Spent 3 nights here in Nov/Dec very warm and cosy.
Staff were kind and helpful.
Great breakfast lots of choice and quite tasty.
The lift was a great addition as there are 4 levels to walk up if
you really want to.
Bottom floor room is worse than a budget Travelodge. The hotel have crammed an extra couple of rooms next to the lobby. I think I lost the plot after a bus load of pensioners started an epic game of cards. How knew they had quite...More

It may be a little tired but it is a comfortable and very clean hotel with friendly staff and a great position near the ferry station, really good value and we would stay again. Breakfast was pretty good with selection of alternatives.

We used the number 6 from the coach station which is just over the bridge from behind the train station. It was quicker and cheaper . The number 1 is lovely as it goes all the way along the Grand Canal but you might prefer to do that without luggage! You can also use the number 5.1 or 5.2. When you get across to Lido the hotel is a very short walk from the boat dock - just cross the road, carry on past the tobacconist/newsagent and the little department store and it is there, next to the bank.
It is a lovely hotel with great staff, 24 hour reception, left luggage etc.
