Very well-constructed big/tall building perfectly located near to everything you should be close to run by people who exemplify "Iowa Nice" 😆😆😆😆😆😆 The majority of residents seem to be Long-Term Renters--so no worries about wild Spring Break Parties or less reputable fly-by-night types. If you end up staying here multi-year like I have, you will discover all the nearby highlights such as the Greenbelt Trail walking/cycling path as well as the excellent Machine Shed Restaurant across the street, which is part of an actual Modern-Day recreation of Iowa Life as it was back in the horse & buggy time before technology took over the World ♥️🤍💙

I am in the middle of relocating to the Midwest and this place has been wonderful! Cindy is awesome and i love it here! Clean, quiet, safe, and home away from home. If you’re looking for a safe and reasonably priced stay either short or long term this is for you!

I was for a business trip and it was nice and clean place. Convenient for work travel: it has a business center, right off I-80/I-35, and a Starbucks right next door for a morning caffeine fix. There is also a gym next door. Nice staff. Recommended.

I have stayed here twice in the last year was treated very well never had any issues they have a great staff they are very friendly and helpful I will stay there again it is very quiet and safe place it is a great value

This hotel was clean, quiet and the staff was extremely friendly. We felt very safe and were treated very well. The price is much lower than any other extended stay property that we looked at. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value, especially with free access to Aspen Fitness center right next door.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a month and my experience was very different than the older reviews so maybe something has changed with the management of the hotel. I thought it was very clean and comfortable. The location is great (fitness center next door and tons of restaurants close by) and you rooms are a good size with all the amenities I needed for the month.

very well kept older bldg. -quiet and reasonably priced compared to other extended stay hotels or apartment living. free internet and cable. just like an apartment - you do all your own cleaning, supply your own dishes, bedding, etc etc. management and maintenance are top notch!

This place is very disappointing. Room and furniture stink with funk, beds are old, broken down mattresses & very uncomfortable, Wi-Fi is very slow, when it works. Management becomes very defensive/hostile when approached with these issues, especially if you want to leave early and get pro-rated refund....basically, they refuse to act with any measure of customer service, concern over dissatisfied customers, and cooperation to rectify the many deficiencies this place has. Never stay here! It is cheap, but there is a reason it is cheap. Don't make the mistake of signing up for any extended period, because once you realize the deficiencies, the management plays the "we don't allow refunds after you sign the document". It seems that they don't care about unhappy guests as long as they have your money. They will stick it to you and in essence dare you to defy them and make them act responsibly. Manager accused me of making threats, which was outrageous. I was very calm, professional, and logical with my requests. That consideration was not reciprocated. Will be filing complaints with the American Hotel and Lodging Association, BBB, and the State Attorney General as to their tactics.…

Unsafe and I have pictures. You walked downhill in the room towards the airconditioner. Floor is not even. Major cracks in wall. 1215 had to have maintenance come because we could not even lock our door. Had to pull door in to room to lock so did not seal shut. 13 inch tv. Awful. I have so many pictures to turn into Des Moines Housing because it is not a safe facility. We even had to make the beds with stuffed comforters in the entertainment center.
