By mid-July our family was ready for a vacation! We live in LA so we wanted to get away from the busy city and go somewhere a little (or a lot) more laid back. Villa Oleandra at Los Almedros was just what we were looking for! I wish I had more photos, but we were just busy having fun and relaxing! The location was perfect, where we could walk to town and walk to the beach. The kids loved the pool and got in it every night after our day's activities. The staff at Los Almedros were so friendly and helpful. We love having our own kitchen so we don't have to worry about where to go for dinner after a long day out. The Kitchen had everything you could possibly need: pots and pans, cutting boards, and even a single person blender to make frozen coffee in the morning! It included pantry essentials like salt, pepper, olive oil and soap and dishwasher detergent. We also received tips from the owners before arriving on where to buy groceries on our way into town. The unit has laundry and provides laundry detergent, so we could pack less! We loved how convenient the location was to the bustling town of Sayulita, but also tucked away enough so it was quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend staying at Villa Oleandra at Los Almedros, for your next vacation. We are already ready to go back!

Stayed in the Ceilito Lindo Penthouse Suite with my family (5 adults) for 1 week and couldn’t have asked for a better place!
Very spacious living area, with 3 large bedrooms that are nicely separated to allow for privacy between each. The upstairs balcony was beautiful- we spent a ton of time up here eating meals, hanging out and watching the sunset. Overall very quiet building.
The location in town was great, about a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 or so into the main downtown are. We were happy to still be close to town, but far enough to not hear the noise as the downtown area is quite loud at night.
Kitchen was well equipped (all the utensils you need, blender, coffee maker etc) There is in-suite laundry + detergent, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas provided. Maid service almost daily was a nice touch.
The wifi does not work well here, we weren’t bothered by it but some may be.
Big pool area with plenty of chairs to lounge on.
Communication with the property manager Alex was super easy.
Overall great place to stay and would definitely recommend!

My family has stayed at Los Almendros for 9 years and go back year after year for the beauty, the peacefulness, the kindness of staff and escape to paradise. Being on the North side of town, it's quiet and only a short walk into town, having stayed in various rooms which were all great. The daily staff of housekeepers, gardeners, pool cleaners are SO friendly and helpful. I also haven't met anything but the nicest renters from varied placed who totally agree with their stays in paradise. A very short walk to the beach. Pool classes varied days. When I send photos of my enviornment there I don't get sympathy. Well worth the price.

Sayulita is such a friendly place to visit with SO many special events. Los Almendros is a short walk to town with great places to discover nearby and the beach close. The environment is quiet and peacefilled, incredibly clean and orderly. The staff everywhere, housekeeping/maintenance/office are very kind and friendly and helpful. Having stayed in different offerings, over more than 7 years, twice a year, the environments provide washers and dryers, great kitchen offerings to cook in your room, outstanding pool environment and quiet and peaceful. The balcony and open patio rooms available just add to the peaceful atmosphere.

We were in Villa Heidi. Everything was perfect. Condo is well stocked for cleaning supplies, paper goods, and cooking equipment. So many times we've walked into a condo with a coffee maker and a washing machine with no coffee filters and no detergent. Here that was not the case. Visiting with other guests around the pool was also a bonus. Only negative was from our adult guests staying in the second bedroom. The twin beds are on wooden platforms and creak loudly when you move. Los Almendros is well located for a 10 min walk to beach and 15 min walk to town. Town is pretty lively so that is close enough for us.

Everything was great with the stay. The location is great as it's close enough to the main strip and the beaches but far enough that noise isn't issue. The rooms and grounds were very clean and safe. Staff all super friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Our two bedroom condo was very spacious and comfortable. The living room doors opened up to the balcony overlooking the pool and garden areas. This made it very open and Tropical , the unit was very clean, comfortable furniture all appears to be updated. Staff is very friendly and the grounds are well-kept. you are a short walk to a few good restaurants as well the beach. We rented a Golf cart as we had a bar 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter with us. It’s allowing us to tour the area. Our stay was very enjoyable. There are also 2 barbecue pits on sites and a large area where families can get together to enjoy a barbeque at the end of the day. The owners are all very friendly and make you feel at home. Thank you to the Los Alamsndras group!!!

A perfect place to stay in Sayulita for just about anyone, couples, families, business, etc., except maybe party animals. It is at the north end, very close to the beautiful, quiet part of the beach but only about a ten minute walk to downtown. There are a few cute little restaurants very close, right on the beach, and several along Avenue Palmar within a few minutes. It was very hot and humid in July but close to the water and shade quite lovely. One could always escape to the well air conditioned condo. We loved our stay and hope to be back again sometime soon.

Such a breathtakingly beautiful environment, Sayulita, Los Almendros, the beach and friendly smiles and greetings everywhere. NO question is ever a problem. From check-in, the housekeeping staff, the gardening staff are all SO friendly and helpful. The night guard is present, smiling and there if you have any needs or questions. The rooms are SO quiet. There is a swimming pool Zumba class that is such fun in what is an incredibly pristine pool. I was there for two weeks and only regret was that it wasn't longer. My brother came for a visit while I was there and his first visit won't be his last.

Truly loved our stay at Los Almendros, The location was ideal. Walking distance into town but far enough away to enjoy quiet at the end of a busy day. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in Penthouse Golodrina. It's views were incredible. We loved the architectural details of the unit and the complex over all. We found the complex clean and the pool fantastic. The pool would be really great for families with small children as it had sections at varying depths from only a few inches deep to about 4-5 feet at the deepest. Patio space in sun or shade and many clean washrooms at the pool area. The unit itself needed some attention in regards to the age of the appliances although they did work. Found the beds to be a little on the firm side and less clutter in the closets would have been good as I needed to remove a few things( a ladder, multiple back packs and old art) to be able to hang some clothing. We considered an all inclusive in PV but were so glad we chose Sayulita instead. It had lots to offer in the way of restaurants, beaches, markets, etc. The buses were easy to catch and go to many near by communities for those who want to venture farther.

The wifi really only works at the pool (we were on the second floor and it barely, if ever, worked). If you want a view of the water you need to be on the 3rd floor - the second floor gets a view of the palms at the shoreline but not the sand or water. There are also several buildings that surround the pool so I imagine the closer the better for the monitor but if it relies on wifi you are probably out of luck.
There are more places to choose from in the Sayulita area.
