Excellent location two blocks from Wrigley field and many nearby restaurants and shops make this a choice area. We stayed on 2d floor apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths - wonderful property, parking, full kitchen, W/D and garage parking make this a great choice. The property hosts are most gracious.

I was in town for a last minute surgery unfortunately however I was extremely lucky finding this place.

It was perfect and so well equipped with everything I needed for as a comfortable recovery as possible. In fact even better than my my current living situation!

The location is perfect and so was the stay. Great communication with the owners and I didn't need to request any specific items as everything you would need is already provided.

I really enjoyed having such a comfortable space and hope to visit again next time (minus the surgery)!

We spent spring break (first week in April) with our three kids in the house on Newport Avenue and it was perfect! Plenty of room for us all to stretch out on two levels, plus a great back yard and garage to park our van. It is in a great neighborhood. It's within easy walking distance to the red and brown lines, Wrigley Field, restaurants, shops, grocery store and pharmacy. We always felt very safe walking wherever we needed to go. I would recommend Teri to anybody who is thinking of staying in the area. We would definitely stay there again!

We went to Chicago for the weekend and stayed in the first floor apartment on Hederson. The building, neighborhood, shops, bars, restaurants and location are perfect. The owners' pride shows in every detail of the meticulously maintained building. We were especially pleased with all the personal touches that made our stay delightful.

We stayed here for a week while our kids did a camp at Second City. It had everything included we could have thought of and more! Coffee, shampoo, laundry detergent....In a great neighborhood walking distance to Wrigley Field, Southport EL, quick bike ride to lakefront. It was a dream. Teri was great to rent from, no problems and any questions answered quickly. One free garage parking spot and street parking stickers which is key for the neighborhood because parking is tight. Can't say enough. Much better than staying in a hotel!

This was my second time staying at this location. The first time was about eight years ago with some friends. This year I attended a fire conference in Indianapolis and told my coworker's that we should go to Chicago afterwards and I knew the perfect place to stay. Once again, we enjoyed ourselves and the accommodations were more than expected.

Teri goes out of her way to make sure any question you have will be answered before you have a chance to ask. When you arrive there are two notebooks that detail the home, appliances, amenities, the surrounding attractions and the greater Chicago area. I'm not a baseball fan but if were this would be the location to stay and see the Cubs, Wrigley Field is a short walk away.

The kitchen was great and it accommodated five firefighters cooking daily meals. We walked 10 minutes to Whole Foods for groceries and took a short drive to Trader Joe's as well. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessary tools to feed a family and there's a gas grill out back as well. After dinner we usually walked to Dairy Queen and then walked everything off just strolling around the neighborhood.

I myself don't like to travel home with dirty laundry so I was happy to find a full size washer and dryer in the basement. Speaking of the basement level, there's a huge jetted tub in the bathroom that I forgot about until writing this review.

There's a two car garage, a parking space next to the garage and in one of the folders I mentioned earlier there's a daily parking sticker for on street parking. I promise you won't find a better location in Wrigleyville or Chicago. Chicago Guesthouse has so much more to offer than a hotel or bed and breakfast. Quiet comfort in a busy bustling city that's well worth the money.

We rented the cosy ground floor, two-bed apartment and enjoyed our stay. It is creatively furnished with some lovely works of art. There is a garage at the back so free parking, a big bonus in Chicago. The apartment is about a two-minute walk from Southport station on the Brown Line, which takes around 20 minutes to reach the Loop; Belmont on the Red Line is also not too far a walk. The apartment is located in a nice area, with a good selection of shops and restaurants. The apartment came very generously stocked with a range of household essentials; so only food shopping was necessary. There's a small garden so you can sit outside and everything you are likely to need is provided - a home from home. Communication with the owner was prompt and efficient. An excellent selection of material has been compiled by the owner about Chicago, so you won't need a guide book. We gained a sense of what it’s like to live in Chicago, which you don’t get staying in a downtown hotel. Highly recommended.

The Wrigley Suite was perfect for 4 couples and children. The house had everything we needed! The kitchen is more than well stocked and there is plenty of seating for family meals. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are quiet and dark. Teri has thought of everything! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a week in the city with everything so close by...Jewel Osco, shopping, restaurants and the el train.

We had a wonderful time at the Chicago Guest House. We rented 2 floors of the building for a long weekend in Chicago for some Cubs games. We had a spectacular time during our visit. The house was clean, well appointed, comfortable and perfect for what we needed. We spent time outside, inside, and all around the neighborhood. I can't say enough about how easy it was to rent this home and how much we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back next year and look forward to another wonderful trip.

My three boys and I spent a fantastic spring break in Chicago. The boys ranged in age from almost 7 to 14. All of us enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants and sites. Staying so close to Wrigley was awesome - even for non-Cub fans. Each night after the boys had decided where each was sleeping (she has the most comfortable beds and linens) we were able to rejuvenate to explore the city again the next day. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting Chicago. Teri provided us with a binder of helpful tips and restaurant ideas. we will definitely be back.
