I did a site visit to Secrets Maroma and let me tell you what a beautiful resort and beach! The service is impeccable. Daniel in the world Cafe , Mariana my concierge and my angel Marta at the front desk are amazing! Amstar handled my smooth as silk transfers and really enjoyed all the food, the entertainment and the activities. This adults only resort is top notch thanks for a fantastic week!

Second visit even better than the first!

Rarely do I return to a resort when there are so many from which to choose, but I had such a lovely time several years ago, I decided to return to Secrets Maroma. Since my last visit, there have been renovations, making the rooms more beautiful and thoughtfully accommodating. Attention to detail is evident in the room design as well as the service at this resort. The restaurants are amazing. The service here is second to none! Concierge in each building...ours was Mariella....got us settled, made reservations for us, and checked in from time to time. Pool and beach concierge will set you up with lounge chair, towels, table. From there you can have food and drink brought to you, but even if that is not your style, cold buckets of water bottles and cool wash cloths are circulating throughout the day. They even came around cleaning everyone's sunglasses !! The members of the entertainment staff are so warm and friendly, it's not long before you feel like family. They are there day and night and seem to truly enjoy their work. Shout out to Gabriella, Bernice, Enrique, Jonathan, Andrea, William, Noemi, Caesar and the rest of the crew. Can't wait to return.…

Wedding in Paradise

This review is LONG overdue. My husband and I got married at Maroma June 1st and it was hands down the most incredible experience. It FAR exceeded all expectations. I began planning the wedding about a year in advance with our coordinator Arely. Words cannot begin to describe how amazing she is. She was so receptive to all of my emails and would respond almost immediately. It’s hard planning a wedding at a venue that you’ve never seen before, but Arely made it a breeze. When it came to the wedding day, it rained all morning, but Arely stayed positive and put my mind at ease by giving us equally as beautiful inside alternatives of the rain didn’t clear up. We lucked out and were able to have the ceremony on the beach and the reception under the gazebo by the pool. Both were breath-takingly gorgeous!! I would also highly recommend our photographer Alejandro, he was fun and easy-going and our pictures turned out beautiful. All of the staff work so hard and make sure everything goes smoothly and flawlessly. If you are thinking about having a destination wedding and considering Maroma as the venue, do it!!! It was so fun and stress-free and literally the best time of our lives!…

Everything that's not included is way over priced

As far as the people working there. They were amazing. But everything is way way over priced a 50 min massage is $300 rediculous. If you want you close washed they charge per item. To was a pair of socks its $4 usd underwear I thing was like $7-$8. The Resort is definitely way over priced for where and what it is

Great beach, service, and food. Especially Seaside Grill. Ask for Roman. Best waiter at the resort. Everyone there is ready to help in any way to make your stay perfect. The beach is the nicest we have been to in Mexico.

Hi there, Has anyone been to secrets maroma lately and has had a swimout room. I have watching videos lately and have noticed that the swimout rooms only has one lounge chair. Just wondering if that is true. Thanks !

Depending of the room. If you ask for swim out only they have one lounge and a small built in couch. I think you would like a Junior suite beach honeymoon suite or presidential suite. These have 2 lounge chairs and a small table with 2 straignt chairs for eating outside.

We are planning a vacation to the Riviera Maya and looking at Secrets Capri, Akumal and Maroma Beach. What activities are available for guests? We love to relax, but do not want to sit by the pool every day. We have stayed at resorts in the DR and usually take the preferred option. We have found that preferred guests usually have access to more restaurants and have more food options, but in the end we wondered if it was worth the extra cost. To previous guests of Secrets Maroma Beach: What are your thoughts? Thank you

I have booked Secrets preferred option a few times. It gets you closer to the beach with better room views and access to the preferred beach area and the preferred club. No difference on all the restaurants. There are plenty of activities that are run by the activity staff. There is plenty you can do on your own or that are planned events all throughout the day. I believe the only up charge is for wave runners that are actually run by an independent operator. We have only been to Maroma - beach is the best. Have been told the beach at Secrets Akumal is very crowded. It's where all the swim with the sea turtle tours go. The beaches in Mexico are public and there is public access at the Akumal location.

Hi everyone, my husband and I will be at SMB on Sunday and we're vegan. We were at Secrets Silversands 4 years ago but this is our first all-inclusive as vegans. Does anyone know if the bars have coconut milk or almond milk? And any suggestions on what the best vegan drinks to order are? Any other vegan tips are appreciated. Thanks! Krystal
