Clean, cute, well maintained hotel room. Big bed, cute kitchenette, and even a back door overlooking the ocean. Every you need is there. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!pet friendly, and they were very accommodating!
Second time staying and just as good as the first. Room was spacious, updated and clean. Decor has that beachy, ‘Hull’ feel. Staff is excellent, friendly and attentive. Location is short distance to beach and lots of local restaurants. Only suggestion would be a larger bathroom but otherwise it was fine and we’ll be back.
Let me start by saying that I'm not sure how this is a 2-star hotel, it is definitely beyond that! My boyfriend and I wanted a last minute getaway out of NYC for the incoming New Year so we had a 3 night stay in Nantasket Beach. The genuine hospitality began even before we left the city, I called to inform the staff that we'd be arrving very late in the night, the front desk person was exceptionally polite, answered all my questions, and even gave me some info I didn't know I needed, plus, parking was free!. Once we entered the room it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The bedding was very well kept, you could tell that so many caring details went into the room prep, quiet room, wonderful sleep! We were extreamly pleased with the room aesthetic. And my gosh, it was clean! We loved walking in each time greeted by such a plesant environment. We were offered maid service through out our stay but the room had plenty of towels, even robes so we didn't need it. There is also a wide variety of snacks and merch in the front office and free extra coffee and tea for the room. We stayed in a partial ocean view room which was literally only steps from the beach. The area was quiet and tranquil and the hotel landcaping was inpressive. We drove out to Salem which was about a 45 min ride and stopped into Boston on the way back which was only about 30 minutes away. I must say my favorite location was driving out to Fort Revere Park, recommended by the hotel staff and a short 10 min ride. Surrounded by beautiful New England houses, the MA Bay, and perfect for nature lovers, it was breathtaking! Our only regret was having to leave! We'd most certainly love to stay here again! …
Not to be confused with Nantasket Beach Resort... this was a lovely little gem in Hull, MA. It is certainly a motel but hotel vibes. Our room was modern and clean. It was actually the most modern motel we've ever stayed in in New England other than those in Boston City. It had a cute, beachy theme with pastel blue walls, lots of space - loads of room actually! Bathroom was clean, although toliet/floor is at a slant and if you're sitting for too long you feel like you're going to fall off lol but don't let it put you off. This place is lovely, I would say again and would recommend. Few restaurants within walking distance and a nice walk along the beach. No sea view unless you're in the carpark (I think) and its not nosey considering it's beside a road. The woman on reception was lovely. Really friendly and their reception had a complimentary ice and you could buy other things like snacks and Icecream. Bed was comfortable for me, hubby had a sore back but you can't win everyone with a bed!…
Overall we enjoyed our Labor Day weekend getaway. Of course we paid premium rates ( over 300 per night for our double queen room) we were excited to have access to the hot tub as my husband had fallen and was very sore. The hot tub was green and was being treated with chemicals instead of being cleaned ( according to a condo owner a baby diaper full size of poop got thrown in it). We asked the night engineer to address it and he cleaned it out and it was beautifully fresh and ready for guests the next morning. The desk staff are exceptional. Especially Cy. He always had a smile and was so helpful on many occasions. Our room was tidied daily ( which ch was a bit embarrassing as I didn’t know and I’m sure the staff were appalled at our room atleast once) sorry about that! Water pressure and temps were great. Room was quiet. Traffic blocked out the ocean sounds most of the time from our little balcony but we enjoyed drinking our coffees from the little bakery down the street every morning. Get there earlier than later trust me. It would be nice to have a coffee station set up for guests hint hint. Overall it was a lovely spot. No big frills or extras. But it was clean and the adjoining restaurant was well staffed and the food was delicious.…
My experience was not pleasant. I made a mistake trying to make plans in a closet at work on my phone and because the name is almost the same as another hotel and I tried to cancel one day late, only five days after making the reservation and discovering my error when I called the other hotel with a question. I then asked to cancel and realizing I was the day late said I wanted to just cancel from that day losing the one night and they refused. The woman I spoke with was very condescending repeating my name Mary, Mary, Mary, Mary, you are just too late! And when I asked to just cancel the remaining 4 days (7 days prior to those four days) they refused, not even one night. I told them the family was staying at another hotel and I had made a mistake and she didn't care. The owner refused to speak with me saying that he doesn't talk with guests (!!!), that's what he hires other people for. They were condescending and not caring how disappointed and upset we were to not stay with our other family. Then here's the clincher. I had paid $50 extra per night for the "ocean view" room. If you look really hard you can spot the ocean in the distance. The fee for an ocean view is so fraudulent I cannot believe they get away with it, the "view" is the size of a postage stamp; bring your binoculars!!! This is NOT ON the ocean, it is a couple blocks down. The outlets are old and the plug for my curling iron would not stay in so it kept shutting off. The TV had ONE channel you could watch. And the word "hotel" is a stretch, this is a "motel". It's all about the money for these people; RUN and don't give them a dime! They couldn't care less about their guests and they will charge you extra for anything and everything they can.…
Pros: Room was very clean and had all the essentials. There is a mini fridge, a microwave and coffee. The hotel is animal friendly which was a plus for us traveling with our dog. Front desk employees were excellent and very friendly. Cons: The beds in our room 8 were awful and need to be replaced. They were saggy and I woke up with a horrible backache. There are only a few ocean view rooms. Notes: Beach is across the street but dogs are not allowed there. Hotel rents chairs and has complimentary beach towels Stodder’s Neck was recommended for our dog and was a great park for him!
We appreciated the oversized room as we stayed one night on a road trip with our 20 year old and 17 hear old children. The room layout and size were perfect for our needs! The area with 2 chairs to sit outside for fresh air was just perfect. A quick walk along the beach in the a.m. before we hit the road was just perfect. The operators were lovely. Thank you.
This property had the coolest beach vibe! We loved the spacious room with kitchenette, the beautiful bathroom, the location and the staff. It felt like home away from home. The only downside was that the parking lot was tight with the hotel's sign to navigate around when backing out.
This small hotel is the perfect quiet getaway for those looking to be close to Boston and Cape Cod without all the crowds. The ocean is a 30 second walk from the hotel and a close walk to restaurants. The room was clean and simple and the beds were comfortable. The staff makes the place great with their genuine concern for your happiness. They offer beach towels and beach chairs.
