Booked a stay online for June 20th-24th 2022 for $314. Upon arrival the room was in such poor condition & cleanliness, I requested a new room and it was in the same condition. Stained sheets, dead bugs, dirty counters etc.. The front desk clerk advised we would receive a refund but it would take 7-10 business days. As of July 11th 2022 we still had not received a refund. Oh July 14th I went back to their location to ask for a refund as I had not been able to reach a manager or associate who could help with the issue over the phone. They told me they would issue a refund and it should show on our bank account after 24 hours. The transaction on our bank account showed on July 15th for a charge of $314 not a refund. The bank is unable to reverse the charge unless they receive a letter head from Econo Lodge. Or after it completes processing we will be able to dispute it. Econo Lodge can also void the transaction & the 2nd charge will fall off the account. After which we will still not have received a refund. As of today July 18th the pending charge expired and they pre authorized a second amount again. After a month of being told we would receive a refund we have almost been charged three times for room we didn’t stay in for longer than 2 minutes, and have yet to see our money back. It’s been a circus trying to speak to a a manager as well, we were told they would be available for us to speak to & now we are being told they’re conveniently out of the country in Cancun.…
HORRIBLE STAY! Do not stay here! I would give 0 stars if I could!! We checked out after an hour, and I’m not even sure I even got a refund yet. My husband booked my room and accidentally forgot to change the booking to my name, and the hotel gave us a hard time to change it. Eventually I contacted the website I used to book it and they changed it without any troubles, but the hotel claimed they did not have access to email to see any updates on the reservation, and claimed they could only receive fax! We waited over an hour & the front desk attendant said we would have to cancel and rebook. They charged us over $30 more than that I originally paid to rebook. Finally got our room, and it was DISGUSTING! Please look at the photos. We found 2 bugs within 5 minutes, the towels had nasty stains on them, bedding had holes & stains. Absolutely no WiFi! We even requested to switch rooms but even the new room had no WiFi and the shower head was missing. The front desk was very rude and said he couldn’t help us. We ended up leaving after an hour of stress and stayed at another accommodation nearby that gave us no problems. Please don’t make the same mistake and stay here!!!…
Really stinky!! the rooms smell like old and the bed sheets had blood. Really bad experience not recommended at all. 🤢 The internet sucks and the worst part is the service in the lobby. They’re not profesional at all.
I was hoping that the reviews had forced some changes. - Non-Smoking room yet smelled of smoke. - Lots of holes in walls poorly patched. - Obvious that no one had cleaned under the fridge in a while. - Shower area was tiny, forced to dress in main part of the room, which may be a problem if you have others in the room. - Had terrible time sleeping as mattress was like sleeping on a bench. - Towels were stained. - Shower head was at about 5 and a half feet up. - The only positive was the price. I would say this needs renovation, but it would probably be best to knock it down and start over.
My family and, I stayed here while I was on a business trip as well as my co-workers. We cought 9 rat's while staying at this hotel in just our room. Instead of giving us a refund, they raised the price. The lobby was suppose to be open every day at 6am for breakfast. We had to call to wake them up each morning. Then there would be food spilled from breakfast the morning before. Very noisy everyday. Couldn't watch TV because of the noise.
After staying in other EconoLodge motels, this one is terrible. Only benefit was close to I-35 exit. Room 119 did not have a smoke detector, no knobs on the a/c, no telephone in the room, the clock was not plugged in but we didn't dare look behind the nasty night stand for the outlet. The two fabric chairs were badly stained, very dirty. The lamp shades were very dusty & dirty. The drapery had a large hole, did not hang properly & very dirty!! This room did not pass Fire Safety Standards!! It certainly failed any quality control inspection IF Choice Hotels corporate ever comes to inspect. Poorly managed hotels like this give EconoLodge a bad reputation. Desk clerk said breakfast was up from 6:30-9:30. I walked to the lobby at 6:45 a.m. the door was locked, no one inside, and there's a phone with sign outside the locked lobby door which says dial 0 for assistance. So I called and obviously woke up the same desk clerk that checked me in. He came scrambling from his room next door to start making coffee, etc. So I had to wait for coffee!! You got our money but we did not get any value!…
We needed a motel that allowed easy access from the car to the room as we were moving and had lots of stuff we didn’t want to leave in the vehicle overnight. The front desk people were friendly but the place is obviously an old building where they have tried to update some furniture and flooring. Not to say it wasn’t somewhat clean, but it just didn’t FEEL clean. Missing hairdryer and USB ports didn’t work. Breakfast was minimal with waffles and 2 choices of cereal being the main options. Not somewhere I would choose to stay again but it worked for a cheap 1 night stay.
Nice staff and service. Excellent room condition. Near by free way. We would recommend this hotel. Quit and clean place.best stay.being totally updated . and remodeled.nicely done,quite as to workers doing work and clean.good value and newly renovated rooms.

I think this place needs to be inspected. Holes in wall, cracked light switches, hair on floor in bathroom which smelled like pee. The stairs to the upper floor haven't been cleaned in who knows how long. Bed was barely made and the cover had bleach stain on it . Yuck, Econo Lodge should be embarrassed by this place.
