I was simply at this hotel to visit a friend briefly, but after experienced hospitality not only at its worst, it had me terrified and utterly scared. I stopped by the hotel to simply visit a friend and after proceeded to wait in the lobby to be picked up by my ride. It was a dangerously cold night with lows in the negative teens, not including the wind chill, at -35 to -45. After about 2 minutes of waiting in the lobby, I was confronted by Paul, the front desk night attendant. I informed him I was waiting for my ride and would be leaving shortly. Paul responded by asking the last name and room number of who I visited, from across the lobby. I simply paused and repeated what I originally said. Paul proceeded to tell me he did not believe me and instructed me to leave the property. I'd like to mention that I have over 10 years experience working at Marriott properties and would expect termination if ever treated a guest in the manner I was being treated by Paul. Paul insisted I immediately leave the hotel, even after I called attention to the cold and asked to just wait inside for just a few minutes, as I was not dressed to survive any extended time outside. I knew my ride would be arriving shortly so I either had to freeze outside or find shelter elsewhere, but loose my ride potentially, if I did. After waiting outside for a couple minutes I made the decision to re-enter the hotel, and informed Paul to notify law enforcement because I would be waiting inside until my ride arrived regardless of what he had instructed. Within a minute or two my ride arrived and I was able to get in a warm vehicle and proceed home. The whole ordeal lasted about 10 minutes. I would like to mention that this is the only trip advisor review I have ever written but am doing so with the hope that it will get the attention of management and be addressed to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Bad customer service is one thing, what I experience had the potential to be life threatening.

Forced to stay in a handicapped room. Asked to change rooms and was told non were available. That night hotel was 10% full. No plates were available and front desk told me "its not our job at the desk. Eggs sausage and biscuit breakfast were ice cold. This must be worst Fairfield Inn in the United States. Should be sold to Hilton so current staff can go back toworking for the Post office. All this and I have Platinum status. Will never stay here again. The rooms could have been alot cleaner too.

What a horrible experience. From the time you pull up to black moldy facade on the outside, you’re greeted unenthusiastically. When we walked off the elevator the halls on the second floor had a horrible musty smell, and when we opened and walked into our room we were met with a foul smell of human urine. We immediately went to the front desk to ask for a different and cleaner room (mind you I haven’t even gotten to the mold in the bathroom, or holes in bed skirts and dirty sheets). The front desk staff gave an insincere apology and said there were no other rooms (a lie because we went online to see if we could book and they had availability), and that all they could give us was an air freshener. The brought back cleaning material in a spray bottle that was most definitely not an air freshener. This place is unsafe to stay in and horribly dirty. Go stay anywhere else.

I have stayed at other Marriott hotels that I would highly recommend; however, I can't recommend this one. There is always good and bad in everything and the good was Johnetta who assisted us during our stay. She was great when we had questions, needed extra wash clothes and towels, and reprogramming our key cards when we got locked out of our room. The staff replenishing the breakfast food were nice as well. The breakfast food was OK. The room was OK; however, it was supposed to be ADA compliant for someone that had mobility not hearing issues. It did not have any grab bars or other needed requirements. Also, there seemed to be glitches in the systems during our stay - we got locked out of our room due to that system glitch. Also, the exterior doors were open to everyone as you didn't need a key card to open them. A major safety and security issue as far as I’m concerned. Also, when I told the front desk staff member upon check out about the exterior door issues, he said nothing and didn't seem to care. He was too busy trying to fix the computer in the corner as it seemed to be having issues as well. And the biggest issue was the fire alarm that went off very early Sunday morning due to another faulty part of the system - smoke alarm(s) that detected smoke that wasn't there. And we happen to be in the ADA room for someone with a hearing impairment, so extra loud/lights which all about gave me a heart attack. There was also no additional instruction or information from anyone as to what was really going on. It was poorly executed, and I was in a panic trying to get my 87-year-old dad who has mobility issues up and out of the hotel fast. I also brought all that up to the same front desk staff member upon checkout on Sunday and mentioned that I would also like a percentage of my room rate reduced for that day. He had no reply at all about the matter other than he can't make any adjustments. I can’t in good conscience recommend this hotel.

Very conveniently located just off the interstate, near gas, food, mall. Super comfy beds and bedding. Clean. Microwave, mini fridge, in room coffee, pool. Decent choices for hot breakfast. The only weird thing was that instead of a canister of brown sugar at the oatmeal station, it was a canister of Graham cracker crumbs. (No sweetener of any kind for oatmeal). But we would definitely stay here again.

My husband expected more. He was initially impressed with the look of the room and then it went downhill. The bed was just OK, the AC went from very cold to warm, there was a lot of road/car noise, and the tub drained exceptionally slowly. He decided not to even try the “breakfast” thinking it would be of the same low caliber. He would not recommend this place.

While the lobby seems fine and it was a good location, we would never stay at this hotel ever again. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable musty smell. The bathroom had mold (including in the shower head), was dark with horrible lighting, and had toilets so loud we could hear those in rooms around us. I did submit a concern about this experience on the Marriott site, and while they were concerned and helpful, in the end forwarded it to the hotel and said I would hear from hotel management in 3 to 5 business days after they investigated. It's been over a week and a half and I've heard nothing. There are many other hotel options in this area - stay somewhere else.

My daughter is traveling cross country and Colette at the front desk was super helpful with me. I called Colette from another state and she helped me understand the various Marriott choices for my daughter's situation with location and her truck and trailer. We ended up choosing their property and it was great. There were eating options in the area. Ample (safe) parking for her vehicles and she was very pleased.

Yuck! Will never stay again. We don't stay with Marriott too often, but I have the assumption about this brand that it is higher end. Not the case with this place. When driving up, the building looks disgusting, with black stuff all over the outside. The parking lot is horrible with little room to back in or out of spots. The lobby didn't appear to be too bad, but once we got to our room, it was a total disappointment. The curtain had holes in it, the bed skirt had holes in it. Totally run down and dated. The bathroom fan sounded like an airplane taking off. So loud, and then there was like black stuff in the corner wall of the bathroom, either someone threw their chew up there or it was mold. And the bathroom was dark with horrible lighting. This place needs to be inspected by corporate.

Hey Mr. Marriott, you need to visit this hotel. Upon arrival we noted that the outside had black "stuff" on the facade (which probably was from AC leaks) but gosh, couldn't they pressure wash it? Made our arrival dubious and at that point I had already made the reservation so couldn't cancel. Of course the lobby was nice, aren't they all? Our room needed a rejuvenation. Our biggest gripe was the black mold (?) that was around the windows and the vents of the AC. Was so glad to leave here. And why did one room cost $114 and the next night $139?? Not on weekend either.
