Older hotel that used to be a LaQuinta Inn. Large rooms, with a full tub and shower. Very quite and has rooms you can park your car in front of. Smoking and Non-smoking section. Next to WAFFLE House! For the money it's a good deal.
Worst Hotel EVER!! Delayed business trip forced a 3 day stay at this horrendous place. Regular criminal activity (Prostitutes & Drug Dealers every single day). The Staff is rude & dishonest. The rooms are old, moldy & fire hazards due to electrical issues. I have never encountered such unprofessionalism, criminal activity & fear for my safety. Also, 1 last thing.. Daily rates are often changed without notice. The Staff attempted to charge my corporate offices three times the rate advertised and quoted. I DEFINITELY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SUCH A PLACE TO RESPECTABLE INDUVIDUALS!!!
I stayed a week for about $35 a day. Free wifi, decent cold breakfast - lots of pastries and fruit. Drive up room is the attraction for me and the waffle house next door. Great value. Not the Ritz but large rooms, microwave and small frig.
The Room Was Clean We Got a VIP rooom since we know the owners the trip was worth it we would stay there a lot when ever we travel The breakfast wasn’t the best but the experience was great for us!!!!
Let's face it it's expensive at most Atlanta area hotels. Guest Inn and Suites gave me a great value for just $249 a week. Breakfast was fine. Nothing to fancy but all I wanted location was nice. Located next to Waffle House and a 24 hour mini mart. There is a nice restaurant sports bar a block away. I like the large rooms and brick construction. I can park in front of my room. There are many long term residents there and over night guests. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton but for the price you would not find a better value in town. I've stayed at many Atlanta hotels.
I've had some pretty hard times the past few years. My family turned out to be psychopathic and my friends turned out to be vultures. During my eye opening realization I found myself alone and in need of a sanctuary. The staff and owners of this hotel Welcomed me and treated me with dignity in a very sad time in my life. I got back on my feet and haven't forgot these wonderful souls. The place is clean and respectful for the unexpectedly great rates they offer. If you want to see a horror show, visit any Doraville or Chamblee Tucker room and see for yourself. The guest inn is my home away from home. Thank you to the wonderful owners and staff for your open arms and tidy rooms. To me,, you are priceless
Was gone to Philippines for six months. Came back to Atlanta and staying at Guest Inn. I was amazed at all the great improvements made since my last visit. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Next to Waffle House!
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. If I could give the hotel no stars I would! First of all the person at the front desk was not friendly. Second, there is a sign that says "15 minutes after check-in no refunds", this is a warning to turn and run. When we went to our room there was a lamp that was falling off the wall, a chair in the corner that looked like if you sat on it you would catch something, and when we looked into the bathroom, on the ceiling next to the light there was "black mold" on the ceiling where there apparently was some sort of leak that wasn't taken care of. The room in general looked like something out of "Bates Motel." SO before my 15 minutes were up, I went back to the front desk and got a refund. Do yourself a favor and don't bother staying at this hotel.…
1) The manager lacks customer service and is very rude for no reason!!! 2) Always gave us a hard time every time our keys would deactivate, making us seem like we were lying and trying to get in someones room 3) The room is old, out dated, nasty, dirty, run down, stinky, unsanitary and i could keep going 4) They always give us a hard time about getting new towels and sheets 5) Crack and meth heads EVERYWHERE and are not ashamed to ask where the drugs are, so the police are ALWAYS active which gets annoying. 6) Carpet smell like piss, I haven't took my shoes off for the pass 3 weeks i been in here 7) Someone stabbed my car so i reported it because they have so many camera outside but they showed no concern and basically gave me the oh well face. I only wanted to know what happened i didn't expect for them to do anything. In all honesty this place needs to be shut down! 8) Best advise for you is if all listed above is ok living for you then go for it! Otherwise go across the street or Motel 6 don't waste your time…
I've stayed at this location a number of times for a number of reasons. My first stay was great. It was under new management and it showed great possibility. My last couple of stay's since my first has changed my opinion. Service and standards have declined. On the positive, they do provide a clean and comfortable room. The rooms, like most of the property, is well maintained. The video cameras around the property give you some sense of security. This is an extended stay hotel, so the clientele may be a little sketchy. The employees personality and attitudes range from indifference to visibly annoyed, and the "free continental breakfast" is a joke not worth waking up for. On the upside, there are a couple of fast food sandwich shops, a Burger King, a tavern with an excellent pizza shop next door, and a BBQ and Thai restaurant all with-in walking distance. This could have been so much more than what it is, and what it is is a clean, comfortable room.…
