Powered by AI
Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa and Casino presents a varied experience, with some guests praising its serene pool and relaxed atmosphere, while others are dissatisfied with the dated rooms and subpar drink options. The hotel's cleanliness is generally commended, though inconsistencies with housekeeping have been noted. Spaciousness is a positive aspect for certain rooms, yet many suggest a need for refurbishment and question the value, pointing out excessive fees and service charges.
The service quality is inconsistent, with reports of both outstanding and poor encounters. Its location offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to events, which is a highlight for visitors.

Detailed Reviews
Stayed over the new year for a few days.
Cons: Internet was down the entire day for the 1st day. Called 3 times and couldn't be fixed but stll charged $45 resort daily fee; There are two Tesla level 2 charger but you have to let them valet park you so I didn't use it. Valet is complimentary and I just don't trust valet.; We asked for a view room even though, half of the hotel is empty but the person at the front desk said it's completely full. He could just tell me that I didn't pay for a view room and cannot offer an upgrade but instead have to lie; The mate service did not replace any of the shampoo on both days. Had to call down twice and waited 35 min for them to bring it up.
Pros - Buffet is not the top 5 in Vegas but for that price, I think it's a very good deal. Ate there 3 times. My kids like the food court including Philly Steak sandwich, Fat burger, and a few others with very reasonable price.; The airflow in the hotel is pretty good. Most of the casino hotels in Vegas smell like an astray specially in the gambling area. Either GRV has a good air filter system or there are not too many smokers at this hotel. Dealers are friendly and a few $5 blackjack tables which I like.; The pool ground is beautiful and hardly anyone there after the new year.; Parking is free and there are two, one on each side of the hotel.
Location is about 20 minutes from the strip. Will I go back? yes but only with a discount price and not the regular 200+ a night. Add the $45 resort fee and you could stay in a much better hotel for that rate.

My wife and I traveled to LV to scope out the possibility of moving to the area. We chose an off strip property on purpose to get a feel for the suburbs. We chose GVR to get a feel for the Henderson area.
Our checking was straightforward and the King Balcony room was very nice. The Casino and restaurants are standard fare but admittedly, we didn't have an opportunity to try the high end steak house or seafood places but had planned to do so. We also enjoyed The District, an entertainment area adjacent to the resort.
Free internet was a pain, would force a new process every time you set your phone down or your computer went to sleep.
Our problems with GVR started when I suddenly became violently ill and was admitted to a Henderson hospital, where I ultimately stayed for 6 days! This required us to extend our 4 day visit multiple days through Christmas. This included our stay at GVR, so my wife had somewhere to live while I was getting better and finally cleared for travel.
My wife pleaded to hotel staff (Antonio at the front desk) for a reduced rate and they were rude, unsympathetic and forced her to move to a smaller room to get the reduced rate. We were not using the facilities (or the resort fee) at all, basically 1 person just sleeping and eating dinner there after leaving the hospital. She had to deal with moving all of our stuff to a different room, while her husband is in the hospital...in a strange city...during the holidays.
This was already a nightmare and became very expensive with hotel and rental car costs and finally the 2 - $600 1-way flights back home on Christmas night. This was the week leading up to Christmas and hotel was not full at all, Management had plenty of discretion to make our stay a little more comfortable with our circumstances but was unsympathetic and actually appeared skeptical. Maybe people lie about this to get a cheaper room but that is not our style and we could have easily proved it.
We do want to say that the valet and cleaning staff were outstanding and friendly, the valet/bellmen staff knew our situation and would ask my wife how I was doing every day. Top notch and we tipped them deservedly!

Me and my wife went here for a 5 day getaway pleasure for her /business for me kinda deal. The hotel is very clean, they scan temp. upon entry , the staff are nice and friendly.
Rooms were nicely appointed and very clean. Bathrooms are big and clean, the fault that I can see in the rooms are the showers, low pressure and the TV from the 1980's, it took forever to change channels, we even called the housekeeping to give us new batteries for the remote cause we were thinking the is the issue.
There are about 5 dining choices within the property and with an indoor food court that serves you cheaper meal options. Across the property is an outside mall type place called "The District" that has shopping for the wife and REI for the other half. More food choices as well ranging from fast eats or Lucille's BBQ and King fish among others, surely you will never be left hungry staying at this resort..
Going back in the hotel property the pools are big and the lounges are expansive. You can rent cabanas with a small lap pool that is separated to the main pool.
Overall a wonderful resort away from the strip but as I said in my title, there is a catch, and the catch is the $45.00 Resort Fee a night. If you are booking and getting a low rate, take that into account. Also, resort from the strip would charge you 25.00-35.00 a night.

I checked into the hotel on Friday the 19th for a two-day stay. They have seals on the door that state clean and sanitized once you enter the room the seal breaks. I entered my room too fine not just was it not sanitized but it wasn't clean. There were sticky candy light surfaces on the glass nightstand. There was ketchup on the desk actual ketchup stuck to the desk. When I went into the bathroom barefoot hair in debris stuck to my feet. I called the front desk to ask to speak to a manager where the phone just rang and went to a voicemail. I called back and the front desk guy inform me he would send a housekeeping supervisor up. So when the mail supervisor comes to my room he is equally as disgusted as I was. They send someone up who did a great job cleaning the room afterwards. This is not my first time staying there as I have more than 500 stays there. However this is my third time being disgusted at my choice. We already have to deal with the lack of the extras such as pen and pad, extra roll of toilet paper, and no mini bar, but please clean the rooms correctly.

My wife and I recently stayed at this beautifully designed and built hotel. We were really impressed by the elegance. Now as we travel a lot I am going to share the good, bad, and ugly. First the good. As I shared this is a gorgeous hotel and the rooms are lovely. The valets and bell staff are exceptional in their attention and customer service. Some of the bad’s you get to your room to find out there is No coffee maker or coffee tea etc and you have to go downstairs to the small Starbucks with one attendant and wait in long line to get your cup of over priced coffee. If you want to order a cup in your room it’s 10 bucks. The Starbucks has no breakfast food for this you have to walk quite a ways through a very smoky casino to the real Starbucks. Okay I know this sounds manini but for the price of the rooms it something we’ve come to expect.
Now the ugly: There was no access to the pool or jacuzzi at all. No sorry about that nothing. When we asked they simply smiled and said that’s right. When we asked if we could use the fitness center pool they said yes for 25 dollars. Now this is just bad business

Overall the location is great, it is away from the strip and that makes it very quiet. It is a very large layout and takes a bit to walk to areas from your room if you are near the end of a floor. I was here for business and most likely would not book it on my own, the clientele seemed to be all older. They do have $5 blackjack though. The WiFi is strong enough to stream without buying the “upgraded” package. The one minus is the lack of more than 1 convenience store on premises and that one is not open 24hrs so if you need something get it early.

First pandemic stay at our favorite hotel and very pleased with the steps taken to insure a clean, safe experience. Appreciated the temperature screening at every entry point. Valet and bellmen were extremely friendly, professional and courteous as was the desk clerk. She found us a low floor room so we could avoid elevator time, especially after we confronted a lady with a dog, not identifiable as a service dog, which would be a problem for my wife who has a pet allergy. The room was at the end of the hall, which we were told at check in; however, we didn't realize the end of the hall was next to the large highway sign and parking garage. Fortunately we weren't bothered by any noise or flashing lights from the sign. Room was clean and comfortable, refrigerator we requested took a couple of calls to receive. We were disappointed to find only 2 towels in the room for 2 people for a 4 night stay and had to call every day for more towels. Maybe had something to do with the Vid? Delicious and safe breakfasts at the Grand Cafe where the tables were well spaced out. Enjoyed sitting outside sipping cocktails taking in the beautiful grounds. Convenient location next to The District provided us with many outdoor dining choices. Other than losing on the gaming floor, which could have used some better cleaning, we had a great stay and we definitely will return on our next visit to Henderson.

Finally made it into the Green Valley Casino but it definitely will not be my last time. I know casinos are not up to full capacity right now but the Green Valley Ranch casino had a nice look to it and was very clean. They had a great selection of restaurants and the staff was very friendly. All of the trash cans were fitted on top with Clorox wipes dispensers which were located all around. Nice selection of games and nice looking casino for locals who want to stay away from all the visitors of the Las Vegas strip. I look forward to going back and doing an overnight and spa.

I’ve stayed here many times and have always had a great experience. My most recent trip was for business but my entire family came along as well.
Upon check in we decided to upgrade to one of their suites since it’s quite a bit larger than their average room and we were going to be staying for six days.
Suite was nice, great view, large enough for all of us, and they comped us a roll away bed which is normally $35 a night, so that was appreciated.
Unfortunately the next morning we woke up and the bathroom was flooding a bit. Luckily it was just water, but still unfortunate. One of the toilets was bubbling in one bathroom and next thing I know the other toilet in the other bathroom was overflowing. They were able to get us into another suite with the same exact set up within a couple hours, so that was good.
Here’s the poor experience, they never cleaned the room until we asked. One day out of six we called and had the room briefly cleaned by having them empty garbages and vacuum. Every other day we turned the light on to let them know we’d like to have them come in and clean and they never did. Only until our final day did they show up at 9 am to try and clean and that’s the day we didn’t have the light on to let them know. We had to ask for extra towels, TP, etc. throughout the week, but that was the housekeeping experience we had. Will stay here again, but hopefully management reads this and can figure it out.

Avoid! Seems like management is now using COVID as an excuse to save money. Spent 3 nights at The Cosmopolitan before our 4 nights here. Completely different experience. Here at check in we were told we would have to call for housekeeping everyday instead of telling them that we want it everyday. Then after calling and requesting we come back from a long day and the room isn’t made up. Needed a taxi, so called from the room and got switched around until ultimately no one answered. Went down from the room outside to the valet and asked for a taxi. Instead of getting a taxi, he gives me a number and tells me to call myself. Bought coffee in the lobby, head out to the pool and they tell us we can’t bring it into the pool area. We have to buy it from the pool. We both had a massage and my girl had a facial. They were enjoyable, but the desk attendant when we inquired about making the reservation was rude. I normally don’t post negative reviews, but was very disappointed with this resort and was surprised because of the many positive reviews.

I'm waaaay past the needing a crib stage, so sorry, I can't help.
All rental cars are a quick, bus ride from the airport. A free bus will take you to 7135 Gilespie. That is where you will also drop off your rental and bus back to the airport. The drive is easy.
Green Valley Ranch has a very nice extra-large lobby with a bar. it is perfect for business meetings. The Valet is free of charge for those staying at GVR.
