This campsite was on the route I was heading the next day which was the deciding factor I didn't have any prior knowledge of it. It's a great location on the edge of a large lake. we checked in between 8 and 9pm I believe and the owner came out of the house next to the check in to greet us. Quite friendly gave us lots of info. (be careful around dark as always in NL lots of moose around the area) Of course yes there were lots of bugs. As we got in late we didn't have much time to check out the amenities but it was clear they offered kayak/boat rentals as there was lots of equipment outside the check in hut. There were 2 young guys continuously driving past our site all evening in some 4 wheeler thing- one delivering wood the other doing who knows what which was quite disturbing to our camping experience.
There were quite a few RVs and other campers there. From what the woman said I definitely recommend calling/booking in advance as she said they were full the next few weekends.
Campsite had fire pit and picnic table. Decent ground coverage so we weren't sleeping on rocks.

*note - in June there were lots of mosquitoes and those tiny flies. You definitely need a fire to keep them away!

Washroom situation was not the best. There was an outhouse opposite our campsite. There were other washrooms over by the house. However the shower and toilet were inside the same room. That's right. Singular. One toilet. One shower. And showers are $4... But seemed to be on the honor system as we were told to pay at the hut. Since I refuse to pay $4 for a shower and aren't sneaky enough to shower without paying, I'm now pretty good at the sink shower. Washroom was very clean.

I would stay here again if I was in this area

Helpful note - They sell alcohol here. Only to be consumed at campsites. But they have beer and snacks enough said.
