spent one night. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was dated and the sink drain was seriously slow draining, but overall a good experience. The lobby was very nice and clean. They serve Starbucks coffee! There was plenty of self parking spaces.

This has been a Fairfield Inn in its former life, I guess. It is a bit older, but a well kept property. The rooms were nice and clean. The only thing I would have changed were the mattresses. They were too soft and felt laid through. Otherwise it is a quiet place if your room neighbors allow it. The staff was absolutely friendly and made us feel welcome.

If Courtyard is supposed to be one of Marriott’s ‘Upscale’ brands, this hotel misses the mark. The hotel is old and our room, while not being particularly upscale, was in need of repair and refurbishment. The room was quite small, with the king size bed squeezed in about a foot from the wall. The rug was stained with large white smears that looked like glue or plastic and the refrigerator cabinet was broken, preventing the fridge from closing properly. It looked like it had been that way for a while. The bed was VERY soft unsupportive foam with ill fitting sheets too small for the mattress, which caused them to pull off the mattress and wad up in the middle of the night. On the positive side, the shower had good water pressure and a non-slip surface, and I liked the wall mounted pump bottles for shampoo, conditioner, & liquid soap. They were probably intended to save money but they are easier to use than the fussy little bottles. This no-frills hotel had no pen or notepaper in the room and no free coffee/tea in the lobby. Sofas in the lobby sitting area had large stains. It wasn’t a horrible experience, especially for just one night, but certainly was not ‘upscale.’ I couldn’t figure out why this hotel has such a high rating, but I think it’s the friendly staff. The fourth floor housekeeper that we met was very friendly and nice. The woman who checked us in (and out the next morning) was friendly enough but I was distracted by her wearing her mask as a chin strap. I would have greatly preferred it if she’d have actually worn her mask over her mouth and nose. She kept splaying her fingers in front of her face as she talked, as though that would help, but it made her lack of a proper mask even more distracting.

Loved Keiaundria at check in. She was very helpful and treated us with true southern hospitality. Neisa helped us with other comfort items. We enjoyed being treated like family! Lots of choices of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the indoor pool.

We just did one night over the 4th. The lady at the front desk greeted us with a smile from the beginning to the end--answering local questions we had as well. Though we were only there 1 night we used the pool, workout room, and laundry room--all were clean with no issues. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. If anyone in the area was shooting off fireworks you could not hear them from inside. The breakfast choices at the Bistro were great as well--and like everyone else from the hotel we came in contact with--we were greeted with a friendly smile. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.
