Feel of a boutique hotel, without the boutique price. Loved the clean modern feel of the hotel. Great location downtown for accessing Art Museum, Millennium Park, Lurie Garden, and the Museums. I'll definitely stay here next time I visit downtown Chicago.

The location in the business district makes life after 6pm poor. Needs a free breakfast, and a microwave in the room. The feel and visuals of the hotel is perfect. It just needs to get the little things right.

Let me augment my response. The elevator does require a key, the key is your room key that you tap inside the elevator to get to your floor
