Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Gym had a Peloton which was nice. Solid stay for a quick business trip. Not a high end hotel in terms of room or bathroom furnishings but you get a nice stay for this class of hotel. Didn’t try steakhouse but nice a restaurant is on premise.

Jamilah / Jamila (sorry, I forgot the spelling) welcomed me warmly to this hotel when I found myself there after a flight was canceled. We chatted about the tall, elegant Japanese warrior replicas in the lee way and the leeway the general manager had in selecting these pieces for the hotel. I generally appreciated the art in this elegant hotel. Jamila, when prompted, kindly spoke to positive qualities about the Hilton properties that I had not considered. The other front desk employee was also quite nice as was the shuttle driver. The conversations I had along with the professional, elegant environment was a delight after a difficult travel day.

I had a good experience at this hotel, however I wouldn't say it is in the best area of town. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on-site which was very, very tasty, though a bit confusing to get to from inside the hotel.

Fantastic stay… why? Extremely clean, refreshingly and surprisingly quiet, great food with huge portions (worth every penny), great wine selection, outstanding location. And, most importantly, the nicest people. I love Iowa and I loved this hotel.

Great place to stay especially if traveling thru DSM airport. They also offer parking and shuttle to and from airport. Johnny's restaurant is attached and a fantastic place to eat & have a drink. Their breakfast is also very handy and delicious.

This Hilton Doubletree was exceptionally clean and modern . Many amenities . The steakhouse, located on property ( Johnny's Italian Steakhouse ) was truly exceptional . I would recommend this hotel in you have to be by the airport or near the central business district .

I am a Marriott member (platinum for life) and rarely stay at Hilton brands, but when I need to stay near the DSM airport, I will definitely choose the Doubletree again over the Fairfield. The staff was terrific (bar, front desk, and especially the assistant GM) and the rooms were more spacious than I have seen in some time. There was a real, full bathroom with a tub and not just a shower. The shuttle was on time, both drivers were delightful, and the airport location is perfect for early depatures and late arrivals. I would definitely recommend the hotel!

We were very pleased with this stay at the Doubletree Airport. Nickie at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a small buffet in Johnny's Restaurant which connects with the hotel. We will definitely return to this property in the future.

The room smelled weird. Not a clean smell. Garbage in the garbage can from someone else and the light by bed didn’t work. Thinking the shuttle to airport is great and drivers are awesome but rooms not up to par and desk staff not the greatest either. Trying another hotel next stay for early flight. We will pass.
