This was the nicest Fairfield hotel we’ve ever stayed at! A bunch of us friends are traveling for work and had 2 rooms for 7 of us. The rooms were big and had plenty of space, comfortable beds, and huge bathrooms for all of us to be able to get ready. The breakfast space was amazing and the food was great! The staff was so helpful and nice. This was the cleanest hotel i’ve ever stayed in!
When I made the reservation it was more for convenience than comfort. It was a small Fairfield, with very large rooms, extremely comfortable beds & many amenities not found in hotels for triple the price. The breakfast (included) was more than adequate. The front desk staff were very accommodating & pleasant.
I love this place tucked away in the Sudbury suburb of Boston. Only 3 stories high, it blends in with the beautiful neighborhood. Friendly service and a large breakfast room separate from the lobby area. The wood floors were a little creaky so I hope I didn’t keep people awake below.
Very nice hotel. Spent four nights staying here to visit family in the area. It was wonderful. Very quiet, very restful. Very comfortable and clean. Would stay here again. Breakfast looked unappealing, so went elewhere to eat each morning, but otherwise a really perfect stay.
We are Marriott Gold Elite members and have stayed in a lot of Fairfield Inns. This was one of the nicest. Easy check in around 6pm on a Friday night. Our room was quiet and the bed was comfy. The bathroom setup was probably the best I have ever seen at a Fairfield Inn. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and the area was kept very clean. There was no housekeeping service but we were only staying for 2 nights so it wasn't a big deal. The reason for 4 stars out of 5 may not affect everyone. I am hearing impaired. I can hear but sometimes speech is garbled. I always use closed captioning on the TV and rarely have a problem. The 1st night we could not get the captioning to work. The next morning, we told the front desk clerk. Another employee heard us and said that someone else had that problem too. The front desk clerk said that someone would be up that day to try to fix it. To our knowledge, no one ever came. We were gone most of the day, came back for a couple of hours and then out again in the evening. Nothing, no note or anything. It was now after 9pm Saturday night and didn't want anyone coming up then to look at it.…
Just a generic hotel. My grandfather helped pull the permitting to bring this hotel to the town of Sudbury, and so I had to check it out. They really did the bare minimum with the room, but that said, they did accommodate an early check-in. I don’t regret staying there, but it conclusively was kind of a depressing hotel room. I feel bad for the people that seem to live there.
This was, twice before, our favorite hotel in the area. But this time, what happened?? The beds are extremely high, and we literally have to jump up on the beds knees first. We could use a step stool. The remote for the tv didn’t work. Neither did the phone. And the refrigerator really didn’t get cold (I adjusted the interior dial). A very nice young man helped us out. He brought up a new phone and tv remote, checking to see if it worked. We’re disappointed overall.
The Fairfield inn is a clean and beautiful hotel a 5 minute drive from the wayside inn. It used to be the carriage house for the wayside inn which makes it a quaint place to stay. We were very lucky that they allow dogs to stay in the rooms for an additional fee as my parents’ dog has an anxiety problem. Additionally as it was my wedding weekend they gave us two coffee cups as a gift which was a very nice touch. What went badly was: • I had hired a bus because I was quoted $100 per trip for their shuttle to go the 1.1 MILES from the Fairfield Inn to the wayside inn. I hired a bus for 8 hours for the cost of 6 trips to them. • I had booked the two suites that they have in the hotel a year before my wedding. They double booked the room and said that I had to move into a different room. They gave me a discount so I wasn’t too worried about it. • However, some of my guests booked the hotel on points and they bumped them to a hotel in Natick, MA instead. As I had hired a bus to bring people back and forth to the hotel I can’t believe they actually overbooked the entire hotel. How does that even happen? To add insult to injury they didn’t tell these guests that they were bumping them until they got to the hotel – that they were bumping them to a different hotel 20 minutes away. Some of these guests were late to my wedding as a result.…
I live in Los Angeles but I'm from Framingham, MA which is close to Sudbury. My Brother stayed at this Inn first and told me about it - it's his go-to in the area. Our 90 year old Dad was in and out of the hospital during the week I was there. While he was in the hospital I stayed at the Inn and I've never experienced such compassion, kindness and professionalism at an Inn or Hotel and I've stayed at quite a few here in the States and abroad. It was a very stressful week for me but Billy Sue (Manager), Kristin (Sales Coordinator) and Carlos (front desk welcoming facilitator; my guess is he has another title - sorry Carlos!) took so much of the "edge" off. Additionally, the Inn itself is quaint yet modern with nicely appointed rooms and common spaces. A terrific full-on breakfast is included. Right down the street is the Wayfair Country Store, the Gristmill and other historic destinations that many flock to this area to see. I look forward to my next stay hopefully under better circumstances. THANK YOU SO MUCH BILLY SUE, KRISTIN AND CARLOS!!!…
Kristin, sales coordinator made me so welcomed. She went above and beyond to make my future stay the best I could ever have! She took a personal care of my reservation and I cannot thank her enough for being such a professional hospitality worker who truly enjoys what she does. Thank you thank you thank you Will recommend this place to my family and friends!
