We made a reservation on Saturday nt 02/04/2023 because we had family in town for a funeral who was staying at Sunset Station and we wanted to stay longer with them. Joshua and Tyra at the front desk were so kind to us (not even knowing the situation) professional, friendly, and just such a good vibe! I used to work front desk on the strip so I can appreciate wonderful customer service especially when its late at night on a weekend! There was live music from that beautiful center bar with all the colors on the ceiling which was great! The room was really nice ... and the next day we ate at the Brassfork and Warren was out waiter and he was ontop of everything! Just all around an amazing experience! We will be back on Valentines day and the weekend of the 17th now, and we live aaaaaaall the way in the SW, by where Durango Station is being built. But when you get amazing service its worth the trip! Thank you so much to every single person who we came across, BUT THE STARTING POINT, OUR FIRST POINT OF CONTACT...WAS JOSHUA , AND THEN TYRA!!!! All the love and light and appreciation to them! Thank you Thank you!!!…
Brenda and Jenny at the main bar are amazing. Always a great time! I will visit the bar/them anytime I'm back at Sunset Station. The bar area is beautiful, plenty of screens for the games and machines.
Vegas is fast becoming an expensive place to gamble. This casino had $10 face up pai gow, which is our game of choice. On the strip you can’t find less than $25. First visit here, easy drive from the strip. Also had some of our old slot machines, which have become extinct at other casinos. Loved this place.
I was a repeat customer of stations with gambling and hotel status. Until one night a security hard informed me I was trespassed for something that happened in 2019. Now they informed me of this in 2022 mind you I have been gambling and staying in hotel the whole time leading up to this. Now every time I call them last that is head of security she always says I will research it or I'm still in the list. I already know that I'm calling too see if I can get the response lifted. So if you don't want to be here by security and l followed around like you're a criminal I would find a better casino killer Sam's town.
Have..stayed..here.many..times.8..miles.from…the.strip..convenient..location..for..traveling..to.nearby..sites.Free.parking…casino..bowling..alley..pool..bars…and….restaurants…Beautiful…rooms..with..comfy..beds..and….very…reasonably…priced…Would…highly..recommend!
The beds are so comfortable at Sunset Station. The rooms are always clean and fresh smelling. Great location if you want to go shopping. All the restaurants have very good food. I ate at Sonoma Cellar and the food was amazing. I also love the Italian restaurant Pasta Cucina. Lots of places for lunch in the food court. There is bowling and Regal shows. My favorite is the gambling. Loose machines compared to the strip. I have a host there and she is very accommodating. Kudos to Sonia. I come every two months from N.Y. and I always stay here.
Stayed 3 nights in a mini suite and everything was very good. Nice place to stay off the Strip for older couples. Good places to eat in the hotel and many places within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Came for a pool visit with my friend on a birthday trip to Vegas and decided to grab a couple drinks and enjoy the sun. Paid my bill and left, Jose the “manager” decided to run my card information for several unauthorized charges to a grand total of almost 400$ while tipping himself a good 80 dollars. Dealing with fraud and getting my money back but this establishment had the nerve to send the fraudulent receipt as “proof” with no authorization information on it or details proving that I authorized it like my actual transaction had on the receipt. To top it all off I called after I noticed the fraudulent charges and they told me Jose was the manager of the pool bar and when I spoke to him he assured me he would resolve it and would call me back, I called them multiple times and he never called me back so it wasn’t to my surprise when I saw on the fraudulent receipt that he was the server listed. DO NOT USE A CARD and pay with CASH! Better yet take your money and go somewhere worth spending it because aside from the experience the establishment was poor and unkept!…
It is August 22nd, 2022. My sister and I brought her 12 year-old grandson to Sunset Station as the last vacation before school starts. Today’s temperature will exceed 105 degrees. We went down to the pool at 9:00 this morning expecting the pool to be open per the hotel’s website and hotel personnel. At 9:10 we called to find out why the pool was not open. After being transferred to hotel security, I was told that the pool does not open until 11:00 because “the kids are back in school” and “that they would send someone to change the sign.” Everyone waiting to go to the pool were as disgusted as we were. We then complained to the front desk and we were told that “someone forgot to change the sign, but the pool does open at 9:00 on the weekends.” Well, whoop de doo. It’s the middle of summer, 105 degrees, but the pool is not open. You will be happy to learn that they changed the sign to read: pool hours 11:00 to 6:00 for a loss to us of three hours. Mr/Ms Pool Manager, here’s your sign: ASININE.…
I'm quite undecided about the hotel. My stay began with a room which smelled like cigarettes as soon as you turned the AC on. They helped me swiftly by providing me with a new room. The cigarette smell is gone. However, the wifi in this room is horrible. As I am writing this the internet page still hasn't loaded entirely yet. I was working at the pool all day with my laptop and the wifi there is better than in my room. The wifi in the other room worked perfectly as well. The only solution they can give me is to upgrade to 'premium' wifi for 8 dollars... I think that's just a little embarrassing. Anyway, the pool is okay. There are plenty of restaurants in the hotel to enjoy and if you like gambling there is a lot to do as well I suppose.
