The location of Jameson INnn was great for us, however, if it wasn't prepaid, non-refundable, I would have walked out immediately. The room was DIRTY. The toilet was dirty, the beds were very sloppily made iwth old worn out sheets, holes int he sheets and prickley bumps all over them. The bedspreads both had holes in them! The pillows were flat, foam that was probably 20 years old. The walls were dirty, needs paint badly. The door for exit was so dirty I didn't want to touch it! It was a painted white door with dirt and sticky spots ...just disgusting! Don't go here if you like clean. Plus, there were people hanging out next door, making noise and smoking. If I opened the door, the smoke came in our room. The a/c worked fine. I ask for disinfectant from front desk and sanitized things. Had an awful night, lumpy bed...will NEVER go there again! The desk clerk was friendly and tried to be helpful. (but what's he going to do!!) He did bring us better pillows. And, the towels were clean/white/new.…
This is potentially the very worst hotel I've ever stayed at. There were children running on the second floor balcony until 10pm, followed by some sort of domestic dispute in which the police were called, drug deals in the very next room (just outside my door) and a 3am wake up booty call on the LANDLINE room phone. I still don't know where Ray is, not sorry! When asking for a refund, manager (owner?) told me he had been in business 30 years & if I had problems I should have called the police at night! Excellent business plan chief!! As promised, here is my list of grievances for the whole wide interweb to view in hopes that no decent humans rent your rooms. Lower forms of life have taken the entire building over - they need to EXTERMINATE the clientele! Management included.
I stay there once a year for Divine Conference at Free Chapel,People are kind, friendly, always around when needed, rooms always clean and plenty of parking and few restaurants close by to eat & shopping
Check in was easy. Rooms have outside access. The bathroom was in great need of upgrading. Toilet seat not secure and tub stained. Saw one bug. Otherwise, it was alright. Kind of noisy because there was a fishing tournament that weekend. Close to fast food. Not on main road, so that helped some with the noise.
Stayed two nights as this was our host motel. Waited 2+ hours for our room to be ready. We had made our reservation in January for our May trip. When we got there, we were told that no rooms were available downstairs but it would only be a short time. We were told they finally had a room but the air conditioning was not working. That was not acceptable. Finally got into a room about 5 after waiting the 2+ hours. The room had two queen beds, not the king size we had reserved. The next day, we were out most of the day and our room never got cleaned, no clean towels. Had to go to the office about 8 that night and asked for towels which he got out of the dryer...I was warned that the towels were still hot. Toilet seat was so loose that you would almost fall off. We will really have a think twice before staying there again.…
Stay anywhere but here. This hotel hasn’t been updated since at least the 1980s and doesn’t have contemporary amenities and/or safety features. The walls are super thin, so I had noise from rooms on either side. I’m also not a smoker and was booked in a non-smoking room. However, I was “treated” to several hours of secondhand smoke from other guests who were “tailgating” in front of their room next door. My room included a broken chair and a shower that had seen far better days. Breakfast wasn’t up to expectations, either.
The management seemed good and friendly. The breakfast seemed fine to me. The room smelled a bit smoky. I had to open the door to breathe better, although the room was supposed to be nonsmoking. The people I met there seems okay with everything. The parking seemed fine. The locations seemed fine.
We have stayed at Jamison Inn before and it was ok, but this one? The pillows were flat, the A.C. ran loudly all night, every time it came on, the tv remote would not work because they had the connection on the floor. When I complained to Red Lions who own this motel chain, they would not offer a refund. They said they would get with the property to "fix it:. It is clear from all the reviews, they do NOT care! DON"T stay in this motel! We will never stay at jamison inn again!
Where do I start. Upon arrival, I was greeted with no one at the counter and a sign on the counter that read “ Pick up phone for assistance”. The phone rang and rang, then a young boy arrived and asked if anyone answered then went to find someone. A guy showed up (I think it was his dad). With a slight language barrier, he did the paperwork but the price was higher than I reserved it for. He had to run my card again to credit the difference. The room was not what I expected from a Red Lion property. The room was old, beat up and had a smell to it. The sheets were so thin you could see through them and the comforter had two large holes in it. We talked about cancelling the second night but didn’t have time to deal with it. On to the breakfast area. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I had to look for the milk. I found it in a small refrigerator in a gallon jug, wow, just like home. The woman managing in the morning was dressed very unprofessionally while wearing a baseball hat backwards. We were glad to leave. This place was by far the worst place and most unprofessional hotel we have stayed. With a lot of hotel choices, I think we may look elsewhere next time.…
We expected a nice clean well maintained room. What we got was a room where the phone didn't work, dial tone but the key pad did not function. The security latch on the door was broken off. The shower curtain rod had been repaired, but old mounting spot not well finished, and there were a dozen small sooty looking smudges on the wall by the TV. The breakfast had no egg or meat, just waffles, donuts and cereal. Not a bad place, just needs some serious work to get it up to speed.
