We stayed here one night on our trip from Denver to NC OBX. Would give 3 1/2 stars if possible. Easy access from I 70, yet very quiet. Nice pull thru sites for big rigs, offering the chance for a quick and easy stay. We stopped during Covid and pool was not operational, but playground was nice and grassy with updated equipment. There is also a catch and release pond on the property. Bathhouses could definitely use some updating but adequate. We are heading back to Denver in the fall and will definitely stop here again.
We were RVing from Florida to South Dakota so stayed at the Kan Do for one night while driving through Missouri. The location was convenient to the highway but off the highway enough to where you did not hear road noise. We did not use any of the amenities. The site was a pull thru and had full hookups so we did not have to unhook the 5th wheel from our truck. For a one night stay off the road, it was decent and reasonable. We'd have no reason, however, to spend more time at this RV park than that.
Very friendly, and great price. Conveniently located between St. Louis and Columbia, right off I-70. Campsites are large, and many with full hookups (bring a Y for the water). We picked this campground because it had a pool (very hot in July), and WiFi. However, both of these were not available while we were there. Pool was empty, and needed repairs. Wifi was not working, and cell coverage was minimal. If these were working, I would have given a 4 star or better. Visited a couple of state parks that offered swimming, and they were very nice. Campground needs some updating, but facilities were clean and functional.
Convenient to rt 70. The campground itself had lots of trees and was quite pretty and the owner was very nice. The spaces were relatively cramped but typical. There was no table for the spot, but that seemed to be the norm for this campground. It was off season so I can’t comment about other amenities...but the restroom and shower facilities were in poor shape. They appeared dirty and mildewed and in dire need updating. If showers and restrooms are important to you, keep moving, otherwise not a bad place to stay.
The camp sites with full hookups are very close together & the first one the owner put us in we were unable to access the water or electricity. The sites without sewer hookups are nicer & have more privacy. WiFi does NOT work. I asked her if she had WiFi & said there is no password for it, we were unable to connect anything to the WiFi.
