I booked a hotel and the date auto-populated without my acknowledgment. I showed up at the hotel and they said they didn’t have a reservation for me. I was dumbfounded. He checked again and said my reservation was for the day before! I asked if there was anything I could do because clearly we did not stay there the night before. Clerk was very unhelpful and told me I could book another room. Because we were from out of state, I went back to my car and booked another room online. I did send an email to the manager of the hotel but didn’t get the courtesy of a response. Avoid this hotel. There are others in the area.
I had a comfortable stay here. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfy. There was convenient parking available right outside the room, as all the doors were outside. I was impressed with the warm breakfast: waffles, pancakes, various types of toasted bread. All the staff were very kind and helpful.
Quality Inn in Lexington, MA is everything BUT quality. Upon entering my non-smoking suite I was hit with the smell of cheap perfume and smoke. I went to pull the stool out to sit at the counter - I’ll let the pic speak for itself. I thought “let me have a look at the bathroom and the bedroom”. There was a pubic hair on the ledge of the tub - I had just walked in- not mine! The tub is filthy. Filthy. There was dirt and bugs stuck to the doorframe from condensation. I pulled the blanket back to check the sheets. They were dirty and there were several long (head) hairs. No other hotels were available in the area and I was on a last minute business trip. So ….I smelled the sheets that were on the couch - they smelled of cigarettes and laundry detergent. I lined the bed with one and covered myself with the other. The wallpaper is peeling off along the top of the walls. The curtain in the living room is ripped. The curtain in the bedroom is falling off the rod in certain areas. The towels are stained. The pillow cases has spots clearly visible. The rug looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. Even the phone was disgusting. I wish I could have shared more than 10 pics. If you’re considering this hotel, know that you had fair warning.…
Staff was friendly during check in and check out. Breakfast choices were good. However, I was a little disappointed in the accommodations. The room was a little run down and could use some attention. Comforter had stains, smoke alarm was hanging off the wall, dresser looked like it was stained and freezer had a huge buildup of ice and something had clearly been spilled in it. Bed was comfortable but walls pretty thin and could hear everything going on. Hope this was a fluke and that other rooms were in better condition.
Very horrible customer service corporate will hear about about this in the morning as well as the general manger Aziz T. of this location. The customer service is very horrible and Sia will be reported to corporate. Sia lacks tack for her job and I'm not sure how long she's been working but if you need somewhere to stay and you are paying the money they ask for it is not worth it! Sia will treat you like crap especially if you are apart of an ethic group that differs from this representative of choice hotels. I work for a corporate hotel chain similar to this and never thought I would ever meet someone so insensitive in this field, to my elderly grandmother who is always in and out of the hospital. My Grandmother arrived at this hotel that i booked for her last minute due to her conditions. she didn't have her credit card on her due to her forgetfulness which is understandable with old age do you think sia cared or showed compassion no instead she yelled at me through the phone when i asked her if there was a feasible way I could get c.c information to her on behalf of my grandmother she even threaten to call the cops when I asked for her general mangers information to report this incident and now Patrick the CEO of choice hotels will have to hear about this or whoever is the CEO because there is no way a customer service rep should treat a representative on behalf of the elderly this way. I hope this is not the image and kind of representative choice hotels choses to use for their brand. Sia consistently yelled at me in the time of need and frustration involving my grandmother about hotel policy which I was aware of I mean who has so little compassion and treat paying customers this way only a company that would want to lose business and have a bad rep. All I was expecting from sia the customer service agent which I think her full name is Krishna is for her to help in anyway she could on how we could get my grandmother in a bed since it was very late 11pm and she is elderly. Lastly she even mocked my elderly grandmother for having an accident in the hotel saying she could have called the police on my elderly grandmother because I wanted to voice my concerns with the manager on how I was being talked down to by sia. One of the worst experiences I had in the last 10 years of traveling this is why I would always choose other brands to stay with other than choice and tonight shows me that I will choose else where from now on. What a night can anyone imagine a representative laughing and mocking their elderly grandmother because she had an accident and threaten to call the cops on their family member for calling to get help in a difficult situation so sad and unprofessional. I pray this doesn't happen to anyone else. If your reading this please choose another place they might not be so helpful if anything is happening to you in that area.…
The room was clean; however the bathroom was in tough shape. The toilet seat was loose and the bathtub was disgusting. The water dripped in the tub leaving colorful residue. We only stayed one night. Would not have stayed another. The beds were small and uncomfortable. We only chose this hotel because everything else was booked. People at front desk were pleasant.
GROSS! Would never have stayed here if we had another option. The only reason we stayed here is because we were traveling through town and EVERY hotel was booked because the Boston Marathon was the next day. Positives: we booked the King Suite (only room left) and it appeared to be slightly less used. I wouldn’t say it was “clean” but I’m sure it was better than a standard room. Also the front desk staff was really nice. Negatives: it was so unclean. we brought Lysol Wipes to clean all surfaces and door handles upon arrival and let’s just say that those wipes were FILTHY when we were done. The carpet was almost black and we wouldn’t even put our bags on the ground. Of course we didn’t even take socks off either. The halls and outside of the buildings were so worn down and shabby. Only stay here if you’re desperate…
Rooms are not cleaned very well. First room I checked in was infested with fleas, I had to grab all my things and request another room. Second room smelled so bad and the furniture was disgusting with spillings of drinks or something. Finally the 3rd room was good, it was doable. The hotel allows pets so make sure you don't get a room that allows pets otherwise you might have fleas in your room. Cleaning people do a horrible job cleaning the rooms but the staff in the office are helpful. Breakfast is nice as they give you a full breakfast of eggs and potatoes and the works. Hotels needs some upgrading and the really good cleaning.
PROS: In town for my brother’s elective knee replacement surgery, so chose this low budget hotel 8 min from hosp. Hot breakfast included DAILY pancakes, DIY waffles, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage links & patties, besides typical toast/bagels/cereal/coffee/juice. To our pleasant surprise, VERY quiet, uneventful evenings, but we were there midweek Tues & Wed nights. Free parking. 1 mile from Stop & Shop, a few restaurants, etc. The nightly rate is VERY reasonable compared to others in this area. NICEST staff whom I hope they treat well to keep them working for them:) CONS: As soon as we entered room, the room smell. As my brother said, not a body fluid smell, just odd-like there was once water damage that they tried to clean up, but it left this odor. We left for hospital to return late at night & it hit you like a brick again. Tried to NOT have to relocate hotels, so we bought a plug-in Airwick from CVS, conveniently located 1 mi down road. Didn’t help. Had to check out because of this smell & knowing we had 2 more nights. Be prepared as it does not look pretty on the outside, but room itself is ok. As long as I wore slides on my feet, I was fine; but bare feet on carpet, umm, well if you stay here, you will understand.…
Upon arrival we found that the room was very dirty. It was obvious that the sheets hadn’t been washed. They were full of long dark hairs. There was also a sticky substance on the bedside table and a bag of old McDonalds French fries in the dresser drawer. There were also sticky substances on the night stand, as if someone had spilled a soda. It appears that the hotel is used mostly as living quarters for the owners. Unfortunately these findings made it so that we did not feel that we could trust that this could be rectified. How could we trust that another room would be cleaner or that replacement sheets would be clean? The smell of the motel was also quite off putting. This is especially disturbing considering Covid and the importance of prevention the spread of germs and building trust with travelers. This was all especially frustrating after a long day of traveling from 8 hours away. Despite how tired we were, we packed up our belongings at 9pm and left.…
