Staff was EXTREMELY rude, Angry that I checked in at 1:00 am., and let me know just how angry they were. (I was 'walked' from another Wyndham property by Wyndham headquarters when the other location was overbooked). Never heard a welcome or a greeting of any kind. A terse 'driver's license and credit card' only. Never heard a please or a thank you during the entire check-n process. I was given no information at all about where my room was located, Wi-Fi, breakfast, parking or any other amenities. I am in my seventies. I have NEVER been treated like this before. I almost left because I was fearful of what this person might do, but it was cold and snowing and there was no place else to go.
"When we arrived at 10pm on Saturday, July 2nd late at night, the woman at the front desk was extremely kind and friendly; she is the only reason I am giving the review a 2 star rather than a 1 star. We slept well and the beds were comfortable, though the room and the hotel in general was pretty run down. In the morning, around 6:30am on July 3rd, I took my 3 young children for breakfast, and there was news playing loudly on the TV. Given that the news was highlighting things that was too mature and scary for young children (violence, arrests, protests etc...), and that we were the only ones in the dinning room with only 1 other guest, I thought I would change the channel while we were eating. When I went to ask the man at the front desk (maybe in his 50s, bald), he was on his cell phone and was immediately annoyed that I asked him a question. When he got off his phone and I asked if he could please change the channel or turn the TV off, he became immediately very agitated. Within 30 seconds, he was yelling at me, telling me that that the hotel was sold out and that he was not going to accommodate me because the TV was for everyone, not just me. I calmly explained to him that I understood, but that I had young children and the content on the TV was scary for them, that we would not be long in the dining room and that I had already asked the other guest permission and they did not mind that the channel be changed. This made him even more agitated, he yelled at me some more in front of my children, then walked away from me, refusing to change the channel, and muttering, "who does she think she is?!" He then got on his cell phone once again and I overheard him talking about me to the person on the phone. My kids were obviously shaken by this, so I took them back to the hotel room, we ate there, and left as quickly as possible. This was a huge contrast to the kind, welcoming woman who had greeted us the night prior. I am writing this to warn families of the non-family-friendly nature of this hotel, and to management so that they are aware of the terrible and verbally abusive customer service we received from this man. Never in my life have I been treated this way for such an small request, or for any request for that matter; it was horrible customer service to say the least, I don't even have words to describe. If you have a young family, I strongly recommend you pay extra to go somewhere else."…
Our only issue was that there was no elevator. We had six bags for our stay and we’re on the second floor. New staff member was very polite and helped us out twice. We did not have breakfast, but it did smell good as we walked by.
BEST BLANKET AND SHEET COMBINATION. I love not having a duvet for the blanket. good location. good food nearby. no pool. but nice breakfast area. standard Super 8 breakfast. Not the best for a gluetin free diet. noise level very fine. air conditioner quiet.
I was so very impressed by this Super 8. The grounds/landscaping were well-done and maintained, the building layout was not at all like a "typical" Super 8, more like a higher-end line of hotels, the furnishings were in excellent shape, the room was clean (even in the corners). A very pleasant experience overall
It worked for me while I was there. The one thing I would of really liked was eggs for breakfast. It was good enough for the one night. I could of used more coffee in the room. So so so so so works for me.
I found the inn more than satisfactory: front desk was polite and helpful; room appeared clean, including sheets and pillowcases; some traffic noise in the distance and not enough to trouble me; plenty of parking plus decent location. I stay at Super 8 motels because I need someplace inexpensive that is trustworthy, not looking for a resort. I stayed at two this trip and was not disappointed: good price performance.
Clean. Affordable. Convenient to many Local Diners. Easy Access on/off INTERSTATE I-80. Knowledgable Staff. POOL. LAUNDRY. Ample parking. Breakfast MUFFIN, JUICE, and COFFEE. Spacious room. QUIET. Sidewalks Clear Immediately after snow.
The room looked okay when we arrived but we noticed the beds had never been changed by housekeeping. When I pulled back the sheets they had blood stains on them. My daughter thought it was bedbugs. Management was "VERY RUDE!!!" and never apologized. My advice would be to always pull back your beds sheets and check for cleanliness as soon as you enter your hotel room as the second room was more of what we would have expected.
As other's review said, this hotel's hallway was terrible! The carpet was stained and smelly. Luckily, the bad thing stopped there. The smell didn't enter our room. Our room was big, clean and quiet. Breakfast was a surprise to us, especially during pandemic. Most hotels cancelled their breakfast but didn't update their advertisements. This made guests disappointed.
