The apartments are in a wonderful location between Vis town & Kut village, an easy walk from both but closer to Kut, where there are good food stores & restaurants. We stayed at Nautic apartments for 8 nights in Apt A3 with its lovely views out to sea & to the village of Kut. The room was a good size, very clean with a really comfy bed & plenty of storage. The kitchen area was quite small but this seems to be standard in the Split area of Croatia. The 4 apartments share a very large terrace with stunning views - a wonderful place to have breakfast & a drink in the evening. It's a good way to meet the other guests & the area looks magical lit up at night. The hosts, Drazen & his wife, really went out of their way to be hospitable - we were picked up from the ferry, & driven back there very early in the morning - nothing seemed too much trouble. Drazen gave us information concerning round the island boat trips & other things to do, & excellent recommendations for restaurants in Kut, Vis & Komiza. He even changed his plans so that he could give us a lift to Komiza so that we could take an early morning boat trip from there after our trip from Vis was cancelled. All in all, this is a lovely place to stay.

First of all, come to Vis! It is a lovely island - we are so glad we spent some time here. Second, stay at the Nautic Apartments. Drazen was responsive by email when we made our reservation and continued to be responsive and helpful throughout our stay. When we hopped on an earlier ferry and emailed him from the boat, he met us at the port at the earlier time, no problem. He also took us back to meet the 7am boat for our departure - now that's service!

Nautic Apartments is on the Kut side of Vis town, which makes it worthwhile to pay for the pick up/drop off service, so you don't have to drag your luggage 10 minutes. But the apartment's location is a plus - it's in a cute part of town, near some great restaurants, and it's a pleasant, scenic stroll to anywhere else in Vis (20 minutes max to the farthest end of town).

The Apartment was clean, spacious enough, the shower had good water pressure, and we slept great to the sound of the waves just 10 feet away. We even used the kitchenette one night to make some pasta and used the fridge to keep milk for our breakfast cereal. (There's a grocery store just four minutes to the left of the Nautic Apartments.) They also have a friendly family dog who is available for petting by request. (A big amenity when you miss your dog at home!) The four guest rooms are located on one hall on the middle floor of the building, and the door at the end of the hall opens onto a large shared balcony with several tables and a fantastic view in three directions.

Once we got to Vis, we found that the bus to Komiza ran pretty infrequently, but there are many tourist agencies in town that will be happy to rent you a car, motorbike, or bicycle to get where you want to go (though if you want to leave Vis town, you probably want something with a motor - this island is hilly!). We loved seeing the various beaches around the island and took a boat trip to the blue cave on Bisevo. But we also loved reading on the balcony at Nautic Apartments and watching the sunset and sunrise from our room's window. You can't overrate a good balcony! Or good service. I would definitely stay here again.

Staying at the Nautic apartments in Vis was a really special experience. Vis was absolutely our favorite place in Croatia (we also visited Split and Dubrovnik). Vis island is picturesque, romantic and quaint - perfect for those who want to escape the large crowds of the mainland. Drazen has four apartments that are perched over the sea in between Old Vis town and the marina. We were fortunate to stay in one of two apartments with a view, A2, although all apartments have access to the porch. The views are sensational and that alone would be enough for 5 stars. But it was by Drazen's hospitality that took it to the next level and is a testament to the kindness of the people of Vis. He was responsive to emails, picked us up from the ferry even though it was a short walk to the apartment, and helped us get reservations at one of the best restaurants on the island, Roki's. This was a memorable trip!

We stayed here during our summer holiday on Vis, a lovely little harbour town on the lovely island of Vis. The room was clean and had a nice view of the harbour (you can't get any closer to the water!), but there were a few issues that left us cold. We were picked up from the ferry terminal and given a very detailed and helpful description of the island, but after that the service was hard to deal with. We were told that the bathtub was "self-standing", meaning that it could lightly flood the bathroom when you take a shower. No problem. But there weren't extra towels to clean up the mess, and when we asked for more, we were told "we only change towels after 7 days" (we stayed 6). That's a long time to have to deal with only one towel, especially when you're going swimming / showering etc etc etc. At the end, it felt pretty dirty.

Another evening I wanted to go out to the balcony to watch the sunset, and a woman (I'm assuming the wife of the owner) gave me a really hard time about walking on her freshly cleaned floors. I'm sorry to have disturbed her cleaning, but I don't think I should be made to feel bad about spending time on the lovely balcony, especially when it is open to the guests.

I always hesitate to write bad or mediocre reviews because I know that on a small island like Vis, every traveler and guest helps pay the bills. I think the Nautic Apartments are a great place, but for the price, I'd like to see a bit more service and comforts, especially when directly asked.

Vis, however, is a great place to visit with some fantastic restaurants. I like that the apartment is really directly in between the two sides of the city (5 minute walk to one side and 10 minutes to the other). There are two small beaches within walking distance (20 minutes or so), and you can swim right out of the front door of the apartment if you choose.

We stayed here for 2 nights and everything about it was fantastic. The views at sunset from the terrace were spectacular and as the apartments are situated approx 1km from the ferry port, this can be enjoyed in the perfect tranquility whilst boats moor up for the evening.

We stayed in A1 and the views from the shuttered windows were equally as impressive.

There are great restaurants within a stones throw but the apartments also have facilities to eat on the terrace which we would thoroughly recommend.

Drazen was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome. Couldn't speak highly enough about this apartment. When we come back to Vis we will be sure to stay again!

We have had a wonderful stay in Vis, and the Nautic Apartment was the perfect place for us to stay. The view is absolutely lovely, and the sound of the sea lapping on to the shore is very soothing. The apartments are clean and pleasant, and we spent each evening on the pretty terrace drinking wine and playing cards while the sounds of church bells occasionally rang out in the background. Really a great spot, well-priced, and one that we would return to if we are fortunate enough to come back to this lovely island. Marina and Drazen are wonderful hosts.

Drazen arranged for our pickup from the ferry as he was unable to make it himself. Upon arrival he greeted us with a bottle of his own wine grown on a plot of own his family owns in the interior of the island. The room was spacious, with a big bathroom and Jacuzzi tub as well as a kitchenette stocked with everything one would need for a short stay.

The building itself is outside the main part of town. It's a bit quieter and about a 10 minute walk from the "downtown." There is a grocery store, pastry shop, baker all within a short walk. There is also an excellent restaurant, where the tables are arranged in the garden of a several hundred year old house, just around the corner.

Drazen advised us that the best way to see the island was to rent either a car or a motor bike as the island is extremely hilly. We took his advice and rented a scooter from a place a few minutes away. With me and my girlfriend on scooter it struggled on some of hills, but we ultimately got to the town on the other side of the island, Komiza. It's a bit smaller than Vis, but a nice town for a short visit. We continued to the interior of the island and found the road that leads to the top of Mt. Hum, the highest point of the island. We stopped at a path that lead up to the cave from which Josef Tito and the English maintained a command post during World War II. We left the bike at the base of the path and walked the rest of the way as the road becomes quite steep. The view from the top is amazing. Looking west we could see the outlines of land that we believed was Italy.

On the way down the mountain we pulled into a local farm. A woman greeted us and took us into her store where she sold her own wine, olive oil, liquor, etc. We bought a few liters of wine and had lunch with her under her grape vine.

We went for swims by the apartments when we returned. Drazen's dog, Uggi, sat with us while we read. For dinner that night we made pasta with some fish I bought at the local store, and some fresh bread w/ olive oil. The patio looks out on the water and is incredible.

Drazen is an excellent host. Vis and Nautic Apartments was the highlight of our trip to Croatia! Definitely a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at Nautic Apartments. We stayed in Apt. 3 which is newly renovated. It had basic but clean and functional amenities and a wonderful sea view. It's a 15 minute walk from the ferry port which was perfect for us; we loved being close to the town center, yet far enough from it's hustle and bustle. There are a small market and a bakery 3 minutes walking from the apartment; we enjoyed buying fresh pastries every morning and having breakfast on the beautiful sunny terrasse. The owners also have the cutest and friendliest dog ever! We highly recommend this apartment if you're looking for a good place to stay in Vis, which is, by the way, truly an island paradise!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks. Vis is a beautiful place. Completely relaxing. The only issue we had was with the locals appearing to want to rip off tourists at every opportunity (particularly in restaurants). Nautic apartments is a wonderful place to stay. Drazen and Marina are very welcoming, and the apartments themselves are clean and perfectly located. I only wish this place was a secret we could keep to ourselves!

Stayed with my girlfriend and babygirl in preseason in late april. The apartment was clean and just as described. The terrasse is amazing and since we were the only guests, we got it to our self. The location is near the old part og Vis Town called Kut which is the nicest part of town. The equipment in the kitchen could be better, you have to be a bit creative if you want to cook with the selection of pot, pans and so on... But all in all I find this to be a cheap and very good apartment on Vis.
