Would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet location for a relaxing break. We found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. Overall we had a fantastic stay, with a beautiful room with its own private pool and great views over looking the sea and the local town Koroni. The hotel has a lovely infinity pool, and is set in immaculately kept grounds. The current breakfast arrangements are not self service, which can lead to a queue at busy times, but guess this is a left over from covid restrictions. Having said that there is plenty of breakfast choice. Would recommend hiring a car or be prepared to budget for local taxis as there are only a couple of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. However if you are staying half board that’s not so much of an issue. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the local beach which is about a 20 minute walk down a steep hill, so worth using it. This runs until 6pm and drops you off at one of the local restaurants. The hotel has an allocated space on the beach for guests, with free sun beds and umbrellas, and provide beach towels, which is a plus. The hotel is about a 40min drive from the airport, and is in a great location for visiting the local area. Would definitely recommend visiting the ancient city of Messini which is about a 90 min drive into the hills.

What a lovely hotel - it’s beautifully maintained, the staff cannot do enough to help and are all (without exception) friendly and attentive. The setting is stunning with a lovely infinity pool looking out to sea. Immaculately kept rooms, gardens and public areas. Could not find fault with anything and look forward to returning. Point to note - there is a kettle, cups and saucers but you need to bring your own teabags/coffee. The complimentary bathroom ‘stuff’ is lovely. We could easily write a list of staff names who were brilliant but would hate to miss anyone from the list.

This is our fourth visit to this stunning hotel. This time we travelled with our 21 month old toddler. Every member of staff was fantastic with her. We can’t fault this hotel at all we have had a brilliant week. The beech was amazing, Georgia and Gerry in particular are a credit to the hotel. We had a shared pool room which was great when our girl had her afternoon nap we could still have a swim and relax.

Ignore all the less than positive reviews - this place is bliss! I stayed here for 10 days in June, travelling solo, and had such a relaxing time. The area is quiet - 2 restaurants nearby and a shop with the basics; there is a bus into Koroni which you can catch from outside Egli Vounaria restaurant around the corner which goes around 4 times a day and costs c 2 euros each day. You can also hire an e-bike at this restaurant. I walked to Nea Koroni one day where I took a coffee; there is also a larger supermarket here. The walk is about 30 mins from the hotel. All the staff at the resort are delightful, and a special thanks to Kelly who made me feel very welcome as soon as I arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. I ate in the restaurant a few times and found the food good as was breakfast. I also had 3 treatments in the Spa with Maria who was amazing. Thank you, Camvillia Resort and I hope to be back soon.

I can say a lot about Camvilia, but i will keep it brief. Everyone is very polite and willing to help. Really good room service. Don't forget to eat your dinner at the restaurant. Great food, super great tiramisu.

We arrived looking forward to a 5 star week away. Unfortunately this didn’t happen as we must have higher standards than most, Camvillia really isn’t up to much. The view from the communal pool and our large “shared pool” room were the only 5 star features. We have stayed at many other hotels and in comparison this shouldn’t be labelled platinum or 5 star. The dinner menu is incredibly limited and the breakfast system was beyond a joke. To have no way of freely selecting your breakfast but to have to stand in a queue and have it dished up like a school dinner, isn’t 5 star. No waiting staff will come to your table to ask if you want a coffee, you have to get up and find the staff. It became a daily struggle to get what you want as either the staff serving you aided Greek guests first and they would stop you from serving yourself. The front desk team although seemingly helpful at first, weren’t very clear or friendly and we found their manner somewhat rude. Gerry the driver to the beach was by far the most able member of staff but it should be the norm not an exception. We enjoyed the beach bar but that wasn’t part of the hotel and the food was not only fresher and so much more reasonable in price but the portions were more generous too! Be very aware that a shared pool room may well be on another floor to the pool. Not experienced that before. We paid extra for a pool room but going up and down two flights of stairs to get to pool is not right. The cleaning of the room wasn’t up to my better halves standards and I fully agree. The bathroom although large with a shower and bath, just wasn’t clean enough to enjoy the tub. The rooms are situated on the side of steep hill, so enjoy the exercise or call for the golf buggy to get you back up to reception or the bar.

We booked our holiday with secret escapes in 2019 but due to an accident was unable to go. So we have waited along time to get here. We finally had our holiday last week and it was truly amazing. Everything was just perfect the accommodation, the restaurant and bar, the amazing views and the team were all very professional and great. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend the Camvillia Resort as a wonderful place to stay.

I cannot recommend Camvillia Resort & Spa enough for a relaxing break. The view from the restaurant and the pool overlooking the sea is beautifully tranquil, especially in the early morning and evening. We loved our room, which was really spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The private beach was also wonderful - Gerry from the hotel taxied guests back and forth whenever you liked, and there was a member of staff on hand on the beach itself in case you wanted to order any drinks. We had several spa treatments over the course of the holiday with Maria - the massages were great and she was good fun. The restaurant food was lovely; half board guests could choose a 3-course meal from the menu every night, and there was plenty to choose from. We never went hungry! But the biggest shoutout has to go to the staff - we felt looked after from the minute we walked in (after a sleepless overnight flight) to the moment we left, and all the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Andreas in the reception team was especially helpful and really friendly. We will definitely be returning again and want to thank the hotel for the most wonderful break!

We booked our stay for a week through Secret Escapes and we’re apprehensive before we went as to what would be on offer, the remoteness and it being the first foreign travel for us since COVID. From the moment we arrived it was a warm and relaxed welcome. The facilities were exactly as described but all staff went above and beyond to make sure you felt welcomed and to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The hotel never felt busy, rushed and the set up was with the customer in mind. It is 5 star and felt 5 star. There were some minor things but they didn’t bother us and didn’t impact our holiday so we never raised them with the staff. We are sure if we had, they would have been addressed. There is nothing particularly in the area so we are glad we opted for half board. Having read some poor reviews about the food, we were pleasantly impressed by our evening meals and did not have a bad meal. The views from our restaurant were amazing and staff were attentive yet allowed you time to enjoy the meal and ambiance. The private beach area was beautiful. It isn’t raked daily unlike more commercial areas but we loved it. Gerry is always available during the day to run you between the hotel and the beach, towels supplied and an employee on the beach to ensure you can get drinks and have what you need. There are some lovely taverners right on the beach to visit for lunch and get out of the sun. We would definitely recommend and would want to return
