Normally I do not write bad reviews, I personally would not pay to stay at this hotel again. The staff was nice and friendly. But the beds are so uncomfortable, we left the evening before (not spending the night) because the beds leave you hurting and we are a young couple, both of us were in pain. The room smelled like wet clothes / mildew. I've had worse experiences but I definitely would not pay the money to stay at this one again.
For nearly 5 weeks stayed at this location. Found it delightful. Clean, near all appropriate amenities. Management was terrific. Bhumi (An employee) was always available for questions. This is your average hotel for a great price. Thank you!!
Our stay was a nightmare. Had to change rooms 3 times in a 4 day trip. Sink didn’t work in one room and was leaking everywhere. Found three cockroaches in another room. When we tried to talk to the staff they were very nice but not able to help with anything without talking to the owner. The owner was conveniently unavailable the entire time we were there. The rooms smelled like mold. There were also cockroaches in the breakfast eating area as well. This hotel needs more staff and better management. Don’t make the mistake of staying here.
When I went in there was nobody around. I rang the bell loud as I could, After 5-8 minutes she showed up. Went right to getting my room 206. I went up to it and the beds weren't made and the TV was still on. This was like 6pm so they should all be done by then. I went down and was reassigned room 309. It was clean only fault I con report is the TP holder was broke so the roll was just sitting on the counter. Other than waiting for so long I'm over all satisfied.
Beds are fine. Hallway smelled of pot! Breakfast was horrible. Make your own waffles and cold yogurt or cereal. The clerk sat playing on her phone and ignored guests. The free breakfast is nothing to advertise. They'd be better to end the farce and tell people to go to a restaurant
This hotel by far has been the most convenient location ever. There's plenty of restaurants and entertainment around the area. The staff was professional and extremely helpful. Housekeeping did an amazing job with cleaning the room. I would recommend this place to everyone I know.
I booked this hotel for 4 nights with my family for a mini getaway. It was clean and the staff was welcoming. This hotel is close to shopping outlets and less than a 15 minute drive from a mall and Dave and Busters. We ate at close by resturants, thanks Melanie for the great reccommendations my kids loved Papi's cuban!! We are very happy with our stay and will certainly be planning a return trip back soon.
My family and I arrived at the Country Inn and Suites in Lawrenceville Ga for a two night stay Feb 4-6. around 3pm. Upon check in we were told we could not check in because the credit card machine was down. I was told to come back in an hour or pay with cash. The problem with that is we just drove 7 hours and were trying to get to a funeral. We didn’t have an hour. We needed to get ready. I explained this to the woman at the front desk and her response was, either pay cash or go to another hotel. She even suggested a Hampton Inn up the street. She started to get an attitude. I booked this reservation on the website, my credit card information was on there, so I honestly didn’t see what the problem was. I then proceeded to call customer service and got someone named Jay. Jay called the hotel and was told the same thing, so he said there was nothing he could do. Customer Service could do nothing? What I don’t understand is if you know you have people coming in with a reservation, why no courtesy call to tell us we needed cash or given us time to book a reservation somewhere else? This was a very difficult trip to make, as I mentioned we were there for the funeral of a dear friend. I started to cry, it was embarrassing. No one tried to help. They just wanted us gone. Needless to say we ended up staying two nights at the competing Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites. Thankfully they had the same King Suite we had originally booked with Country Inn.…
We ignored all the poor reviews and warnings; unfortunately for us they were all true. We saw silverfish type bugs. The tiny room smelled like mold/mildew with little ventilation, and pillows/bedding worn out. The hotel has a severe shortage of towels. The two towels they did provide were kid sized and they did not appear to have additional towels to replace daily. We saw silverfish type bugs and heard other customers complaining about the number of bugs. The room was tiny with little ventilation, pillows need replacing and room smelled like mold/mildew. They never served a hot breakfast and other options poor. The refrigerator barely worked (kept shutting off). Every morning we were woken up with the room vibrating for hours. We tried to be tolerant but it was one horrible thing after another. Don’t complain or write a bad review because they will make you leave and keep your money too. We can confirm the bad reviews are accurate. You will regret taking a chance on this hotel.…
I stayed in this hotel many times, but lately, the last couple of years, it is very disappointing. As we checked in, room 110, we find out there is no toilet paper in the bathroom (!). At the front desk, I was awarded two rolls. Later, when I wanted to take a shower after 720 miles trip, I find out there is no hairdryer in the room. Another trip to the front desk resulted in disappointment - they did not have a spare one. I dried my hair over the AC, I felt like an idiot. I would have visited Walmart and bought one as a gift to the hotel, but it was a Thanksgiving night. The next day they put the hairdryer in the room, I even got a third roll of toilet paper. The breakfast is a bare minimum, the coffee is good.
