The Hilton Team was amazing in helping us set up our wedding block. Kennedy was extremely helpful and our suite was gorgeous. We had the groomsmen take photos in our suite! We also had access to the lobby and platform room at the Canopy (great cocktails at the Canopy Lobby Bar). We took all our wedding photos before the ceremony at the hotel and I cannot wait to see the photos! Best part is that we were able to reserve two wedding blocks. One block at the Hilton and a second at the Canopy. Both hotels share the building and it was great to have all our guest at one building. Our guest loved being downtown. The hotel is a great location for all site seeing in Chicago.
nice hotel bed was super firm parking is 45.00 a night and its a 75.00 hold on your cc a night parking garage is next door you have in&out privilege great stay will stay again l restaurants downtown close early plan a head for food
I stayed here for one night using 50,000 H Honors rewards and loved it. Check in was fast and friendly. Wifi is fast and reliable. Be sure to push hard on the door to open your room since it's a new door it's still kinda stiff no big deal but I figured it out! Also when getting on the right elevator make sure you use the right one since they share this property with another Hilton brand hotel here. Angela the manager was nice enough to send me a text to ask if everything was ok! That is service above and beyond what is expected! Kudos to her great customer service! The King deluxe city view room was huge! it felt like more like being in an apartment. Microwave and fridge were very convenient. The bed and pillows were super soft. The area is kind of quiet at night since it's a business district but the good thing about that is that it's quiet at night and right next door to the Willis Tower aka "Sears Tower!" I highly recommend a visit up to the 360 observation deck. The closest restaurant that was open past 6pm was Giordanos. I had the Italian beef sandwich add cheese and it was amazing! It's right across the street. The orange line is only 1 block away right across from Giordanos and it takes you to Midway Airport in less than 30 minutes. If I am in this part of Chicago again I would definitely stay here! Thanks and keep up the good work!…
Great stay!! Will stay again!! Cant wait until the rooftop is open and functional. The staff was very professional pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed our trip to Chicago. Would recommend the Lincoln Zoo as well.
No reason to get a rental. We walked everywhere. I will be back again and make this my normal stay. I enjoyed the weather and ppl I met on the streets as well. Starbucks was within reach and much needed.
This hotel is awesome. This building used to be the railroad headquarters and they have an art deco style. The staff has been super friendly and helpful. Angela at the front desk was nice and helped with all my questions. Evelyn, Hap and Manny at the bar were inviting and made the best drinks. The cocktails are really good and reasonably priced. The food was really good as well. We had the mac and cheese, Italian beef and mushroom soup. This hotel is dog friendly. They provided us with a doggie bed and a doggie treats when we checked in. The lobby areas are the best mix of comfortable and fancy. I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is located across the street from Willis Tower and shares the building with Hilton Canopy. HGI is Lobby to 7th Floor, Canopy is the higher floors. There is limited food in the area for dinner, although there is a restaurant on site. Parking is $45 with in and out privilege. The hotel looks very new. Check in to the hotel was fine, all the front desk staff extremely helpful. Only time this was questionable was when I requested ice. One person asked if I needed a bag or if I wanted something filled up, and took my cooler to fill it up. One person insisted that I could only get a bag via room service. Another told me to go into the restaurant and fill up my cooler myself. We had a 2 queen room, only issue we had was one of the beds was really close to the wall and the only way to get into bed was to crawl in from the side or bottom. There was a layer of dust on the headboard in the room. There was a closet area by the door, fridge, microwave, arm chair and desk area with office chair. The bathroom included a shower, sink and dual flush toilet, towels were located in the closet area.…
Great property. The Front Desk folks were so helpful…I ended up having to add an additional night of lodging at the last minute. The room was great, the breakfast was great and again the Staff were very accommodating with all of my changes.
Check in took about 10 minutes and room was okay, had everything you needed. Right next to Willis tower and one of the Giordanos locations. Overall it was alright. Little pricey for relatively for what you get but was okay.
