With cabin fever mixed in the air, we decided to do a quick getaway to the Fairfield. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm voice and smile from the front desk. The smell was amazing too! They mentioned there was a lot of hockey in the house, so they put us on a higher floor to get away from the kids. We do know this is a popular area for hockey and it was nice of them to consider our needs. We had the breakfast and the staff was attentive and accommodating. Many areas to walk to as well for lunch and dinner
This is the worst hotel you will ever stay at. Loud music blaring that you can hear in your room and screaming children running through the hall at 10 pm. I have called the front desk 3 times and they have done nothing. Do not stay here. Plenty of other hotels in the area. Save yourself the frustration. Front desk and management do not care.
This is probably the best Fairfield we have ever stayed at. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Not just one person, but all of them! We didn't get a chance to get breakfast because of our schedule, but the room was clean and the hotel well taken care of.
Hotel is ideally located near shops and restaurants. It's new and clean. Above all though the management and staff of this hotel are outstanding. Ms. Wilson, the front office manager went way above the call of duty to help me and my family with our room requirements last month. Will stay here again and again when in the area.
We are traveling for vacation and stopped at a competing hotel on our way up. Hated everything about it. I made a reservation at Fairfield for our trip back as we were driving out of town! They nailed it, beginning with checkin. We were offered water and cookies. I asked if they happened to have hot water for tea, and the employee pointed out the coffee station for later but stopped what he was doing and went and brought me hot water as he knew the station often runs out of that. Definitely above and beyond. Hotel was clean, pleasantly decorated, beds were comfy, pool was nice, breakfast area was big enough not to feel crowded. Staff was very friendly. Easy walking distance to many dining options. We had a room on the side that backed up to woodland so even a lovely view out the window. We joked that even the hallways seemed extra padded/springy to absorb noise etc (no idea if that was the case or if it’s just really good padding lol) Well done. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.…
This place will please if you're looking for a well run, clean hotel with limited services... but has a gym, pool, breakfast included, free parking. Was a large sports team here but they didn't interfere with us much.
We live in the area and checked in for one night while we were having some work done on our house. They let us check in at 9:00 AM and use the room all day with no extra charge. The room was very clean. At 3:00 PM, after we had been in the room for several hours, someone checked in next door and was having a very loud dance party. I called the Front Desk and Allie offered to (1) tell the folks next door to turn it down and (2) allowed us to move to a quieter room with no adjoining room (the dance party was in an adjoining room). There was no extra charge for the room stay or the move (altho we left a nice tip for housekeeping!) Three cheers for Allie at the Front Desk who was understanding and very accommodating and did ask the dance party to quiet down (they did!) We learned there was a high school girls soccer tournament in the area and there were teens booked in many area hotels. When we went downstairs to get the new room key, Allie was instructing one of the adult chaperones on the hotel rules, including quiet time at 10pm. We never heard any noise again and had a restful evening/night. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy (on the firmer side, which we like). Would not hesitate to recommend!…
The team at this hotel is crushing it! The rooms are very clean and well-kept supported by great layouts and huge room size. The breakfast is well above average for a continental-style offering, with attentive employees and a regularly cleaned and spacious dining room. The front desk staff and management go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need during your stay and schedule cleaning during long stays based upon your availability. We won’t stay anywhere else when in the area! For a family of 5, the two queen room is quite sufficient and comfortable.
Excellent hotel for it's category. Similar high quality experience as the Hyatt Place just a 2 minute walk away (same owner). Modern, feels new (4 years) and a comfortable room, well maintained. Friendly staff. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
We arrived somewhat later in the evening on our road trip from Maine back to DC and booked 2 rooms. Our check in attendant was friendly and efficient and very helpful about where to find a good restaurant. It turns out that this location is surrounded by great dining and entertainment options of all kinds. We had a very good night’s sleep. Our rooms were sparkling clean, comfortable and up to date, as this hotel was built in 2017. Staff were all very friendly. Upon checking out, we met a courteous and professional young woman behind the desk. It turns out that one of our party left an article of clothing behind. Before we even got to our next stop, we were contacted by Allie, who arranged to have the jacket shipped to our home via UPS. In all my years of travel, I have never experienced being proactively contacted by the hotel with the offer of returning a personal item that was left behind. I highly recommend staying at the Fairfield Inn in Marlborough Massachusetts. Well done!…
