Older facilty but clean, clean, clean!.and quiet! Very friendly staff, however the Price point of 129.00 is far from justified, this should be a 89 buck room. There is a reason you are maybe 20 percent occupied, you are too much money per night
We entered the Hotel room on a cold night. It was just as cold in the room as it was outside. No Heat Was On!!! Freezing!!! We had to put the heat on 90 degrees and it was not comfortable til about 1am. When I turned on the water for the shower yellow and orange stuff came out. Yuck!! It took the water a few minutes to run clear, who wants to take a shower in that? I took a shower but my husband would not because it was so nasty. The bed was very hard like sleeping on a box spring. Only pillows there were small square pillows and my neck hurt for two days. Rough Night!!!!
They advertise truck parking. Not really for tractor trailers. I arrived early and was able to get in. They added $1 to my bill for the safe that I neither saw or used. Other than that my stay was fine. The room and the bed was decent. The room was clean. Quite a few places close by to eat at. I recommend Outback.
Terrible inn. The room had a strong odor, nothing worked, the sheets were soiled and the rug in the room looked like it had mold on it. Complained to a certain staff member who was arguementative when we shared to him about the room.
My friends and I needed a room for the night because we were going to the Petit Le Mans in Braselton, GA. This hotel was the cheapest, at 154.00 with tax that I could find nearest to the track. We checked in okay and the the lady was very nice to us. I needed some coffee and ! it was bad. I didn't ask for any more, we needed to get to our room. The room was nice, but average. Internet was good, no trouble there and the TV worked also. We went to sleep and had a radio clock between the beds which when I woke up during the night to see what time it was, it was blinking! I guess the power went out during the night. The next morning when I went to reset it, I noticed it had no battery in it. There was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. It was a good thing I really didn't need it. We went for breakfast and the food was good but the coffee ! again was bad, very weak. When we left the place I asked my friends what rating they would give the place, they said 2 and half stars to three stars. I did receive a survey from the hotel and answered it and the manager emailed me back and saying they were sorry for the problems. Maybe improvements are coming.…
The motel is quite old and tricky to get into. Rooms are entered from the street, not enclosed in an interior hallway. The furniture is new, mattress was excellent. Bathroom really needs updating. Breakfast was decent.
First off this property is nothing special. It is converted from a wing of an old Holiday Inn that had been around since the 80's after most was the original Holiday Inn was torn down to make room for a porn shop. I pay my own expenses for business travel and chose this property only because it is convenient for my needs. It seems to be a favorite of truckers who take up most of the parking. If you are lucky you won’t have a refrigerator truck parked outside your room that runs all night or get the trucker who has an early run and starts his truck at 4:00 AM and lets it run for 30 minutes before leaving. My last stay the heat worked but the thermostat is restricted to let you make the room any warmer. I have been a Choice Privilege member for over 18 years and a Diamond Elite Member for about almost as long. Typically most Choice Hotel properties recognize your Diamond Elite status and upgrade your room. That is not the case at this property. The front desk has a high turnover and on my last visit there was a new person. She "my love" me to death (that's even worse than sweetie or honey) and told me there were no King nonsmoking rooms available and besides she had 15 Diamond Elite members who hadn't checked in ahead of me. In addition she said the only rooms available were on the second floor. I am guessing most of 15 that hadn't checked in, never showed up because when I went to breakfast in the morning there were A LOT of King rooms with their curtains open that were never occupied. So I know I was lied to. Speaking of breakfast that is a joke, they put out the bare minimum and there is nothing worth eating. I do have a choice and I will not be staying here again or the Comfort Inn behind it which is under the same management. I have made Choice Hotels aware that this property does not live up to their standards but have not heard back.…
The service was wonderful. The employee who checked us in was sweet and courteous. While his seems like it should of be a given anywhere, we know this isn’t always the case. The room seemed clean enough until I took off my shoes. The carpet was sticky. The color was dark so you couldn’t see obvious dirt but you could feel it. I used every spare towel in the room to line my walkway so I didn’t have to wear my shoes but other than the neglected carpets, the room was clean.
I don't usually give negative comments on hotels unless they are really bad. This one wasn't so bad it just needed more cleaning. The room I was in had cobwebs in the corners and running from a lamp to a mirror. I was there for 4nights and my room was cleaned daily however the cobwebs remained. The bed was comfy but it only had 2 very small pillows that looked more like throw pillows. I walked to the office and asked for one or two more and they said they didn't have any, so I went down the road and bought me some. It is a ok place to stay and I will probably stay again if I am in the area. They are in the process of updating the rooms. Maybe I will get one the next time.
No odor when I opened the room door. Clean room with everything you need inside to include flat screen TV with cable, iron, microwave and mini fridge. Hotel is close to the highway, movie theater, gas station, hookah lounge, novelty store, liquor store, restaurants, CVS, Pizza Hut and Wal Mart. Ice machines outside near the stairwells. One was broken and the other was empty around midnight.
