Room was clean and the pull out desk was very useful for work. Front desk staff was not welcoming upon arrival or during our many other interactions. My room key had to be replaced 4 times in 4 days. I asked for a receipt to be sent to my email at checkout. I was told that this service was not working and given no solutions. When asked if they had a scanner for the hard copy, the email service was somehow now back. I was assured that an email was sent, but never received it. Her objective was to get me to go away. Check out was 2/17. The restaurant looked like it might be good, but of course it was not open. I asked when they would be open again and the front desk attendant told me “2 to 3 weeks maybe”. The gym was small with no air and the televisions had no signal. My room television would regularly lose video capabilities as well. If you’re here for a vacation and plan to jump on the train daily to downtown and don’t actually use any service at the hotel, the it’s a good place to stay and a quick walk to the T. If you are there for work like most of the occupants, good luck.…
We needed a hotel at 4 in the morning, due to a delayed flight, the very Kind night duty did everything to assist our group of 9, Made sure that we all got a room, the next day staff were just as helpfull, would def stay here again.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was convenient with the T just minutes away. The room was nice--clean. Breakfast in the hotel (not included in the price) was very good. We would most certainly stay again.
I was in town for business and wanted to stay an extra night on my own dime. I booked the hotel because its price on a third-party vendor was considerably cheaper than any other decent hotel near a T subway station. The hotel is older, but the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the furniture is good quality, and there is satellite TV with endless channels. The downsides were that the bathroom and carpet could use a renovation. They had free hot apple cider in the lobby at night. The hotel is in a blah, non-descript working class area in East Somerville. There is nothing around the hotel, but the area seems safe enough. The hotel is an 8-minute walk from the Sullivan Square T subway stop on the Orange Line, which runs every 10 minutes. A few stops, and you're in downtown Boston and can change to any of the other 3 subway lines. A pretty unmemorable hotel, but this is a very affordable place to stay while you visit Boston.…
This hotel was about at 15min drive to downtown Boston and a 35-40min drive to Salem, room was clean and nice. We came on this trip for a fall weekend getaway to see Salem and Boston and this was a great area to stay between the two and was cheaper priced compared to others
Myself and my cousin had both booked rooms at this hotel and both really liked the hotel. Slight issue with the heating, staff sorted the issue very quickly. Bar and restaurant service on the first night was very good. Spaghetti and meatball special very good. Hopefully will return soon.
My two sisters and I stayed in this hotel while attending a Bruno Mars concert at the MGM Music Hall, Fenway. When we arrived at the hotel, they front desk said that our reservation had been cancelled by someone who had all my sister's information. She had booked the hotel in May 2022 for a September stay. We were in the air en route to Boston when this occurred. They hotel put us in room 922. At 11:30 that night, someone tried to enter the room with a pass key. We were in our pj's and it scared us to death. We immediately call the Front Desk...the first 4 times we called...no one picked up the phone. On the 5th try, I got the Night Manager, and he was abrasive and rude. He said "Your room is supposed to be empty as you have checked out." I replied that this was not possible as we are standing right here talking to you. He said with much annoyance in his voice "I don't know what is going on.....I will check you in" and he hung up. My sister called again requesting we be put into a near by IHG property as we did not feel safe in this room/hotel. They never called us. We checked out, caught our plane back to Norfolk, VA and on the way out of the airport, another Manager called and was embarrassed by all the shenanigans that took place and offered to comp our stay. Days later when my sister followed up, they said they were comping us for 1 night only. This was NOT what my sister was told upon our return to Norfolk. Every step of the way at this property was a nightmare. We had to get our own towels, there was nowhere to eat on the property other than breakfast and it was an overall extremely poor representation of IHG properties. The Front Desk staff was so unprofessional and did not seem to have a clue on how to operate the tasks at hand. If you can find another place to stay.....run, don't walk to do so.…
Just checked in. The property is very nice. Great check in process and room looked clean and great size.. BUT the stench of dog is horrendous! I'm literally in the room disgusted. Stay away from room 613 .. As soon as you open the door it hits you..
We were unfortunately not so thrilled with the hotel. Upon arrival, the key card system was broken, so we received our keys hours later (in the evening). Before that, someone had to accompany us to the room. The pool is only available in the afternoon (with registration). Despite registration, we still could not use the pool, because when we appeared there on time at the reserved time, the lifeguard had to take his break and the pool was closed. Too bad! Unfortunately, the room is cleaned only on request, at least 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately, no one told us this at check in. Our room could not be darkened at all because the curtains were incorrectly placed. Thus, our room, which was on the sunny side, was as bright as day at 5 in the morning. Although I reported this to the front desk, they unfortunately did not take care of it. The room was moderately clean. Overall, the hotel is very conveniently located.…
We booked this vacations months ago, and this was a very unique find with their amenities for kids. It was to be the last leg of the trip and we were looking forward to down time. Little did we know, that ALTHOUGH the fine print stated their pool was closed Monday and Tuesday (it left out it’s also closed most of Sunday), EVERYTHING else is closed those day as well. That includes, basketball, rock wall, etc. That information was NOT in the fine print. So basically, there was NOTHING for kids to do three out of the three days we were staying. Luckily, due to their lack of stating the actual amenities, or lack there of, offered with correct and clear open-closed dates and times, we were able to get a refund through a third party site and find a new hotel last minute with actual amenities open to the public as advertised.…
