Unfortunately, this hotel is not up to Marriott standards. Yes, the lobby looks refreshed which is probably true but the rooms have not been changed in 20 years. The tub in the bathroom is disgusting. The overall look and feel of the room is dated and tired there are scrapes on the dressers and Wallpaper peeling it's just a hot mess. To the point where I went out and purchased slippers so I didn't have to walk on the carpet. I was kind enough not to request service every day being there for a week but when I asked for service it wasn't done. And when I went to the front desk to ask, they looked at me like I had six heads. The front desk people don't seem to have any hospitality in them at all nor do they clean the room cleaning people. It's such a sad state of a hotel I wouldn't side my worst enemy there after spending a week run don't walk away from here. There is a new hotel on route nine call the aloft, I would recommend you stay there over staying here. There's also a new residence inn in Natick, which would be a better choice.…
I booked one night at this hotel based on the average score of 4/5 from travellers even if it didn't have a free breakfast. It was a very disappointing stay. The room was in a dire need of a renovation. The carpet was old, stained and worn out. There was rust in the bathroom (on the door hinges and in the shower) and the curtains did not close completely, allowing the light to come in in the morning. It was also dusty and I found many strands of hair on the bed frame when doing my usual bed bug check (no bugs thankfully). I'm also certain that the beds were doubles and not queens as advertised. Even my daughter mentionned how narrow they were! At least the mattress was comfortable. The best thing about this hotel were its location close to the mall, the big tv, USB charging available on the desk and the free parking. …
Stayed here quarterly for business. Steadily going down Hill. The property is showing its age. The Charge ports on the desk does not work. Tried plugging wall Charger into wall outlets. but the outlets are So Worn, the plug actually falls out of the outlets. Tried connecting to Wi-Fi, Not In Service ! OK , at this point, I need a drink. Went down to lobby, Sorry bistro/bar opens at 5 BUT did not open tonight ! This is my last stay at this venue ! Nothing for Marriott to be Proud of Here 😳
We stayed here while visiting colleges in the area. The hotel itself is perfectly fine, with large clean comfortable rooms, a decent lobby, and a small but functional gym. Our room had a small fridge and a coffee machine. It was also very quiet, especially considering the busy roads that suround the hotel. My only quibble would be the setting, in the midst of busy routes and megastores. It is absolutely impossible to walk anywhere from the property, though they do their best to have some outside tables facing a patch of greenery behind the main building. Given how pretty New England can be, I felt it was shame to stay in such a busy suburban setting, but that seemed to be the case with every other hotel in the area,
We were there overnight and surprised that some of the furniture in our room was beyond tired - it was actually what you'd expect in a 1 star dumpy lodge. The refrigerator also had a high pitched whine. Those alone would not have compelled me to give a poor rating, though. What bothered me most was that our keys stopped working about 90 minutes before checkout. When my group (in 3 rooms) went to the front desk - since we got locked out - the receptionist explained that "normally they keys stop working around an hour before checkout". WHY? Did we not pay to be there until checkout? That's when guests are loading up their cars, going in and out. The hotel intentionally does this, per the receptionist, and that caused us to waste time (walking around the building from the back parking lot, waiting for the desk attendant to get to the desk, and then to re-key all of our rooms.) We have stayed in many Marriott chains over the years and this was a departure from our normal, totally positive experience. I would not stay there again and would suggest others to stay elsewhere until the paying guests are treated with respect.…
Very comfortable beds. Fairly quiet. Coffee maker and refrigerator. Since they didn’t offer maid service at this time , they promptly sent up anything we needed. Convenient location. Would stay here again
I made the booking for the 12th to the 14th and when I arrived they had it all wrong. And then the receptionist started arguing with me. How does one do that in the hospitality industry? I have stayed at a number of Marriott(s) and there seems to be a common thread. They just don't care about basic courtesy with guests.
Can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. The bartender/server was amazing and very personable, giving get tips about how to navigate Boston and what to see. Room was clean and accommodating. The manager even emailed me after check out to let me know we had left something behind. I highly recommend.
I was treated very well at this hotel. I am a Bonvoy member and checked in through the app with no problems. I was automatically given an upgrade upon checkin. I was given the room I wanted which was a king bed room. It was very quiet which was nice, but that was probably because it was a Wednesday night.
First stay here. Checked in very late; front desk lady was extremely nice. Enjoyed talking to her over the two nights we were here. Bistro ladies (we met three of them, two at the counter and one from the kitchen) were incredibly nice. Again, greatly enjoyed talking to them. They provided excellent service, couldn't do enough to please, were very patient and offered recommendations, and came to check that we were enjoying our food each day at breakfast. Try the smoked salmon and bagels - quite good! We'll stay here next time we're in the area as we really liked the people. Room was also fine and free parking was appreciated.
