We chose this place because we could be assured of parking, walk to Gillette Stadium for the game, and it was less than half of the Stadium hotel. In those respects our stay worked. Easy to find, easy to leave. Very friendly staff. Dave did well with follow up on reservations, and when our TV didn't work (thanks to the previous lodgers), Ronnie came right up and fixed it. The room itself was quite clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom spacious. It comes with microwave, minifridge, closet with iron, board, and one hangar. The entire facility smells like smoke. The room had deodorizer of some sort, and we appreciated the effort, but it just made for sweet-smelling smoke smell. You have to stand on the bed to reach the climate control on the mini-split. Less-than-standard TC picture quality. No spindle for the two rolls of TP. One curtain wand was not attached. No phone to call the front desk. No elevator, if that matters to you. We paid extra for breakfast, but missed it. Worn, dated interior. The shower runs hot, four nice towels are provided, along with soaps and shampoos for two. We could only take a right out of the parking lot on game day after the game, although that was the direction our phone was taking us anyway. The constant smell of smoke was a big strike against staying here, the rest we could handle for the less-than-24-hour stay we had. For the next game, I think we'll take the bus and endure the 10-hour round trip. Overall less time, less costly. Thanks again to Ronnie and Dave for being so nice. My son found someone's wallet on the stairs and turned it in. Counter Agent Ronnie found the owner, who was relieved to get it back.…
the bartender/cook did not have his mask on the whole time he was in the bar and kitchen. he had a "bandana" (which is ineffective) around his neck. I ordered food hoping for the best. He told me 10 minutes. I came back in ten minutes and walked through the bar to a window where i could see him in the back cooking food and making someone's pizza. his bandana was still around his neck. when he came out he pointed to my food to let me know it was ready. I politely asked him (already knowing the answer) - Did you wear a mask while cooking the food? He said, " You dont want it, then dont eat it. I said " just asking a question and trying to be safe". He angrily rang me up and said " just so you know i got my vaccine yesterday" I said good for you, that does not protect me or anyone else, you can still contract and spread to anyone, you need to educate your self. He was rude and dismissive.…
People coming out to smoke at all hours of the night and talking loud. If you are on the first level room - good luck. All night loud running and footsteps from room above. Seems like there is rough people living there long term. Walls are thing, I heard people hitting walls, no sleep. Breakfast is free in the morning and is OK but no variety and gets old fast. I would only stay again if no other option was available.
We stayed here one night after a Patriots game. Great location to walk to but that's about it. The room wasn't the cleanest and the bathroom was disgusting. Blood on the toilet, lots of dirt on the floor and the tub wouldn't drain. We had a non smoking room but the whole place had a stale smoke smell. There was breakfast in the morning and it was ok but not great.
We only stayed one night after a concert in Mansfield. Nice clean updated room, good breakfast in AM and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend. We arrived very late and there was someone at the desk ready to get us checked in very fast and efficiently.
Only stay here is you don’t mind smelling like cigarettes all day. Even though we were in a no smoking wing, the smell of cigarettes was strong. Everyone woke up with their allergies going crazy. The place is not clean at all. The location is great and the price was too, but this whole place needs gutted and rebuilt. They did some upgrades, but it was wasted money because it’s still grimy.
everything meets or exceeds expectations. A very good price / value relationship. Vert goos service, clean rooms, plenty of parking, excellent location on route One near Interstate 495 and Gillette Stadium.
this was our second time to Americas best value Inn. It was nice quiet clean as I remember and this time we enjoyed a game of pool in the bar. The breakfast was great full of variety . We are planning out next trip
Always pleasant and accomodating, great rooms and good atmosphere. Staff is very responsive to guest's needs and requests. Overall , the best value for the price in the area. Recommend ABVI as a good weekday spot for business and travel stay. Breakfast every AM and it is plentiful and hot!
I booked a nonsmoking room with king size bed. I checked in a little early (about 2:00 pm) just to drop my bag and wouldn't return until later that night around 10:00. Up on return it was obvious they put me in a "smoking room" as soon as I turned on the bathroom fan, along with the bedding which also smelled like cigarettes. My attempt to find the front desk person was unsuccessful. Being extremely tired I tried to make the best of a bad situation. About midnight the footsteps began from the room above me, that continued until around 3. Sounded like someone walking on an old wooden floor, creaking and squeaking continuously...? Needless to say I didn't sleep well, actually not at all!!! The following morning I attempted several times to find and talk to the front desk person but again nobody was there to help. Aside from that the room was a little run down and dirty, wouldn't recommended.…
