The stay was amazing! Jing (front desk) and Donte’ (officer) provided excellent customer service. Parking was difficult as the area is VERY busy. The streets are clean considering the amount of public walkers that congregate in the area. The hotel is updated with very nice amenities. The gym is spacious and everything is so clean. They offer a excellent variety for breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for a one night getaway to see a concert nearby. Hotel was clean and trendy. Staff was friendly and help. Room was clean and comfortable. Blackout curtains were solid (always wonder why every hotel doesn’t nail this). Bed and pillows were great. Hotel bar looked nice even though we didn’t partake this time. Breakfast was standard but solid. Would be nice to see a tip jar out, the woman working worked her butt off…….. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the CTA Red Line, smack dab in the middle of Chinatown. Food options were abundant. Other bars and restaurants are a short Uber or Lyft away. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again.
took my mother and sister for a family foodie weekend trip in chinatown. this place was absolutely perfect for us location wise. the hotel live to my expectations for the brand, very clean and quiet even with a freeway in the other side of the building, very impressive. On top of that, the staff was phenomenal. Chaing at the front desk was great to chat with and Sharon who checked us in also took great care of us. the housekeeping ladies were very friendly. A special shout out to Catalina who managed the breakfast with help from Melissa did such an awesome job making sure everything was fresh, tasty and stocked at the same time ensuring the breakfast area was clean. Even the coffee tasted better than other Springhill suites I've been at! This is definitely my favorite place to stay now for Chicago. thanks for one of the best stays I've been to in a long while.…
We were their one of first customers when opened this spring . Love the convenience and location. $25 per 24 hr parking is great. This time they were very busy , the front people were pushed to the limits, hospitality biz should always be pleasant, a smile and a nod goes a long way.
My wife and I celebrated her 75th birthday with an Amtrak train trip from Montana to Chicago during the period 6-15/6-21 2021. The hotel in Chinatown is an excellent location with the Red Line "L" train just a few minutes walk, and the CTA bus # 24 stopping almost at the hotel doorway. Due to current Covid restrictions however, the bus doesn't run on week ends, only week days but the "L" ran all during the time we were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for excellent dinners just a few minutes walk away. The Operations Manager, Mr. Feng I believe, arranged for a taxi to take us to Union Station when we departed and it arrived right on time. Since the hotel has only been open since March 16th, both taxi drivers taking us there upon arrival and departure had to drive by a second time as they were unsure of its location. We went to a Chicago Cubs game on the Red line train northbound, and the White Sox stadium is even closer to the hotel than Wrigley Field., again on the Red Line southbound. If we are fortunate to again visit Chicago in the future, the Springhills Suites hotel in Chinatown will be our destination. mEm…
We went to Chicago to go White Sox game, the hotel was near to the stadium also in car is just few minutes to the downtown, hotel was nice, the rooms modern and cute, friendly staff, you can walk around the neighborhood and also visit China stores.
We stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Chinatown the first 3 nights the hotel was open, and had a wonderful time! Scott, Kevin, and Cindy provided excellent service throughout our stay. Each time we left or returned to the hotel, one or more staff members greeted us warmly, and they ensured that we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Our room had a view of the street below, which is lined with interesting shops and restaurants. Breakfast (in March 2021) was grab-and-go, with granola bars, fruit, juice, and coffee, which met our needs. Parking was easy in the ramp attached to the hotel - we were able to leave our car and take the Red Line train to downtown and neighborhoods farther north. We enjoyed staying in the Chinatown neighborhood and will definitely return to this property!
