I booked this hotel through Hotwire’s hot deals, which means I didn’t actually choose this hotel. Well, I’m never gonna use Hotwire (via Kayak) again.
The only good thing about this hotel was the room being quite spacious with separate living area. Other than that, old musty smell all over the building, old & worn-out furniture, so old that dark stained carpet, constant water running noise from the wall, no waffle/egg/meat breakfast, and hard mattresses only affected my review negatively.
I know you can’t really expect 3-4 star quality from 2-2.5 star hotels, but believe me. You can find a better one than this.

We arrived at this hotel on July 31, 2014 for our family reunion and were to check out on August 4, 2014. The only nice thing about this hotel was the furniture. I had rooms, my daughters had rooms, my sister had rooms. My aunt & cousins had rooms. My other brothers had two rooms. Plus other family members from different places had booked rooms. One of my rooms had ants in it and when we complained about them, was told that maintenance was not on and given a spray bottle of Clorox to spray them with. The room my niece was given was so infested with red ants that they were at least an inch thick in spots. My sisters floor was so dirty looking it wasn't funny. My aunt asked for extra clovers and was given 2, then my granddaughter ask for one and was given it, but when somebody else asked, they didn't have anymore. We asked for extra towels and was given a few and when we asked for face towels, was told that there wasn't anymore and housekeeping wasn't on duty at night and we would have to wait until they came on and washed more. My cousin said when she looked at her towel it was dirty, so she used her hands to wash herself. The two banquet rooms that we were going to use, weren't clean until the day of our event. Another couple arrived in the evening and they only had 1 towel in there room for their whole family and was told they had to wait until the next day. I must say that they did put my sister and niece in another room. We tried to speak to the manager and was told she was gone for the day and they didn't know when she would be back. The staff wasn't friendly, helpful or seem like they were very concerned. Needless to say, my daughters, my sister, my aunt, my nieces, my brothers, my cousins and myself checked out after one night and moved to the Rodeway Hotel about two blocks away which was so much better. Also, the police had to come because of people smoking pot. The television reception was poor. The Wi-Fi was very slow. The pool was closed.

The Hotel is below standards, A/C was broken, housekeeping is horrible, Management is very rude, front desk staff is rude, it is a haven for criminal offense, trashy, elevator needs to be serviced & cleaned it is filthy, smells of urination. Gun shots. The only point of contact for complaints is the manager which is very rude, and disrespectful.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have EVER seen!!!! There were iron marks in the floor, crumbs on the furniture, and the bed was dirty. There were people sitting in the stairs and the police were there on several occasions. The room had a horrible smell. You have to pay an extra 10 for a tv in the same room with the bed. It was disgusting!!! You would be better off to stay in your car. Tv had few channels to choose from. Don't waste your money here.

Staff don't care about customer service especially the manager. Rooms are dirty. Ants. TV sucks. Bad neighborhood and shady guests. No microwave or guest computer. Pool closed in July! Enough said but I am sure I left out much more.

This hotel is very outdated and very rundown. There is no computer for guests to use and it's May and the pool is out of service. The lady manager had a very rude and negative attitude and was not accomodating. I asked if she had a fax and she said yes but when I asked to fax something she said it was not working. I later asked another employee if the fax was working and the employee said it was working then and always had been. I asked for a late check out but was going to stay another night but the manager started knocking on the door saying let's go now or you are out of here. I was on an important call and tried to let her know I was coming down to pay for another night. She came back to the room and said pay now or leave. I asked her several times to speak to me respectfully and in a respectful tone. She said you have to leave and I'm calling the police. She said this as I was walking to the front desk with her with payment in my hand. This person aught not be in a position of authority, not having the ability to use sound judgement as to when and who it is necessary to use assertion and @ what level of authority is necessary. Maybe she thought she could be abusive because I
needed a temprary place to stay. To bad that was a referal from the local coop ministry. SCARY!

Arrived at the hotel, no one to meet us at the checkin counter, after a few minutes someone showed up. Check in went fine.
Arrived to our room, 2 adults 1 child we got a king size room, when we returned to the front desk to say, no not what we reserved, they were insistant that the room was correct.
Finally got to the right room. OK. Carpet could have used a cleaning. Beds comfortable. Bathroom updated. Pretty clean.
Unfortunately woke one night to what sounded like gun shots. Cops there in the morning. Heavy marijuana smoke smell in the hallways.
It served the purpose, but will not stay there again.

Got twice bumped from a nice hotel by Expedia and ended up with this place. We walked in the hotel were overwhelmed by a strong stale smoke smell. Our nonsmoking room smelled like a combo of mold and smoke. Curtains are barely hanging on, rods don't function. Carpet is filthy. Breakfast choices: waffle, two apples in a bowl, milk, bread,a couple of cereal choices. Had to ask for yogurt. Apparent there are many families residing here. LOUD music heard from a couple of rooms away, banging on the doors, a lot of shady folks coming and going. While this place is roomy (love suite hotels normally), this one is not up to standards for more than one reason. There is a breakdown somewhere in the chain that management needs to be on top of - this doesn't qualify for a nice place to stay in my book!
