Great Time on the Beach
The entertainment team is awesome at El Dorado. We had a blast playing volleyball every day. Would recommend jumping in with them anytime. So much fun. Service from Alex, Wendy, Rafael, Omar, Harvey (the little Hercules), and Juan was great. Bar staff on the beach was second to none as well. Would def go back.

Incredible Vacation
We had the best vacation here. The service was impeccable and so was the view. Our butlers were so helpful and ensured we were well taken care of. The beach was also amazing; surf was calm and Maroma was the nicest beach around that area.Palofitos restaurant was the best restaurant by far but all were good . I recommend the sushi place as well!! Was completely worth the money.

Honest Review
It was a challenging vacation. The service was very bad. There was a few people who made it really pleasant. They were Daisy, Alan, Beatriz, Salome, Israel, Wendy. Our excursion arrangements by Lomas travel was not good. It Took us over an hour to get our food, room service, and in the restaurant at Palafitous. We were better off eating at the restaurant called Palipetos which is the buffet. Their food was even better than the restaurant associated with the bungalows. We were asking for water for our rooms and we would not get it. The staff was not listening to what we wanted and/or just didn’t do it. They have Butlers at the bungalows. Don’t be deceived, they are real Butlers like we would think they are judging by the name. I don’t even know what to call them but they’re more like a distant concierge person who may or may not do your requests depending on the day, the time of day, and who it is. Some of them do not take their job seriously at all and they just don’t care. The Portion sizes at the bungalow restaurant were tiny. They had a spinach salad on the menu and you literally got six leaves of spinach and about half a cup of dressing. When we went to the restaurant for breakfast and for lunch, it took two hours from beginning to end just waiting on food drinks, bread and other things. I had to order 4 to 5 things to to get full. When we ordered food from the beach Butler, Daisy, we got our food in a normal manner time 10 to 15 minutes. I don’t understand what’s going on in this place with the Butler’s, waiters, and others, but I would not recommend this experience to anybody. The surroundings, the bungalows, are beautiful. But this place does not support how beautiful it is with their services. It has a lot of potential, but it’s nowhere near where it needs to be. Hi H Vashtee. Does this studio also have a clear ocean view? We are ruby members and this is the first time booking a studio. Do you have any pics of the pool on the balcony?
Hi, we are going there in March this year for 17 days and are staying in a presental studio. Can anyone tell me the room number of the one on the 2nd floor? I hear it has a private pool on the balcony and would like to reserve that unit.
I think the room you are you are referring to is room 1011 which is for ruby members. I stayed in that room last year October and it is one of the best for the ruby studio . It is about 1200 sqft with a small kitchen , living room, two balconies , two toilets ,a shower and a jacuzzi tub, a seperate bedroom which leads to one of the balcony with the pool and this view faces the beach . I stayed in this room twice . Excellent resort and staff.

What is the nightlife like at the hotel? What times does the evening entertainment finish?
The night life consist of fire show, magic show, reggae band, some tribute bands, karaoke night, mariachi band during dinner (outdoors) and sometimes they will have singers by bar 24. Start time is between 8:30 to 9:30 pm except for the mariachi band which starts earlier, by 11:00 pm the entertainment is finish but I think Rick's bar stays open until 2:00 am . All and All it is enjoyable but nothing wild and crazy. It is a beautiful resort with excellent staff.

Is there a dj with dancing every night? And if so, what time does that start? Our group is getting older and finding it hard to stay up at all inclusives where it doesn't start till 11 or later!
There are the nightly entainments and after that the floor is open for doing your own thing which is between 10 to 11 pm. This resort is small, beautiful and is set up for a more matured crowd. We have been to this resort many times and never been disappointed. If you want the crazy wild party then this is not your resort. This resort is for relaxing, having good fun and chill out.

Has anyone been contacted by Foster Real Estate or any other company to purchase you membership of ownership for a large about of money? We did and I did my research. Seller beware!!!! Most of these are scams and want you to pay money up front. These are mostly scams so seller beware. Like the saying goes If it is too good to be true then it is. Do your research!!!!
