We have been traveling for several weeks and have stayed at many places. This hotel was by far one of the best we stayed at. Room was more than adequate in size, it was extremely clean, Beds were very comfortable, and the location was absolutely a treat as to how quiet it was. Using my reward points on hotels is usually hit or miss. But not this one. Great value and ever bit as nice as 3-4 star hotels. Spacious suites, pool area, and amenities. Near the airport so a bit outside of Des Moines, but quiet country like feel.

Could be a mistake or could be fraud. Be warned that the hotel charged my credit card fraudulently. I am waiting on a refund so we will see if they make it right. I will otherwise have to dispute charges. Otherwise, hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast good.

The check in process was very smooth. The room was very clean. The pillows and bed were comfortable. The AC was quiet. The breakfast was probably the best motel breakfast that we have ever had. The DM Baymont was certainly nicer and more accommodating the Dubuque Baymont. They even had a staff person on hand in the breakfast room to ensure cleanliness. Appreciated the extra effort.

A very nice place! Friendly staff, especially the gentleman in the breakfast area. The cleaning staff was also very efficient and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that the refrigerator wasn't cooling properly, but no big deal. I Highly recommend a stay here.

I rarely give a 10. I al.ost always feel things could be a little better. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. We certainly feel our room was nicer than our pay grade... The evening we checked in Jamal (spelling?) Was very welcoming. James the guy in charge of breakfast was beyond wonderful. He made us feel we were welcomed to his home. Every thing in this place was spotless and it was very quiet. We loved the pool area. Thank you for having a hot tub. I know they are an added expense, but there is nothing better than a good hot soak with bubbles, after a long car trip. My only complaint? We don't have you in our town! Thank you

We have been staying here for over a decade and are never disappointed! In recent years when we’ve had poor accommodations at other Wyndham properties, this place keeps restoring our faith in the brand. Corporate heads at Wyndham should make this some sort of business model for other properties. James always makes breakfast a joy! There’s extensive choices for food including lots of protein options - scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bacon, sausage - and grains and carbs (assorted cereals, pancakes, waffles), etc. There’s usually some sort of fresh fruit and lots of beverage options. Then there’s the beautiful swimming pool and hot tub. Next to that is a great gym. We will keep coming back to this Wyndham property when we skip over so many these days after sub-par experiences.

This hotel is delightful, a perfect fit for me. I travel to Des Moines periodically and this will be my first choice to stay for future trips. The shop was well stocked and reasonably priced, breakfast was good with a variety of choices, they gave me a ground floor room just inside an access door which was helpful since I was traveling with a handicapped person, the pool area has a hot tub, and the space in the center of the building has multiple courtyards and areas for relaxing.

This is an extremely well/maintained and clean property with a very friendly staff. Breakfast was wonderful with endless choices. Unfortunately, I was in a room (120) where doors slamming shook my room all night and kept me awake.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed both times. There is a lot to do. Arcade, pool table, pool, gym. The breakfast had more options than nost hotels I have stayed at. And the room was very clean and nice.
