arrived early at 1000 as we had to check out of previous accommodation. immediately greeted with a very warm welcome and even before any admin, were invited to breakfast in the hotel. superb choice and selection available, one of the best breakfasts we have experienced in a hotel. Room was immaculate and very spacious (we had a suite). Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always keen to know if you were ok and what you had been up to during the day. had evening meal in restaurant on last night and again really great service all in. we have s tayed here previously and definately will again if in Port Soller
We were invited to a wedding in Daia and Port de Soller was the perfect destination to be close to this, and had a 6 night stay at the Fergus Style Soller Beach. The hotels location was amazing, right opposite the beach with the charming trams rolling by on a regular basis interesting heart of the port. Staff welcome amazing particularly by Cata and the guy whose name we can't remember but always smiling and greeting us as we came in and out of the hotel. Really good. The positives about the hotel was the location and the breakfast was excellent, alongside the staff. The negatives were that the communal areas could have done with being air-conditioned, just fans and very stuffy, and frankly the rooms were clean but very basic, more akin to 3 star than the 4 the hotel had, with very little storage. But generally good and overall would stay again. Just one issue at the end... Our private transfer back to the airport on the last morning, included in our Jet2 package, was due to arrive at around 7.30an and we were told by reception they would inform us when it had pulled up. We waited in the bar and then a receptionist called us over to say it had arrived. She showed us to the cab and we asked it it was definitely ours, she said yes. We got in in, and the driver put our cases in. We drove to the airport and on arrival at the terminal, got out and tipped the driver. He wanted paying the full fare of €54! We said no, it was included in our package. Turns out the hotel had mixed us up with another couple whose cab we had taken! Quite a big mistake and awkward for us and the driver. We managed to straighten it out inside, he called the hotel and they offered to pay. It did teach us to be extra vigilant with a private transfer in future. Appreciate mistakes can happen, but could have got nasty if the driver and hotel had not got it sorted so quick. Overall, lovely stay though and we fell in love with Port de Soller, will definitely be back.…
We have just spent an amazing week in the Fergus Styles Hotel, Soller Beach. From the minute we arrived we had fantastic service and we were upgraded to a room with a sea view terrace with tub (which we had as a cold tub after a day on the beach). We had half board and both breakfast and dinner had great food and lots of choice. The best was the omelettes which were cooked to order at breakfast. The location is the best being right on the beach and in the middle of Port de Soller. The only negative was the swimming pool which was in a different building and had no view except other buildings. There was also no atmosphere at the pool. Such a shame for such a fabulous hotel.
Disappointing for price. Room tiny with no extras. Swimming pool across the road and very loud and not relaxing. Breakfast ok. Felt let down as stay was very expensive and not worth it. Would recommend staying in a different hotel.
My wife and I had a great holiday staying in the Fergus Style Soller Beach Hotel. Our room was very adequate, clean and comfortable. Should we stay again, which is likely, we would probably chose a sea facing room, if available, or one of the top floor rooms with a large balcony again facing onto the beach. The room was very well attended by the hotel staff and the hotel bar/restaurant always spotless. The breakfasts were superb. What a selection and the staff in attendance very cheerful. The air-conditioning in the room was very welcome due to the terrific weather. The reception staff were very helpful and always keen to assist. The hotel location couldn't be better as it's probably less than 20 metres from the sandy beach and 100m from the tram station, the tram to transport you to Soller, approximately 6km inland. The hotel pool is located adjacent to the hotel annex approximately 50m from the main hotel entrance. The pool isn't huge but is perfectly adequate and the surrounding grounds comfortable. It is supervised every day from 10am (opening time) to 7pm (closing) The restaurant serves high quality meals throughout the day. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and only had dinner there on one occasion but it was first class. The reason for not dinning there more regularly was simply due to the fantastic restaurants throughout the resort and we wished to sample as many of them as possible. The bar staff were very attentive and again, it was service with a smile. We would highly recommend this hotel and resort to anyone looking for a relaxing break though if you're a keen walker or cyclist you'll be perfectly positioned.…
Hello .... The Fergus Hotel is in a great location right across from the beach, The shops restaurants and bars within walking distance...The staff are superb especially Cata and Helena on reception and could not do enough for you.... The breakfast buffet is super with a wide selection of food .. Unfortunately the rooms at the Fergus are badly in need of a refurb and considering the exorbitant price of a room for what is simply a 3 star hotel I would in no way pay that price again ............ 300 euros for a room for a night you would expect pure luxury ... The whole hotel was very disorganised there was never a sign of a manager he was never in the building when we asked.... The reception staff were super but were very over worked there was only one member of staff on reception which was ridiculous when a number of guests were checking in...... Overall there was a feeling that it was not a very well run hotel .... and paying those prices it is just not on ....... We will definitely return to Porte De Soller but we will never stay again at the Fergus…
Booked a seaview room with balcony. The location was fabulous with the beach just across the road. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be hired for €18 per day. The sea was warm and we could swim until at least 7pm. The room was immaculate; not luxury but it had everything we needed. Fridge and kettle provided but you have to ask for tea and coffee sachets! Breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of hot a cold food, beautifully displayed and freshly cooked. Tables inside and out. We had lunch there on two occasions and the menu has something for everyone at a reasonable price Although the swimming pool is a block away was not a problem and was a good size, clean and with plenty of sunbeds and a lovely garden. Would go back without question.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are small but the Seaview and location was excellent! Staff were friendly, cleanliness was very good and we would return certainly. There are other much higher standard & priced hotels in Port Soller but if you are staying for a sort visit like us this is perfect. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Only thing we didn’t really like was the pool area but as you are right in the beach that didn’t matter. Thank you for a lovely stay
Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location. 30 strides to the beach. The team are friendly (especially Helena) who cannot do enough for you. I highly recommend The Fergus Style and will go back for sure. Thanks for providing a wonderful place for our holiday 😊
I love the Fergus. The staff are amazing. So friend and helpful and accommodating. The location is A1. Right at the beach. Great facilities, a lovely pool, a great bar and terrace. Breakfast is very varied and delicious. The coffee is really good. The only quibble is that the “economy” rooms (which are still priced appropriate to the location) really need a refurb - they are a bit run down. But I would still stay here again.
