We were in town for a soccer tournament. The hotel has what you need, but definitely needs some love. The common areas were oddly shaped and kind of small, the pool area needs updating. Our room was quiet and a decent size (although again, shaped oddly), but was really, really musty smelling. The saving grace and a big reason for the overall rating was that staff was great - really efficient and accommodating without a hint of attitude.

My family has stayed here several times for weekend sporting events. This is one of our favorite hotels!
Pros: quiet, clean, comfortable, safe, updated, bright rooms, great rate, friendly staff, easy to reserve blocks of rooms, hot breakfast, good coffee, large suites with 2 beds and a large sofa bed, cute and functional kitchenette with a small sink, nice pool and whirlpool
Cons: When you have the sofa bed pulled out, it reaches all the way to the TV stand and you have to step over the edge of the sofa bed to get to the other part of the room. This isn't a big concern for us, but it is a design flaw we have come across at every Springhill we have stayed at.

Very disappointed. I just was there for one night. Arrived in the evening and just wanted to relax. I changed quickly. Then noticed the toilet and bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned. I had no desire to call and be moved. I’ve carried disinfectant wipes since COVID. So I just cleaned it myself. Ugh! Then I found socks on the floor. Obviously the floor wasn’t vacuumed either. Then I began to wonder what really was clean. I don’t ask a lot when I’m at a hotel. But a clean room is really a must.

Not a bad hotel, I stayed here four nights. Really nice rooms, breakfast is great, made it worth the stay. The hotel is sort of by it self has plenty of free parking. Has a nice walking track outside of the hotel. Good gym/workout/pool facilities. There are plenty of restaurants within 2-miles of the hotel. Would defiantly stay here again.

Both pillows had BLOOD on them! We're not talking about hair on towels. We're talking about biohazard . Human pathogen! This is beyond unacceptable, even in "normal" times, let alone during a pandemic. I told the front desk and the lady didn't care. She said what do you want me to do about it, I don't have another room! I had to sleep in my car and they wouldn't refund anything. NEVER STAY HERE!!!

Location is in an out of the way location that is close to the main Marriott Resort and retail/dining off of Milwaukee Avenue. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. The lobby area looks OK but the whole hotel looks like it needs some TLC, a steam clean, and a lot of maintenance. Gym is small with one elliptical and when I went to use the machine the TV didn't work and the mx man couldn't communicate to me what was wrong. The rooms themselves have an odd internal layout that makes the king bed seem tight in its space and too close to the bathroom. Just not a good vibe. Expensive for what you get in my opinion. The free breakfast is worth exactly what they charge....coffee is plentiful, hot, and excellent.

The room was clean;the front desk staff were pleasant and efficient, and the breakfast was sufficient. I had expected a little more from Marriott. There was no where to sit in the lobby except for a very basic area of tables and chairs for breakfast. There were several large groups all trying to find a place to gather so it was extremely noisy. Although there was a sleeper sofa in the room, the lay-out did not allow for more than three or four people to sit comfortably. Neither the pool nor the hot tub had heated water. The breakfast was very basic and the attendant was not very friendly. It was an "OK" stay in a good location.

The hotel itself was very good and clean. The front desk staff was very kind. As I checked into my room, I found that it was located right by the elevator and therefore it was very noisy. Then, I asked the staff to change my room. Even though the hotel was full for the night for a teachers conference, she gave me another room right away.
The room deco was well designed and arranged. But the sofa bed's position was very strange because it was facing the king bed. If you pull it out, it would've blocked your way from the desk area to the bathroom. I wish there could be a bathroom fan since taking shower caused so much humidity in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was very clean and nice.
The breakfast area was big enough to accommodate many people, but the lobby area was a little small. Breakfast was just average.
Although I didn't use it, it was nice to have a whirlpool with a swimming pool. And it was good to know that it runs between 6 am and 11 pm. The internet was included without any password.
In general, it was a very nice hotel located in a very safe area that had many business buildings. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone including business people as well as families.

The whole building was redone in brown and gray colors. No more green/aqua colors. The redo was really needed. All rooms have a mini fridge, microwave & sofa bed. Windows open a few inches. The TV had all the basic cable channels. No weather channel which was odd. The hot water was VERY hot. But of course you can adjust it. Be careful. When reserving a room, avoid the first floor at all costs. The outside doors slam, noise from the pool and noise in general from the lobby. The higher the floor, the better. Tons of parking for any kind of vehicle. Across the parking lot is Walker Bros. restaurant. Their menu is 80% breakfast food. Easy walk getting there.
