If your room is on the street side you are to hear sirens and traffic noise. If you are in the back, the room is over 20 airconditioning units at the roof top of the building across. The fan for air conditioning or heating is either fully on or off. If you are sensitive to noise, make sure you have ear plugs with you. A drunk person was banging on my door at 4 am, had mixed up his room number. I stayed there for a conference, it ruined my sleep and conference day. One hour of late check out is charged $25. After staying there for 5 days, one hour could not be granted free? Stingy rules. However the staff was trying to be helpful.

Disorganized, & unprofessional. Came for a wedding, I had to argue to get a wedding packet, they swore it wasn't mine! Not friendly! The 5th floor has zero insulation! Walls are paper thin, anyone in the hallway talking comes right through the wall. The pop up restaurant 5 stories below you can actually hear conversations, let alone the BLARING music. Clean & comfortable, but noise is intolerable! Do NOT recommend! K. C.

Just returned from our trip to Chicago. This is a small boutique hotel. The rooms are modern design and I really appreciated the cleanliness of the linens. The breakfast included was good. the staff was very Nice. The location is very close to the river cruise which was excellent. The place is simple but I got the room all in for $150 for the night which is good for Chicago. Nothing fancy but I wasn’t at the hotel much. I would stay here again

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. Close to everything and had a nice view of the city lights. Only thing is we wish the hotel offered more breakfast options. But not a deal breaker because Chicago has a lot of breakfast restaurants to choose from.

I’m surprised at all the glowing reviews of this hotel. I could not sleep at all due to the noise. The first night we stayed in a third floor corner room with one wall backing up to the Roc Bar which had super loud music that kept me awake until 4 am despite using earplugs, noise-cancelling headphones, and a pillow over my head. The next day the front desk staff switched us another room but it was on the same floor, only two doors down, and faced Kinzie St. It was minimally quieter but the street noise came right through the windows. The bed was comfortable but the bathrooms are dark and definitely need to be updated. In the end we spent $1,700 for three nights at a hotel where I could not sleep. It was close to the attractions I was interested in visiting but the lack of sleep ruined the weekend. I don’t know if the price is due to post-covid inflation but this hotel did not feel like a good value at all and I will not stay there again.

Fantastic hotel in terms of location, comfort, cleanliness and staff. Jasmin and Abdiel were amazing! Restaurants, easy access, many activities on foot. Just an observation: we were only able to eat eggs for breakfast on the first day. Very nice stay!

The location is excellent. Room are very clean and had everything you need. Staff in reception are lovely. BUT the breakfast is below standard and not what you see on the photos of the hotel site Breakfast was on floor no: 6 One waffle maker and people had to queue and wait for ages if they wanted waffles. The queue was formed along one side which meant no one else could get at the side table of small fruit etc with out saying excuse me many times… on the second day at 7.30am there was no fruit not a apple or banana it was all empty. I saw two people asking for a trays but they were all gone. The breakfast NEEDS to be improved for sure I spoke with a few people who said the same . We paid $950 for two nights

This is a boutique hotel in a good very walkable location. It has a minimal lobby. The hotel staff were friendly and provided excellent dinner recommendations. They also assisted with calling taxis. There are nearby restaurants. You can get a good cappuccino across the street at Einstein bagels.

Great hotel for first timers to Chicago. Loads of lovely restaurants, bars, jazz/blues and tourist attractions in very easy walking distance. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room ideal. The complementary breakfast and nightly Managers Reception were such wonderful extras. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to return to this amazing City. Thank you for making our stay so fantastic

I stay here 3 nights for a business trip. Really enjoy the stay in downtown Chicago. Good location to business downtown, easy to go fine dining restaurant and shopping. I like really like the big window that I can see the downtown Chicago night. The front office very friendly, the breakfast is good but not fancy. It does not like other chain hotels with all kind of stupid excuses that can not clean room every day due to pandemic. They keep your room clean every day. This is a major reason I will come back again.
