Pros: Easy parking, pet friendly, clean

Cons: The king size mattress we had was so used that you rolled to one side. If you liked at the headboard, one side of the mattress was inches below it while the other side was directly at it. I had to put pillows behind my back to keep me from rolling into my husband all night. The furniture was used and abused. The knobs were loose and falling out. The lighting was TERRIBLE. The light bulbs could be night lights they were so dim. One didn't work at all. The toilet was old (& a split seat). The shower head sprayed in every direction but onto your head.

The grassy areas outside were literally so full of poop we had trouble walking our dog. That was really gross. Unfortunately people are completely irresponsible and ruin that for everyone. They definitely need someone for grounds maintenance in that regard. My husband checked us in but I literally never saw anyone at the front desk.

I've stayed at updated LA Quintas that are fabulous. This felt more like a motel to me. It isn't the fault of the staff - they just really need to update their mattresses, furniture, and lighting!

Stayed in La Quintas before. They accept cats, so, that's good. Had trouble finding this one cause it was behind another motel. No biggie. The room(s) were very clean and tidy. Very comfortable. I don't know what it is about the 2 La Quintas in which I've stayed in the past 6 months, but, I do not understand the 12' ceilings. Room is very spacious but 12'? Could add another floor to the motel if each room had the same ceiling height. The other thing that I've realized is these newer La Quintas have really thin walls. Both times I could hear what was going on in the next room. Neighbors had kids, but, thankfully, they were sound asleep by 9 pm. One, 'complaint' that I had, and from what the person at the desk told me in the morning that I was not the only person to make the comment was, they have the towel rack IN THE SHOWER. What's up with that? Almost like they had forgotten to add it when they made the room.

Staff excellent, property location good. Decor needs freshening and deep cleaning. TV had all the cable channels you could want. Mattress way too hard, had a sore back for 3 days. Breakfast good: hot food (eggs, sausage, french toast strips, hot tea/coffee), juice, yogurt. Won't stay there again because of hard bed but otherwise fine.

Terrible place. smells like mold and mildew. the rooms also. the AC unit is loud as a jet engine and stops after 5 minutes, only to turn on again 5 minutes later when the warm fetid moldy air infects the room again. the table leg on the coffee table was propped underneath. it wasn't even glued. IT WAS PROPPED UNDERNEATH. where are we? At the Alpha Beta house on campus? Breakfast was inedible. You wouldn't feed it to a stray dog. I can only imagine all the food out there has been in the fridge for weeks until the morning when they microwave it and put it out there again. the belgian waffle mix was stale. I don't know how that's happened. I've never had "bad" belgian waffles at a hotel and I've stayed at my share of mediocre hotels. But it was bad. probably months old. who knows. there are a dozen hotels in the area. I have to believe that any one of them are better than this one.

Worked for one night but not the cleanest. I picked this hotel from the other 4 (that are literally right in a row) because they allowed dogs with no extra fee. The room was big and the hardwood floor a plus. Housekeeping is either lazy or lacks attention to detail as there were coffee splash stains on the wall next to the coffee maker (which easily wiped off as I checked), an empty water bottle on the floor behind a chair I moved, dime on the floor, and black mold in the shower corners. Bed and towels seemed clean though which was all that mattered. Breakfast area had ants all over the coffee supplies and on the juice machine. Trash was overflowing (and outside can at door too) and syrup empty. The worst part was observing an employee bring out pastries and put them in the display case with her bare hands (and tongs were right there!)

Check in was painless. The room was adequate except that the AC struggled to get the temperature below 75. The property seemed relatively clean. The room layout was reasonable. The bed was average. The main advantage of the hotel is that it is relatively inexpensive and average in an area where hotels tend to be overpriced and rather shabby.

They couldn’t locate my reservation even with a printed copy of their confirmation. Room was dated and worn. Pet walking area is tiny. The free breakfast is the coffee maker in the room. Never going to stay here again!

We have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and always very pleased with the cleanliness, staff, comfort, location. This is our go to hotel for all these reasons plus it’s dog friendly! The staff couldn’t be nicer or more professional. There are lots of choices to dine out close by as well. Highly recommend!

Stayed on Wednesday night, had a good room on 1st fl., which I prefer as we have a dog. We were going to be back Sunday so stopped at desk and requested the same room, and gave deposit. On Sunday upon arrival was told the only room they had was a different room on second fl. While I was not happy I took the room. At 1am the games began, loud obnoxious people in hall & room next door. This continued until 5 am when they left. So we had no sleep at all.

Shower is crawling with black mold!! The sink too!! House keeping should be fired - bleach and clean caulking, it’s a simple fix that hasn’t been done. AC inefficient. Changed rooms twice, one was worse than the other. Front desk couldn’t be bothered. No ice machine working on third floor. No pet fee however keep driving. Run from this place!! Several other hotels out the front door, make a better choice.
