This is not what I expect from a Double Tree. This hotel is old, worn and sad. I tried to overlook the patched door, balding carpet, ancient heavy wood furniture and aging bed. It was at least clean. But it was to depressing and when I returned my key to the front desk and said I’d find another place to stay the attendant was polite as she gestured sadly to the “upcoming renovations” signage in the lobby.
As a all over traveler, the Doubletree by Hilton in Milford Massachusetts is hands down one of the best hotels I have seen. What I love is the home away from home fee that this modern hotel has. Every staff member from Ashley and Bianca at the front desk to Lisa and Sara in the breakfast restaurant to Mirta and Nelly in housekeeping gave me that warm embrace of hospitality. The room is very comfortable and very spacious. The pool area is nice and warm and I saw while here the staff attentiveness to detail by maintaining towels and a clean safe pool area while being busy. The staff was wonderful at recommending some nice scenic places to see. All in All Doubletree by Hilton in Milford Massachusetts thank you so much and will be seeing you soon.
Local Stay -- home remodel. We live in Milford, and we were having major work done at our house. Thought about it and decided to stay at the Doubletree Milford. The stay ended up being 12 nights. Loved that the hotel was 5 minutes from home, and we would go to our house in the morning. We had dinner in Legends every night. Shannon took very good care of us! After the first night, she remembered our drinks and brought them right over! She was AWESOME!!! Food was very good, with great portions. We wanted coffee, and she stated that we could get complimentary coffee, tea at Il Cigno Restaurant where they serve breakfast buffet. We are diamond members and had 4 reward nights, which we used, the balance of the stay, we used our points. Not being sure when construction would be finished, we extended our stay through the 800 number when we needed to stay another day or two. We also, had a food/beverage credit of $10.00 pp per day. That was a big savings on the final bill. All in all, great stay! Not every hotel stay needs to be for work or vacation. …
My daughter and I had such a great stay here!! From the warm cookies and courteous staff at check in to a delicious burger and drink from Shannon at Legends! Everyone was friendly and helpful!! Room was very clean. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend!!
Still dirty and outdated as it has been since my first stay in 2014 - it’s a corporately preferred hotel which is the only reason I’ve come back after a 5 year gap. Housekeeping in your room only 3 days per week (no rate reduction though and every other hotel has managed to restore a full housekeeping service) and they forgot to include my room today. Breakfast has always been terrible but the last 3 days they’ve not operated the omelette station which was the only vaguely edible option at breakfast. No explanation- just a shrug and a ‘sorry’ from the staff when questioned, same response on the housekeeping too. Management cannot seriously expect people to accept 1 star facilities and services but still pay Hilton room rates. Time this place closed - I’ve certainly had my last stay here.…
This whole hotel needs to be refreshed. The fitness center was a wreck. They were missing the dumbbells from between 15 and 35 lbs. The workout equipment was old and, in some cases, actually damaged. Both the breakfast and the restaurant were decent. Rooms were clean but very outdated. Everyone I interacted with were pleasant and friendly. They just need to have this hotel updated and have enough employees to pay attention to the finer details.
This hotel is central to my team and we now use it exclusively for our meetings throughout the year. Rob is great to work with and efficient with putting together reasonable packages based on our needs. The staff are all courteous and strive to make everything a great experience. There are also plenty of restaurant and shopping options within a mile radius if you need anything. Those of us who spend a lot of time on the road know how convenient this is. Great food on site as well and we usually just build coffee and lunches right into our meetings and they make it a seamless part of our day.
The hotel staff were amazing. They go over and above to ensure your stay Is relaxing. The conference staff for whom I have dealt with for over 10 years work tirelessly to make sure everything is up to customer’s expectations. Thank you
Montgomery Lodge (the Freemasons) held a 225th anniversary celebration at the Milford DoubleTree on September 10, 2022 with approximately 175 guests. The hotel's catering director Marie assisted us in planning the event within budget and the team of Levi and Maria made sure that our event ran as smoothly as possible. Our guests were treated to a fantastic buffet dinner, which ran as efficiently as Marie promised. We even had a 7-year old in attendance and the kitchen staff whipped up something special for him on the fly to make his evening even more enjoyable. The staff was courteous and were quick to address all our needs. Thank you.
I booked two rooms for me and my adult sons to attend a funeral nearby. I was greeted politely upon arrival given adjoining rooms but was charged more than my invoice from Booking.com. After 20 minutes on hold and much arguing I was finally told I could pay the price I had booked for. . Room was extremely clean and had a large fridge and microwave. Nicely stocked coffee station and toiletries. Bathtub was dated. My reason for poor rating is that housekeeping began knocking at our doors at 730 in the morning!!! There wasn’t a do not disturb sign to put on the door. While showering at 930 they were again knocking at the door. I answered and told the housekeeping that we were still here. 5 minutes later a different housekeeper was banging at the door. I have never felt so harassed staying in a hotel before. …
