but that was not enough for me to stop writing this review.
At the front desk Lauren was delightful and helpful. Close to monorail and convention center access to the Wynn hotel easy on and off Freeways. Close restaurants and the new Resorts World Casino. Lots of parking for $15 a night. Quiet place and you have a bbq available to cook your meals outside
This hotel was clean and an excellent value. It is across the street from the convention center (no convention at the time of our stay) and a monorail stop. Our room had a full kitchen. The hotel did offer complimentary breakfast, but are strict with the hours. Coffee is not out all day, so if you want it go before breakfast ends.
When I first arrived, I was taken back by the small lobby area. It was 115 degrees and when I found out there were no inner hallways I was disappointed. My room was a really good size and it was actually a really nice property. We had several family members staying at this location and we all really enjoyed the property. On one afternoon, we were able to use the BBQ area to all gather and cook dinner. They offer breakfast each morning. It is a wide selection with healthy options. The only drawback is there are no restaurants on this property. You have to leave the property for lunch or dinner. They do offer a full kitchen with everything you need to cook in your room. The staff at the property was great. Everyone I encountered was nice and friendly.
Our employer booked the rooms for 30+ coworkers. All have a studio apartment setup with a full kitchen, queen bed and a sofa bed. No real issues but the initial construction skimped a bit. I have a lower room and my upstair neighbor sounds like an elephant walking above me. Oh well. Another issue is the marijuana smokers outside in the evening (only a few). Since it's legal for recreation and the hotel is non smoking........ Directly across the street from the convention center. Not sure if I would select this hotel on my own.
This hotel is past it's prime and is not being maintained. Exterior door was missing the sweep potentially allowing bugs and other critters in. Rotten interior mouldings in bath area as a result of water damage. Dirty walls and doors. Just not in the best of shape.
We were playing in a soccer tournament that had stay & play requirements & this is where our team ended up. I have stayed at many Marriotts over the years & still maintain silver status and this one was disappointing. The property is tired & dated. Many posts say recent $5M renovation? Not sure where the money went. Our room was dark & smelled musky. Every moment we could have the sliding door open to air it out, we did so. Every room is a queen bed & fold out couch with no other options (other than a 2-bedroom significant upgrade). The pull out couch was terrible but with only 1 bed & 2 adults, my son was forced to sleep there. The queen bed was fine. If you need a kitchen, this would be an okay option. For the location, you absolutely need an in-room safe, but they aren’t provided. You could see daylight through the door & door casing & it seemed like maybe the door had even been kicked in before as it didn’t secure well (3 other parents told me exact same thing about their room/door/lock). The kids enjoyed the pool & unfortunately the hot tub was closed during our stay (pool was not heated). The breakfast is decent with a good variety of options offered. The staff was courteous in my limited interactions. Because there was a tournament & convention in town, we could have stayed at nicer properties on the strip for cheaper & I wish we would have. I wouldn’t stay here again. …
We picked this property because our pup needs green grass and wouldn’t do well with all the lights and glitz on the strip. This may be an older RI but it is nicely updated, clean and comfortable. The property is well lit and we did not notice any security concerns- sure, there may have been a few rough looking guests but no basis for any further judgement. There were also contractors, families, sports teams etc. very convenient to the convention center and a few major resorts and only a $10 Uber from the heart of the strip. The staff was especially friendly and professional. The night clerk answered all my questions about the area and made good recommendations- her daytime counterpart graciously found a way for us to stay an extra night when the flu hit hard and fast. Can you get a $40 room on the strip......sure, are the major resorts more fun and have more to offer....sure. BUT if you want to enjoy Vegas and escape the neon jungle at night, this is a great spot…
